Life for Zachriel had always been filled with unexpected twists and turns. One would think that being resurrected would be a cause for celebration, but not so much. From the moment he awoke, his existence had been a maelstrom of chaos and instability. All he wanted to do was reunite with his family. Oh, and deal with the Horseman of the Apocalypse. However, fate had other plans when he crossed paths with her, a beautiful little creature armed with a blade as sharp as her wit. He never intended to entangle her in his web of turmoil, but an inexplicable force compelled him to be near her. As the drama unfolds, this fiery little demon becomes his beacon of light amidst the encroaching darkness. Perhaps, against all odds, they could navigate the treacherous path together... that is, if she doesn't kill him first.
Zayoni's life has been a living nightmare. After witnessing the brutal murder of her parents and enduring a life of captivity, being treated as nothing more than livestock for the sake of a murderer's freedom has left her a little salty, to say the least. The angels she's met are no better than the demons she's forced to hunt, and she vowed to make each one pay with her blade and the searing power of her magic. That is until she meets him, with his stupid, dimpled smile and irresistible charm. Despite that, she doesn't want anything to do with him and his drama. But fate has a twisted sense of humor, revealing prophecies as absurd as the archangel's misguided notions of peace between Heaven and Hell. As nightmares threaten to consume them both in a raging inferno, they realize that their only chance of survival lies in facing the flames together.
The Forsaken is the continuation of where we last left off in The Fallen. Told in dual POV. Contains steamy scenes and violence. It’s highly recommended you read the books in order. Enjoy the ride!
Despite harboring no dislike for the story, I encountered challenges in maintaining engagement and focus. While I may consider revisiting it in the future, my disconnect arose from book two's departure from the immediate continuation of the previous installment. Throughout my reading, I eagerly awaited that connection, which regrettably manifested only around chapter 14. Although the overall story plot is compelling, it didn't manage to sustain my interest effectively. Nevertheless, I remain optimistic about the next installment in this series.
I'm glad this author has given us a a tale of love, action and erotica filled with sexy angels and demons. The story flow was perfectly paced and gave us a glimpses and continuation of the first book also with addition of new characters that I'm also hoping to get their own book soon. This is about Zachrial the brother of enzo who we met in the first book but now Zachrial has his body back. The twist and turns of this book kept me engaged and it was also funny throughout. Can't wait for the next book.
Well I must say that I did not see that ending coming. At first I didn't understand why the author brought another story into what was to be a sequel. However, she is giving the readers context to understand all sides leading up to the present. Now I must say without giving any spoilers away, I didn't like Michael's outcome..just sayin. I like the series and am looking forward to that continuation of the ending that had me saying...oh wow.. Well Done Ms. Wynters....
Loved it! Purchased it the moment I got a notification that it was available and finished it in a weekend. This is absolutely one of my fave romance series, this is right up there with K. Alex Walker for me. I love the humor and fast paced writing, this series is perfect to cozy up and read through this winter. Can't wait for the third book!
This was a good book. The author did a good job of keeping the focus on the new leading couple and developing their story, before switching to our beloved Enzo and Maleah. But this book made me also see how Maleah is lacking in her role as the divinity. But there was so much chaos I felt like I was watching an episode of supernatural. It’s crazy how all this stuff was happening and humans were just living or dying makes me wonder what’s going on in the spiritual realm of reality lol. This book was a good read definitely worth the time I spent reading you won’t be disappointed. I gave 4 stars for the chaos, it was entirely too much
Black cat gf and golden retriever bf will always rule me. Zayoni and Zachriel are a golden duo. Cute, funny, adorable, and hot. It’s lust at first sight for sure, but once the love comes it’s just so adorable. I loved this book! It got me out of a slump and made me remember all the reasons why paranormal romance is my fav genre. The witty, present day language and personality types were fun and refreshing.
Absolutely loved this installment! Zach is my favorite, I mean I love Enzo too, but there is just something about Zach. I loved how Zach and Zay were the main focus in this book and how all the characters came together at the end. I love the cliff hanger but man now I’m itching for the next book!! 😩😩
So good, in fact I think this ought to be made into a movie or at the least have an audible version. I want give anything away, suffice to say that Forsaken picks up right where Fallen left, but somehow funnier twistier and spicier than book one. I can’t wait to read the next instalment!
This book is so full of twists and turns, I don't know where to begin. I need to reread it again, and this time, take notes. 😄 And, the surprise at the end, OMG! I can't wait for the final book that ties everything together. No spoilers here. Just get ready for a roller-coaster ride.
Great story! This just picked up where the last one left off and hit the ground running. I loved Zay and Zac. If two beings ever deserved one another, these two were it. Non-stop action, hot romance, family, friends and crazy enemies. Loved it and ready for book 3.
Omg What a tale this is , This story has taken me through so many emotions Mostly laughter Might I add. I simply love where this story is going I can't wait to continue on but it's just so long Anyway kudos to the author well done I'm definitely a fan of your work
I hope you all enjoy the second installment to my trilogy, The Fallen! I think it’s pretty great and expands the word a little more. I appreciate everyone who loved my very first book. Your kind words help keep me inspired to continue this journey ☺️☺️
This book had me spellbound. It is so well written, it is intriguing, captivating and yet funny at times. The many twists and turns of this story had me anxious for them both. Fantastic.
Zachriel and Zayoni were taken on a journey no one would've thought was survivable. The war gearing up between heaven and hell. Their relationship was one of pure love, magic had no way of slipping in, even though it was used throughout their journey.
This is a wonderful love story. I like the integration of biblical characters. I also love the beauty of these mocha women. Lol. Zachriel has become one of my favorite mmcs.
This is not a romance book. It is too complex and layered and so much more than just a romance novel. This belongs in a genre all its own. This is a transformative piece of literature. Simply Amazing!!
This is a wonderful book. I would have know know you where new. The worlds were flushed out and built so well. I love all the characters. Have women of color was just the iceing on the cake. I can't wait for book 3 hopefully soon. I very rarely leave reveiws.
This was just as good if not better than the first one. I think it edges out the first one by a smidgen. So if you liked that one at all, you’ll enjoy this one as well!
