Sometimes, getting over pain and betrayal means Getting Up, Getting Even and Getting a Better Man.

Astrid has planned out her perfect wedding. That is before she found out that her fiancé, Bryan, is cheating on her with her cousing-slash-best-friend-slash-maid-of-honor, Geena. And worse, Bryan got Geena pregnant.

Just when Astrid thought it couldn’t get any worse, she received a wedding invitation telling her that her wedding will happen exactly the way she planned it. Except that she is no longer going to be the bride!

So when her parents urged her to attend the wedding “as family”, she planned the perfect revenge.
She will put on a show for everyone to see. She’ll show them that she moved on with a better man—handsome, smart, rich and crazy about her.

She’s even willing to pay a guy to be her “Knight in Shining Armani”.

Then she met bartender, Ryder. Totally smoking hot and quite a charmer. Astrid thought he was perfect for the job.

He pulled off the role quite well. Soon, her family thinks that Astrid was really with a smoking hot guy who wears Armani suits on a daily basis, drives a luxurious McLaren, and was totally in love with her.

Astrid invented the perfect guy every girl would kill to date, and every ex-boyfriend would hate to be compared with.

Or did she really just invent him?

What if she really did kiss a frog, or tamed a beast?

And that her quest for revenge was just the beginning of her happily ever after?

I’m really conflicted as I feel I have been overly critical too many times, but this just had too much going on, like Certs, it was two mints in one. Or three.

Editor! Stat.

Plot 1: Trope of cheating fiancee, deceitful relative and martyr heroine

The heroine (who vacillates between being a blithering doormat and a whiny, time sucking crybaby) has just had her wedding hijacked by her cheating fiancee and her cousin who was like a sister, obviously a very bad sister. The book starts out promising and amusing as the now cynical heroine who no longer believes in “ever afters” is sabotaging the wedding ideas of a young bride. No green as it will make everyone think of vomit, and tulips are out because of a horror story where a dead bride is laid out on some tulips or something like that. Turns out the heroine was a wedding planner, but now that the bubble has burst can’t help pointing out the pitfalls of marriage. She gets fired, and the heroine goes downhill from there. She whines and carries on with her long-suffering friends and Adam, a semi cousin whose related to the fiancee stealer. Adam is the lone voice of sanity and the only character that stays consistently interesting and is not on page off enough. He has some dramatic back story I want to read. He’s also kind of an asshole to the heroine.

The H arrives and he’s another On the day that you were born the angels got together and decided to create a dream come true so they sprinkled moon dust in your hair of gold and starlight in your eyes of blue. He’s the book equivalent of a Disney Prince Charming and too good to be true. In order to hold up her head at her cousin’s wedding that she has to go to she needs a fake fiancee that is educated, wealthy and charming because she never dates wealthy men. Ever. Wealthy men are the devil and will betray you every time. She adores her middle class orthodontist ex despite the fact he cheated on her with basically her sister. So who does does she meet? A wealthy charming bartender who promises he’ll be there as her date for $10,000. He shows up in an Armani suit, driving a McLaren and a Harry Winston 2 carat ring in his pocket. After an epic night where she can hold her head up again and loses her virginity, the H hands her the money back. The shoe hasn’t dropped yet and we’re not even at the 30% mark.

She finally figures out who he is, but there’s more whining because he duped her. He’s not a poor bartender, but is really a wealthy man and she never dates wealthy men because blah blah.....

Plot 2: Besotted hero chases reluctant heroine
Plot 3: Amnesia and love’s betrayal

From here we have

1. The H sweetly and romantically stalks her and charms everyone in her friends and family circle.

2. Dupes her again by being her silent partner, a really silent and secret partner, so she can start her own wedding planning business. The cad.

3. Finally gets her in bed again, but she’s still concerned about his money in that he has some.

4. The H gets in a crash and gets amnesia, retrograde amnesia with the h the only one he can’t remember.

5. Prince Charming turns into Dr. Evil and accuses the heroine of being a mercenary bitch where in his whole family wants to cap his ass but the heroine merely tears up in the corner. Again! Kleenex stock rises. His turnaround is utterly wrong and out of character for Little Mister Sunshine to morph into suspicious Greek tycoon behavior.

6. He reneges on the business deal despite having a written contract. Is this possible?

I think we were at the 60% point.

Despite reader's exhaustion and whiplash, I finished. I still want Adam’s story, and this writer to get an editor.

I have read this book about a zillion times!

I disagree with the other review that this book was predictable, because it wasn't. Sure some parts of it were cliche, but there's always a twist, there was always something happening, just when you thought things were going smoothly!

True that the female character was frustrating at the beginning, but that is what made her unique from the other female leads. Then she got stronger and got over her inhibitions in the end. That's what a good chick literature is about.

Ryder is really a Prince Charming in real life! I fell in love with him during the first chapters.

I was hooked by this novel from the very beginning. The writing style is wonderful! The author has a gift to make you feel like you were in the shoes of the characters. I laughed with them, I cried with them. I felt all sorts of emotions when reading this book! Even anger and frustration. The author is THAT good!

This is a modern day fairy tale that would make you believe in love and fairy tales again.

This story does not just deserve to be read. It deserves to be read over and over again!

It was worth every second of my time. It was indeed a wonderful journey, and a satisfying rollercoaster ride!

I would recommend it to every sucker for romance reader out there!

2nd re-read 26/06/2022

4,5 💖💖💖💖🌟s❣️❣️❣️❣️

I am not sure if I can convey enough my enthusiasm after reading this amazing full of romance story!!!!
It may not be a literary masterpiece, but for me it was fantastic and exactly what I wanted to read, and kept highly my interest, even though I read it for the 2nd time!!!

Ryder and Astrid’s journey engrossed me and brought a huge smile to my face!
Yes, Astrid was irritable at some points, but I could feel her coming out of a really bad breakup and how much betrayed she was not only from her fiancé but her female cousin as well.
And then she encountered the best Knight she could ever wish for!!!!

💝Ryder💝!!!!! 🤩🤩🤩

He was incredible!! Fantastic!! Wonderful!! Caring!!! He never demanded anything from Astrid and gave her space and time to acknowledge her feelings.
He was one of the best book boyfriends!! Well, there was an unfortunate incident (@ 63%) where he was not the perfect Knight anymore, but it wasn’t his fault.
However, everything fell into the right place much later, and Astrid and Ryder had an amazing happily ever after!!!

It was mostly from Astrid’s pov, Ryder’s appeared later.

A beautiful and heartwarming love story that gave me all the feels, despite the drama or cliches. I am aware it is a hit or miss read, it was definitely a winner for me!! 😉

Can I just start by saying what an amazing book this has been *Swoony Eyes*

Just days back I have been reading books which are heavy on angst and I came across this book and I am like Hey this sounds good... I need to read it and yes one of the best chick books I have ever come across :D

Its starts as a predictable story but towards the end WOW it takes a huge turn :) I ain't gonna spoil by writing more... so just read it

Lets start with RYDER :D (Where do you get such kinds of Disney kinda guy!!!)

 photo downloadSUIT_zpsdf31b34f.jpg

Ryder is one of the most charming persona I have ever read about *Grins* And Astrid ahhh she is lovely and sane and beautiful

Lets start with the story:

We are introduced to how Astrid is been cheated by her long time BF/Fiance with her own cousin and her cousin is now pregnant *_*

Well the thing is Astrid is a wedding planner, so when her wedding does not take place she turns a lil' bitter... she is sacked from her job and is now jobless. She stays with her half step bro Adam ( And might I say what a good cousin she has )

Now here is where the plot starts, as she gets an invitation to her Ex's wedding (YES!!! YES!!!) (Those suckers use her wedding for their own)

Now Astrid wants to rub it in her ex's and cousins face that all is well in Paradise. Her friends and Adam suggest that she hire a guy who will suit up in ARMANI and act rich, hot, Harvad educated and blah blah blah *Grins*

Enters swoony Ryder O_____O

He is a bartender (UMMMM!!! Ya lets go with that for now :P) who accepts Astrids plea to act as her Fiance (WOW!!!) Its hilarious :D

Not getting into much of what happens after this... I'd like to just point out some parts of the story which I really loved :D

The Ring that plays a very important part in the entire story:

The The EVER AFTER ... Malibu and Manhattan... Ryder helped Astrid in believing that she very much deserves an EVER AFTER *SWOOOOOOOON*

 photo e4227174647ecccd09584ab128d15fe4_zps3786c07a.jpg

I loved the Wedding that takes place in the end its beautiful:

First, let me preempt this with a few consolatory statements, to makes sure people don’t get too mad at me for this unpopular opinion about this book. I do not like giving out bad reviews to books, it makes me feel sad and I wonder what I missed from a book that other people loved. Also, I was really close to giving this book a 2, it was literally just the last 100 pages that made me really dislike the book and actually consider to just stop reading it. I like a good romantic chic lit book as much as the next person, and I don’t expect them to be these great pieces of work, but this book just had way too much for me to ignore.

(1) The first thing that really brought this story down for me from the very beginning was the writing style. For some reason for me the writing was flat and chunky, and really all of the dialogue felt very forced. Lines that were supposed to funny just didn’t really hit it for me, and the phrasing the author used was way too straight, there wasn’t really any colloquialism or anything to make the talking seem more natural. Also, sometimes the writing and phrasings the author used felt very British to me, especially with Ryders’s character and the way he spoke. This feeling was especially prevalent when he used the term of endearment ‘love’, I’m sorry but for me, American people cannot pull off that word. Maybe it was just a 'me' problem but I cringed every time he said it.

(2) The next biggest thing that threw me off was the main character, super annoying and whiney. Yes, I understand the fiancé leaving you for your cousin/ best friend is terrible, but there reaches a point when the friends should have stopped dealing with that whiney bullshit and slapped some sense into her. She was also crying ALL THE FUCKING TIME, and it was uncalled for, I understand once or twice, but it was like every chapter she had to cry about something. Another huge thing that bothered me was her problem with rich people, yes she had a bad experience with a high school boyfriend and feels she isn’t good enough that’s understandable, but not to the point where she is rejecting a man just because of the amount of money he makes. At no point does anybody of a higher class, like his friends or parents, say they disapprove of her because of her social class, but that one moment from high school has made her completely judgmental against the rich. It’s obnoxious and childish.

(3) My final thing with the story was how unrealistic it felt to me. Everything about just had me rolling my eyes and saying ‘yeah right’. I’m okay with cheesiness, especially with fluff, but there reaches a point where it passes cheesiness and just goes straight to the stupid, trope, soap opera scenario. Like the character Ryder, he was very unrealistic to me with the way he acted towards Astrid, especially the way he acted towards her after the car accident. Many of the scenarios I felt were put in there to just make the story longer and more dramatic, and that’s just not my thing.

So those are just condensed problems I had with the story (it seems long and I’m sorry, I’m the person that can go on long rants). For me as the story progressed, I just kept on getting more and more unsatisfied, and I feel like it could have been at the least 100 pages shorter, or, at least, things could have been taken out for better character development and building relationships. So that is my review on how I felt about the story, everybody has their own opinions so please don’t get too mad.

I disliked the heroine 😑 She annoyed me so much with her whinning and childish characters 🙄 And the writing didn't help, either. Not my liking. And the hero.. he's just.. mundane. Nothing special from him. So, I had to stop and move on.

This book had some strong points and some really not so strong points so will settle on rounding up to 3 stars.

It started out like a dream revenge story where the h found a handsome stranger who was prepared to pretend to be her successful, rich, upgraded date to her cheating ex fiancé’s wedding to her cousin.

It turns out the H was in fact incredibly rich and successful but the h had no idea. He liked that she wasn’t just using him for his money.

When the h found out, she was upset as she felt that she was way out of the H’s league. He fought to prove that they would be a good match.

“Why me, Ryder?” I reminded him. “I have nothing to give you in return.”
“I already have everything,” he said. “You’re the only thing I want.”
“I’m not glamorous, I’m not rich, and I’m not fit for someone like Ryder Van Woodsen. I’m not what your society or your family expects or wishes for you.”
He laughed and hugged me tighter. “On the contrary, you’re exactly what my family would wish for me. I think you will dazzle my society without even trying. And maybe you don’t know that Ryder Van Woodsen didn’t want a rich wife. He just wanted a woman who would love him even if he was poor.” Then he pulled away from me so he could look into my eyes. “And that’s you, love.”
“You may want me now, Ryder. But for how long?” I asked.
He kissed my forehead. “How about forever and after that?”

Then everything went pear shaped almost immediately after the h takes a chance on the H.

Months pass and the H realises how wrong and out of line he was.

“But damn, why do I feel so… heartbroken right now?”
“Because it’s your brain that got messed up, man,” Jake said. “Not your heart. And your heart… knows her.”

Then the h is attacked but it’s the catalyst for things being ok again. (Side note-how was anyone ok with the incredibly bad taste bachelorette party after what had nearly happened to the h. Even though I knew what was going on, the h didn’t and I cringed through that scene…a lot).

There were some charming moments in this and some OTT moments and lots of pushing and pulling from each of the characters at different points. I did skim at times.

+Enthralling, awesome, page-turner book!

+As I told you before, in my other reviews that I'm not the kind of reader who's suckers for romance, BUT THIS!!!! THIS BOOK CHANGE IT. THIS IS EXCEPTIONAL! I can't even compare this to any other romance books that I've read. SURREAL! I still thought I was dreaming after reading this! OMG

+Okay, let me give you some details about this lovely story. Not a MAJOR SPOILER. Because I want you to experience the thrill & heart wrenching experience once you started reading this book. But I must warn you! I cried BUCKETS OF TEARS, I SOB! It's rare to find a book who can KEEP ME FROM CRYING ALMOST 10 MINUTES! DAMN! THIS IS DELICIOUSLY INSANE! LOL for the term! :)

+I must warn you, if you continue to read this review I might spoil you a bit. Haha!

+What I LOVE in this book:

-MY DEAREST ADAM, he might be a little bit an ASS & stubborn one, but I like how he sticks & fight for ASH up until the end. He's a cocky gentle in the heart MONSTER. LOL! Love him! He's a book boyfriend! *blushing*

-Ash FRIENDS, including Paris & Ryder's mom. They are absolutely AWESOME! Specially Ash friends! They are the sweetest of all! TRUE FRIENDS STICK UP UNTIL THE END. They are the good example of that, after all everything ash been through. I like how the characters build there friendship. Soooo awesome!

-ASTRID JACOBSON, the precious jem! Wow! Sometimes I hate her for being so stubborn annoying gal, but most of the time I loved & admired her for being so strong! Lovely lady. :) Who deserves happiness.ü yayy! *KILEG*

-MY RYDER VAN WOODSEN!!!! GOSH GOSH GOSH!!! He's A PERFECT BOOK BOYFRIEND! *screaminghisname* *giggling&blushing* Yes. I LOVE HIM!!! I will stop spoiling just promise to read it!!!! I can't believe how the author put up a guy like him. He's too perfect to be true. I would like to meet him & marry him. Lmao! Nah! Seriously, I love every little thing about him. Inside and outside! Haha!

-Besides of the main characters, my favorite person in this story is ADAM. Amazing man. With a golden heart. Shhh... I admit I want more about him. I wish there was a story about him in other book that this author made. Haha I want to find out more.

Sometimes I'm annoyed because of the main character, a little bit redundant. BUT the storyline is perfect, I don't have any IDEA how it will end. Gosh! I sob! Imagine that?! I rarely cry for books! At 3 am I was crying. Tears of sadness & JOY! I must say that this would be my FIRST TEN STARS for the year 2016. (If they have options for that? LOL!)

Friendship, loyalty, betrayal, relationship goals. Many more. I've learned many things. I'm so happy & thankful. I owe this review to Nehjie Daylo who recommends this awesome book to me. Thank you for sharing! I'm looking forward to your reviews, soon here in GR! Please? :) lol!

Miss Jerilee Kaye!!!!! ILOVEYOUSOMUCH!!! Kudos! I want to hug you right now! Thank you so much for sharing this fantastic story! I will definitely read all your books in the near future! :)

First of all I have to thank Dora for recommending me this book. It’s really hard to find books that you enjoy so I’m really grateful for the recommendation! 💕

I really enjoyed this story, it was very sweet and cute with many plot twists that made me unable to put it down at times. Even though it’s really long (709 pages) and I rarely go for books with so many pages I was not bored at all and I had a great time reading it.

About the plot, Astrid gets cheated by her fiancé a few months before their wedding. She gets invited to the wedding she dreamt and organized but the bride is not her but her cousin… She doesn’t want to go at first but then, her cousin Adam offers to lend her some money so she can find someone to go with her as her (fake) new boyfriend. That’s when she meets Ryder, a (very handsome) bartender at the local bar. He agrees to be her boyfriend for ten thousand dollars and that’s how their story begins.

The reason I gave this book four stars is that I was annoyed by both the main characters (by the way, the side characters were great). Well, mostly by the heroine. She has the perfect guy willing to give her everything and she can’t admit that she has feelings for him. Ryder is so in love with her and it’s so obvious, but she says that she isn’t ready for another relationship after her breakup. As she said

''it’s like he was ripped out of the pages of a romance novel.''
Who would not want a guy like him???

As for Ryder, I was in love with him for the most part except when he was really rude, to say the least. If you’ve read it, you get what I mean. But overall, he’s a really cute, sweet and loyal guy and I couldn’t not include him in my book-boyfriend list!

I’m really glad I read this book and I’ll probably gonna check the rest of the author’s books. Just a question: is there a book for Nicole and/or Paris? I’d really like to read their stories!

Hello! this is a spoiler so if you haven't read KISA/KISS, I suggest you don't open this review because I love this book and I want you to enjoy it as much as I do. :)

______________________________________

I'm proud to say that this is one of my fav book in wattpad, and I'm so happy that this lovely book is going to be publish as a real one!

Astrid is really damage and I feel her not that I'm engage but I've been cheated on too. That maybe the painful heartbreak one can feel.

so come along to Ryder entering the picture during the breakdown, it's unimaginable but Ryder Van Woodsen is an angel in disguise.

The story line is perfect and complicated and full with ups and down but nevertheless, I really enjoy all the plot and memorable moment happened in the story.

The acting of all engagement is super sweet and cute and I ship them hard because they deserve each other so much!

For me, Astrid really deserves someone like Ryder because Ryder pull her out of her misery and lift up her confident to move on with her life.

But, Ryder existence comes along with a higher price because he's 100 times better than Bryan and maybe the heartbreak is 100 times painful.

And yes, the heartbreak Astrid feel when Ryder had an amnesia and forget about her, really broke me down because we can see that she truly love him.

Although Ryder forget about her, but his hear & his feeling about her never change after all that happened.

I'm really happy when they are back together and get married.

That's all I wanted to happen and THEY LIVED HAPPILY EVER AFTER. <3

But, I'm giving full marks for the sexy cover. Phewitt...

Full review: 10/03/2015

What will you do when your fiancé cheating on you with your cousin-best-friend-maid-of-honor? And, worse, your cousin is pregnant! Perghhh... it’s too much.

This is what Astrid do -- planned the perfect revenge. She’ll show them that she moved on with a better man -- handsome, smart, rich and crazy about her.

She met Ryder; a smoking hot bartender [?]. Astrid thought he was perfect for the job, and Ryder proved it right. He pulled off the role quite well. Soon, her family thinks that Astrid was really with a smoking hot guy who wears Armani suits on a daily basis, drives a luxurious McLaren, and was totally in love with her. But, what Astrid never thought that Ryder is not just a plain Ryder. Who he was, actually?

I liked this story, but not giving full marks just because of that amnesia-thingy. Sooo melodrama. But it's ok, i’m still happy with the HEA. Yay!

Nothing spectacular about the writing nor the plot but I still enjoyed reading this one. This is longer than my normal ebook reads but I didn't mind because it's a fun read. And Ryder, ohmygosh Ryder Van Woodsen is so perfect. I tried to find anything that I didn't like about him but I failed. Hmmn, take away his money, even his looks, boy, he's still lovable. He really shone in his suit with this story. Astrid, however, is an okay character - just okay. But this is still a good read. Sometimes, it's just really cute reading something this light and fangirl-dance-and-squeal worthy. :)

Grow up!

I'm usually a non-violent person, but I wanted to smack the h so many times in this book. she creates and WHINES about drama when there is none and her friends enable it. Plus she is just too stupid to even function. Gee, I wonder if Ryder Van Woodsen could be the same as my Ryder Woodsen?
The writing style seemed a bit basic; like this was how a 16 year old imagined adults dealing with adult problems. And it's really long and not in a good way. You know, you see a Kristen Ashley book and you know you're going to get a really fulfilling story- like a five course meal. You feel good after. I felt like I ate 5 courses of lettuce. I'm full, but it really doesn't feel all that good.

First of all, I wanted to say that anyone who got through the whole book deserves a golden freaking star! Three words : WAY. TOO. LONG. If you could cut all the crap out of it and get straight to the point it would be a bit more pleasant read.

I'm not really a fan of the heroine/I don't know what I want/damsel in distress/aka Astrid. I cannot even describe how infuriating she was at times with her indecisiveness and doubts, ARGGHH! I'm telling you - noooo man would give her a second thought after a brush off she served Ryder with - multiple times! Which is my next point - guys like him do not exist. They're surreal. Like Taylor Swift's sense of humor or snow on a Hawaiian beach.

About the lenght itself... seriously, why so much gabbing? It felt like all the were doing was talking about emotions, analysing feelings - repetitively. Less talking - more action! We don't need to know every single detail and thought going through that head of yours. Just as much as we don't need to read about EVERY DAMN KISS. I mean, come on! "He kissed me deeply" "He kissed me thoroughly" "He kissed me so sweet and long" etc etc etc... Yeah - we get it - you guys kissed. A LOT.

Ryder didn't bother me that much (aside from being whipped), but Astrid was an overkill in everything she did. 1. Too naive - can't believe she did not ask/had no idea who the investor was when Adam told her about him.... it was just too obvious who it was. 2. Oblivious - when she found out Ryder didn't take the checks she gave him she never, not once, wondered - how could he afford the suit, the car AND the suite. Hah... brilliant.... 3. Too freaked out - About the 38743th time I read her saying "I'm not ready for a relationship and he's a very complicated man" I thought I was going to barf. What kind of complications did she have in mind?? He didn't have an ex wife he paid alimony for, he wasn't aggressive, he loved her deeply and he was faithful. Was money the complication? Oh, please... what a lame excuse.
It made my teeth hurt from all the sweetness they were surrounded with. All people told them how perfect they are together, how much they must love each other and how happy they look. Even Geena redeemed herself in a super long monologue that made me almost fall asleep.

Thing with amnesia was too cliché , but then again, after all the reading I didn't expect anything original.... The story started good and at times I truly laughed but then I just weeped... Because I wanted this book to be something else... and it wasn't. Too bad.

5 stars

I loved everything about this book but the amnesia story line in the second half was meh. I have a love-hate relationship with that trope. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. It's all subjective at the end of the day and people may have liked the amnesia part but, for me, I found it cliche. :/ It's a good thing I loved the rest of this book (especially the grovelling omg I live for a good grovel in romance books) that I couldn't help but still rate it 5 stars, despite the trope.

Ryder honestly stole my heart. The way he wouldn't give up pursuing Astrid, no matter how many times she wanted to stay just "friends" or keep up the fake act but not to the extent of making it real was swoon worthy. As for Astrid, I liked her, but she would annoy me sometimes. I understood where she was coming from with not wanting to get hurt again, but Ryder had already proven himself to be worthy so many times imo. Tho I truly felt for her in the scene when Ryder had amnesia and she had to put up with it. I wanted to hug her. :( Overall, I thought it was an enjoyable book! <3

Loved this book, considering it was one of the firsts I read on Wattpad. It was a bit predictable at the beginning but the author threw in a few twists and turns as it went along however to come right back to a fairytale ending which personally I love even though some may call it predictable or cliche. Ryder Van Woodsen will be sure to keeps you on your toes as well as dreaming of having a man just like himself unless you've already snatched yourself a man as perfect. :) I may sound biased but what can I say I'm a hopeless romantic and a sucker for romance so if u are like me dudes and dudetts you'd love it anyways

This is actually about a 3.5 to a 3.75 star rating. I really liked this book. One of the big plus's for me is there was sex and you knew it was hot and steamy but this author didn't have to go into such great detail about their sex. It was so nice not to have to read 6 pages of their sexy time. I don't mind the sexy time in a book but when a romance can do what this author did and still get their point across then that gets a star in my book. I felt the passion and the love and they didn't have to go down and dirty in the details. Again I like the down and dirty but it's just nice sometime not to have to have a third of the book all about the sex.

This book however had it's flaws too. I will go into lots of spoilers so if you might want to read this book and if you love romance I suggest you read it then don't look beyond the spoiler link

If you read that it may sound like I hated this book and how is that possible since I gave it 4 stars. One of those stars is because we didn't have to read 6 to 10 pages of their sexual experiences every other chapter and yet we still knew they had a very passionate time. The rest of the stars is the storyline itself was really good. I love the buying her a date and a fake fiancé to her ex groom's wedding. I loved all the great twists and turns in this romance. It was anything but dull and I loved it. It would have been 5 stars had it not been for the problems I mentioned above.

I read this story at Wattpad and I literally stayed up until I read the last word. I cried, laughed, pulled my hair, hit my laptop a couple of times, got angry at Astrid for being so clueless (I love her to bits though) and swooned at Ryder. This book made me feel lots of feelings. I remember looking for a light summer read like a year or so ago and I stumbled at this and when I first finished it I was like whoa... And I was just in SHOCK on how good it was I head read it 2 times the next day and some more until the author took it down because it got published.

At first I was sad because I can't possibly buy this book because I thought my parents will freak out that I'm reading romance or whatever. Anyways, I still have to yet buy the book and I can't wait to get my hands on it...I've been thinking about this book a lot and I'll do whatever it takes to get this book in my hands.

IF the author is reading this, I just want to say I love this story. I FREAKING LOVE THIS STORY. Thank you for bringing this story to the world. I am now currently reading your other stories.

I was 12-13 when I first read this and I think people who enjoy a funny romance and some drama novel will love this. Seriously.

i sort of can guess this book comes from wattpad based on its writing style, long chapters, too many words and draggy plot.

I have problems with the style, yes. Too many exclamation marks here and there, its like i can feel the characters screaming the sentence with the whole exclamation marks going on.

The plot is draggy, like for example when Astrid has her doubts on the money and different world problem. i understand her insecurities but what the hell are u waiting for girl????? And she cries too much it annoys me.

Other than that, this book is perfect. Perfectly swoon-worthy, sweet and it gives me just enough tingling sensation when I crave for it.

Perfect book for someome who believes in fairy tales or even once believed in fairy tales. A book for those who needs love and a perfect book to mend your broken heart. Greatest book I ever read so far!

I honestly fell in love with all the characters except Bryan! Adam was bloody sexy as well as Ryder! It was amazing how jerileekaye was able to make a chapter out of wedding related stuff.

This book got me up all night and it was worth it.

It made me cry, laugh and even taught me how to stand up after a break up!
