You don't need to have seen the spectacular sculptures of Don Freas in person to be moved by this book. His intimate explorations of his creative process and the "material meditation" of making art are deeply inspiring for anyone endeavoring to create anything, including the making of one's life. I have purchased this book for myself and given it as gifts. No one is ever disappointed by the gift of beauty.
