I dislike the use of both Old Man Cable and Teen Cable. I actually don't see the point of having introduced Teen Cable at all, so I was fine when he was dead for a little while. Having both active at once seems excessive. Also, the fact the writers were never quite clear on what to do with his personality means that we're stuck with awkward scenes like the one in this issue, where both Cables lightly mock the younger one for having eaten four slices of pie.
I guess that's supposed to be funny...?
Sometimes, writers think that they're giving characters The Deadpool Treatment, but the jokes never truly land.
This issue of Cable continued a great storyline. Fast pace action with a surprising twist. The artwork was magnificent and does a wonderful job bringing the reading into the story. The next issue is a must read.
