When I needed it most, my dad’s worst enemy became my protector, making me crave him more than my next breath…but he has no idea who I really am or that I carry his child.
When a fateful plane crash leaves us stranded in the middle of nowhere, it becomes clear that billionaire Grayson Bennet doesn't recognize me. So, I give him a fake name to keep my identity hidden.
Our families have been at each other's throats for longer than I can remember. I know I'm playing with fire by remaining in his company, but I can’t resist his lure.
As we make our way back to a rescue, I often feel his eyes on me, like he really likes what he sees.
When we come under attack, Grayson protects me and promises to keep me safe until we're saved.
I can’t help but go weak under his haunting green-eyed gaze. And when we finally touch, the unbridled passion makes me want to forget every name but his. Even if he’s the enemy.
Abigail was on a plane after it crashed onto the sea,she heard someone calling for help, she ran and found a man drowning when she saved him and looked in his eyes , he was absolutely gorgeous, she saw a ring on his finger that symbolize the Bennett family ,he was Grayson one of a family that are the enemy of her family, He didn’t recognize her . They tried to communicate with the radio but they couldn’t reached, after they try to find people who survived a hit man came and shoot on their direction, she thought it was for her but he reassured her it was for him because he had to take testimony for a murdered that he saw. After they went up to the forest to catch the signals of the radio , she stopped because she was tired and he left to continue to save themselves , after some time a cougar attacked her and he saved her from it. She went to hugged him and she wanted to forget who he was she started kissing him and they finished making love, he tells her that he want to continue to know her because what he feels with her he never felt for any other woman. after a while they heard someone on the radio when he tells them their names they tells him that they don’t have Lisa on the list. And she decided to tell him the truth, when he heard her story he was furious and with his anger said that he felt nothing with her.
I don’t want to spoil the story but it became very interesting, surprises and other things happened. Highly recommended because it is a great book.
Storyline good, plot decent but several cons which are but not limited to: 1. Numerous grammatical errors: from double words in same sentence/paragraphs, wrong gender pronouns ie: her instead of her etc. 2. My biggest pet peeve was Abigail supposedly have been a lawyer, graduating from a prestigious school, was called smart but her character was portrayed poorly: she could not think what to do next in the simplest of situations. It was for example, not in book this is example only, if she just stepped in shower to wash she would stand there and ask Grayson, now what. That was grating on my nerves. 3. Grayson being brought up in the secret society was gullible at times especially where his father was concerned. Even though he is father showed him his true nature he still trusted him to a fault. His character was lacking the qualities of a strong leading man. I kept putting the book down because it was tiring and frustrating for chapter after chapter the repetitive back story and the story began loosing its appeal. Will attempt next book hoping with fingers crossed that grammar, character qualities, situations and books ability to hold readers interest has been improved.
The passion, secrets, desire, and lust between Abigail and Grayson grow deep when they are stranded after a plane crash. Grayson loses his memory of her, makes up a fake name, and does whatever it takes to get close to him and what matters most. The secret is Abigail bears Grayson’s child, and Grayson is the son of her father’s mortal enemy, and she will stop at nothing to seek vengeance.
I could feel the passion and desire throughout the entire book. The storyline was brilliantly constructed, the imagery was exceptional, and the characters were excellently portrayed. Although at first I was confused about Abigail being a lawyer, as I read further, everything started to weave and connect together. Every page read felt like a surprise. The plot twists add to the story making it more exciting and pleasurable.
I found nothing to dislike about the book, I could feel the raw passion and desire through Grayson and Abigail. I recommend this book to anyone who loves a raw, emotional, desirable romance. The book was written excellently. For these reasons, I am rating this book five stars.
I’m doing research for a Vella I’m reading, and I came upon this book, thinking that it would help me. Well, I was wrong, it sort of helped me but I figured that it was a good read anyway. This book is part of a series that involved in this book, Abigail Harrison, and Grayson Bennett. The catch between these two lovers is that they’re from rival families. What sparks the romance is a crash, where she lies about her name mostly. After that the sparks fly and they go through some rather impressive twists and turns to finish the book. There are a lot of power plays going on (can’t have it, it’s a major plot of the story, besides the romance), and feel that the twists and turns sometimes don’t fit a romance. But then again romance authors do a lot of research for their stories to be believable, and this one is no different.
But not quite there for me. Far too many grammatical errors which really become annoying and disappointing. A few too many holes or inconsistencies in the plot line (first they disabled GPS, then they used it? They go to the trouble to use a VPN, then they don’t?) I just felt things like that were sloppy. Worst of all, this book has a quasi cliffhanger. Will I read the next book in this series? Probably not. This had the potential to be so much better. Time for me to move on to something else.
When they first come into contact Grayson didn't recognize Abigail, but she knew him. In fact, she is drawn to Grayson and sparks ignite being around him. I was captivated and drawn to this story that is filled with action-packed drama as I connected with Abigal and Grayson on their journey to finding happiness.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
