I absolutely love Valorie Burton. Her words of encouragement are outstanding. I am never disappointed reading her books. I recommend them for anyone needing a nudge, push, or kick to the next level..
If there were six stars on the rating bar I would have chosen it. Read this book on one afternoon after bringing it home from our local library. After reading it I gave it to my wife to read and I will likely read it again before returning it to the library. Another one of those books where you get started and can't lay it down. Probably will pickup a copy off of Amazon to keep around for a reference.
It's as if the author has lived in my home since she described so many things I get 'stuck' on. You will be surprised at how close to home the author gets by describing the things that people (all of us) get hung up on. Many times to our own detriment. Check it out, you won't be sorry you did.
I started this book once last year. Made it about 25% because I just couldn't get into it. And I struggled again this time around and I honestly can't say why.
I enjoyed the book. The simplicity of the messages and Bible references. I enjoyed that you could use this as a devotional if you chose ... with a declaration and key points at the start of every chapter and a prayer at the end.
I enjoyed her writing style. With just enough enjoyable stories and antidotes mixed in with her message to entertain or make you think.
Great messages and some great tips to help with my "Year of Yes" and centering my life and choices around God.
Excellent resource for figuring out, what to do next, professionally. As an at home mom, getting ready to become an empty nester, I feel this book helps me to figure out what I want to pursue in the next chapter of life.
