An RHS Anthology. Meet Me At Midnight is an anthology of tales from 36 authors that revolve around the bewitching hour, where magic, mystery, and untold possibilities converge. Presented in a variety of genres, including fantasy, comedy, mystery, contemporary, romance, paranormal, and thriller, this anthology invites you to explore the enigmatic realm that unfolds when the clock strikes twelve. But be warned. These stories, some whimsical, some romantic, and some downright creepy, will keep you up dreaming long after the world falls asleep.
This anthology seriously has something for everyone. While all the stories are centered around midnight, there are so many different adventures. ie: Heidi Wilson’s delightful The Girl in the Garden which is a sweet Cinderella retelling with all the magic of second-chance romance, royalty, and witty banter; Amy Fortenberry’s laugh-out-loud Magnolia Goes to Jail was the most entertaining read; Haylie Hanson’s creepy gothic The All Hallows Club was atmospheric and hang-on-to-your-seat; Dana Black’s cosy bakery-inspired A Crumble of Magic was magical and immersive...plus 32 more entertaining stories.

* I've read The Next Chapter by Cait Marie and my review is for that alone. *
This short story lets us visit Lila and Gavin five years after the events of "The Last Summer". It's lovely to spend some time with the characters again, but I wished it had been a bit longer! It would have been wonderful to see more of their lifes during these five years, but at least we get to see how they imagine their future together!
* I received an ARC from the author and I'm giving my honest review. *
I've read the short story The Next Chapter, which is part of this anthology. My review only concerns this particular story.
I've enjoyed reading Lila and Gavin's story so much, that I knew I absolutely had to read The Next Chapter too. And indeed, it's just the most perfect next chapter in their story. It's sweet and reads fluently. I always love it when I get to return to characters I know and adore. This story is no different. There are also lots of references to the main story, perfect to refresh your memory. So if you loved The Last Summer and The First Holidays, what are you waiting for? Just read The Next Chapter already 😉
A collection of 36 short stories. Approximately 2-4 from each genre. Everything from cozy mysteries, to fantasy, horror, contemporary fiction, sci-fi and more!
A splendor of stories! I was completely blown away by the stories in this anthology. All centered around the midnight hour and each taking on the personality of their author. From fantasy, romance, mystery, and horror, there is something for every reader within these pages. What a talented bunch! I am looking forward to seeing what my fellow authors release in the future.

My favourites?
Heidi Wilson’s delightful The Girl in the Garden which is a sweet Cinderella retelling with all the magic of second-chance romance, royalty, and witty banter.
Amy Fortenberry’s laugh-out-loud Magnolia Goes to Jail was the most entertaining read. I cannot remember the last time a story had me hopelessly giggling and wondering what came next.
Haylie Hanson’s creepy gothic The All Hallows Club was atmospheric and hang-on-to-your-seat. The twist at the end was also really fun.
Dana Black’s cosy bakery-inspired A Crumble of Magic was magical and immersive. I loved the main character! And any story that involves baked goods has me hooked.
This entire anthology is such a fun idea. It brings together new and blossoming authors, and it really gives the reader a chance to see so many different styles of writing. I read A Witch With A Curfew, so that's going to be what my review reflects!
The story was extremely cute. I really enjoyed the main perspective character, and the author (Fallon Willoughby) managed to bring a real depth of feeling by the end. I won't say too much on it for spoilers, but it had me feeling sad, happy, and laughing out loud. I would really recommend checking it out, as well as the rest of the shorts in the book! I'm excited that I'll have a chance to read through and enjoy them all throughout the month!
I hope to update this review over time, but I didn't want to wait until I read ALL the stories to write a review.
I picked this book up because my friend Jennifer Dyer wrote a story in it. I hadn't read it and I wanted to be able to see what new cozy fantasy stuff she was writing. Her story The Midnight Requirement was absolutely adorable! It's funny and sweet and is such a great way to lift your spirits with a less than 1 hour read. I highly recommend it!
Nice collection of short stories. A mixture of genres, so you have something for everyone. A nice book when you don’t have a lot of time but still want to get your reading in
This was a fun anthology! I enjoyed a lot of the stories, and it was fun to dip my toes into genres I wouldn't normally read. There were quite a few that really stood out to me! My favorites were "The Midnight Requirement" by Jennifer Dyer, "A Crumble of Magic" by Dana Black, and "Portrait of a Vampire" by Hayley Hawthorne. I also enjoy "The All Hallows Club" by Haylie Hanson, "The Girl who Wished" by Shannon McPherson, "The Girl in the Garden" by Heidi Wilson, and "Endlessly Yours" by Joelene C. Brown.
