Designed for emerging readers aged 6+ this collection of stories about a brother and sister will appeal to young children with siblings who will find it amusing and relatable. Unfortunately the text is too complex for many children at this stage to read independently so it misses the mark for me as an 'I am reading' option!

Not the best book for learning to read. Even I found the story annoying and the language is too advanced for early readers.

This book comes with strategies for independent readers such as: predict, monitor, question, phonics, summarize, and evaluate. It provides the reader with questions for each category to help guide them in the reading.
