Good stories but words got in the way
I got the vibe that the books were written to bash police officers, though it did lighten up on the last one. Also adults swilling wine and using recreational drugs to try and prove that they do not lead to hard substance abuse. Other than that, good plots, good story lines.

Good but…
I enjoyed the books, but I think it went a little overboard on cop hating, and over aggressive women. Soften a little.
