"Found you!" Makoto Misumi, accompanied by his new servant, the undead wizard Shiki, is on his way to Rotsgald, when he is suddenly spirited away mid-teleport! He finds himself in an unfamiliar place, surrounded by golden light and with a very familiar voice ringing in his ears…faced with an incredibly powerful and malicious aura!
The demon-huma battle is on, with the two heroes heading the Limia-Gritonia alliance of the huma forces. Makoto has no horse in this war, but his hand maybe forced soon. Especially if the goddess saw how her chosen people are getting routed. Makoto, and the two heroes are not going to see the end of this arc unscathed.
This arc can be summed up with a tale of two warriors, one has undeserved arrogance from borrowing the power of a dragon, and the other is a swordsman with no mana but with a determined will to save the rest of her companions. The latter is Naval, and though she has no mana, has two magic items that could turn help cover a most desperate retreat.
She will be a rose that blooms and overcome the most powerful demon general that bars her friends' retreat. A rose that will only bloom once and it will be magnificent.
You know having a lich as a personal assistant seem kind of overkill, but it shows you how strong this protagonist is. Also why on earth does one end a volume on such a cliff hanger?
