Loved it - Wildfire was the perfect 3rd book in the trilogy. As a late comer to the Arcadium series I was lucky in that I didn’t have to wait for it, however it is worth the wait.
The story albeit similar to Arcadium and skylight has also shown the progression of the post apocalyptic world we are living in where our crew aren’t searching for safety, they’re being thrust into it. But is safety ever really safe?
The usual clan is back at it. Kean is reeling from the decisions of Flo at the end of Skylight but as soon as there is a hint of danger this falls away. The team must all fight for their survival and must take down everyone’s least favourite incel-vibes villain. But who will make it and who won’t?
The book is action packed and we make new friends
Along the way to get to the thrilling conclusion.
And we get a glimpse of what life can really be like on the other side of it all.
Well written and powerful storylines for our team make for a great 3rd book and a great ending to our trilogy.
Can’t wait to see what the author releases next.

Conclusion to the zombie trilogy.

Just when Flo and fam are safe in a secluded house, the Army has to show up and ruin everything. Taken forcibly from their home ostensibly for their protection, the males and the augmented kids are separated from Flo, who has to work with some new people to figure out how to find and free them from their compound.

The first 50% of the book is far too repetitive. This is the third time now that Flo et al have been confined in a government facility, and we’ve been there, done that. Adrian even shows up to join the party, because that guy just won’t die. Things pick up when we get some zombie action and a big surprise in the latter half of the book, but it really seems like the author had written herself into a corner and took a lot of short-cuts to get us to the end.
