the feud of the Zuckerman and Abbott

Celia is a widower who best friend is getting married today and she is hoping to find her 2nd love. She says a prayer before Amanda’s wedding. She was in the wedding line up and was alone. This great looking cowboy that caught her eye earlier that day, he was Finn best man came and stood by Celia and said you need a partner. She knew he looked familiar but wasn’t for sure till he stood beside her. Zach Zuckerman. Her family back to her great grandparents, the Abbott’s had been feuding with the Zuckerman and it was so far back that she was not sure why!
As they both over time start dating and try not telling their family was not working because if they went out people would end up telling their families.
Zach went to go talk to his brother’s but that did not go over good at all. They told Zach he had to pick the family or Celia!
Celia went to talk to her brother’s and they were happy for them.
The feud had gotten to his dad and that is when his dad told him he was not part of the family or welcome there till he quit seeing Celia. So Zach stopped talking to Celia.
Will this feud keep them separated or will love win.

Since the very beginning of this series, Celia has been one of my favorite characters. Her happy, nurturing personality has seen Whiskey Mountain Lodge through some of its toughest times. I’ve been wanting to see her get another shot at happiness for quite some time now, and she gets it in a cowboy version of Romeo and Juliet. For about a century Abbotts have been taught to hate Zuckermans and Zuckermans have been taught to hate Abbotts. No one is even quite sure what started the feud, but Celia and Zach are determined it will end with them. I don’t want to see this series conclude. I realize that we’ve now matched up all the inhabitants of Whiskey Mountain Lodge, but I want to keep coming back here for Christmas for years and years to come. This story carries such a beautiful message of forgiveness and grace. I think that message embodies everything the Whiskey Mountain Lodge annual traditions are all about.

This is the first book I have read in the Coral Canyon series. I like that it is a romance for a more mature couple in their 50's. So, yes you can find love, romance, and marriage after 40. Lol.

I thought the theme of a century old family feud was interesting, especially in this day and age. Zach's family was unforgiving and unreasonable to the point of frustration. That was the only part of the book where I felt like I was missing a back story.

I was able to keep up with Zach, Celia, their kids, and their siblings. When the book for into the Whittaker's and the Everett's, that is when a slight bit of confusion kicked in for me. There are too many people to keep up with in Coral Canyon.

Everyone in this book seemed to be falling in love. It was a very wholesome, romantic, sweet, faith based book. It was a nice change of pace from things going on in the world today.

I voluntarily read and reviewed this book received from the author.

Celia is a character who has been in the background of all of the previous books in the series. She is the personal chef for the Whiskey Mountain Lodge and is known for her excellent cooking and her nurturing spirit. She is one of my favorite characters and I was delighted that she was getting her chance at a happily-ever-after in this book but it was not without its challenges. Celia had to walk the aisle with the best man at her best friend's wedding. There was an instant attraction between them but with a closer look she realized that Zach was her deceased husband's former best friend--and he was still quite handsome even 25 years after she last saw him. The men had lost touch when she married her husband because of a feud between her family and Zach's that had been going on for generations. This story deals with the challenges of finding love a second time and with the theme of forgiveness. It had a few really sad moments where I shed a few tears but it also was quite romantic and I really loved the story! Highly recommend! I was entrusted with a copy of this book by the author and this is my voluntary and honest review.

Celia has been a widow for over 20 years and spent that time focusing on raising her two girls not dating. She has not dated anyone since her husband died. Zach is divorced and has not really dated in 15 years. They meet at the wedding of their best friends Amanda and Finn. Then they realize that their families have been feuding for almost 100 years over some water rights, but no one is really sure anymore. Neither believes that this feud is really still going on until they start dating and their families find out. Celia's family has been trying to end this for years but Zach's family is full of hate for her family and tells him to quit dating her. Will they be able to build a relationship even though his family still hates her family? Will Zach's brother come between them? Will Zach choose his family or Celia?

As a continuation of a series, this book is great. I had been hoping Celia would get her own story but was not expecting it to be with a man from a family that her own family has been having a very ugly feud with for close to one hundred years. I liked that Celia and Zach couldn't have cared less about the feud but since they both deeply loved their siblings they were reluctant to let them know they were dating each other. What can they do? Discovering the root cause of the feud and then finding a way to peacefully resolve the issue seems like such a good idea. Now to get everyone on board with the idea. Especially one particularly very angry brother. Let's see if they can find a way to achieve peace and get their own chance at HEA with each other.

Her Cowboy Billionaire Best Man

Celia was the Matron of Honor for Amanda's wedding and Zach was the Best Man for Finn. Zach so didn't want to be there but was, Celia was a bit sad and lonely although happy for her best friend. When they saw each other they were intrigued, until they realized they were from families that had a very long time feud between them. As the day wore on Zach thought he really needed to get a number for this beautiful woman. Would they get together only to determine there was too much discord between the families to go ever make it past a first date, or would they throw caution to the wind and make a life long commitment? Another opportunity for love the second time around!

Waiting for Fate

Zach and Celia meet at the wedding of their best friends, Amanda and Finn. They are immediately attracted to each other. But, they come from feuding families, 100 years worth of a feud. So although they are mature, Christian and loving, their immediate families are a different story. Parents and siblings are tough nuts to crack. Zach has three adult children, Celia has two. Zach is divorced, but close to his children. Celia is a widow with two loving adult daughters. It is a true joy to watch this sweet couple meld their families and overcome the long overdue feud. There are some twists and turns in their relationship, but overall, communication and love win the day.

Can a Family Feud Stop This Romance?

Celia, Coral Canyon Lodge's Cook, meets someone, who sparks her interest. But will the Past ruin this possible 💖? You'll have to read this Great, Engrossing, Western, Romance to find out! I was very happy to see Celia finally get her story, in this "Whittaker Family Novel 8"!

Liz Isaacson closes out, this wonderful "Christmas at Coral Canyon" series, with a unique shared background, for the hero & heroine. I read the whole Story through in one sitting. The characters, their situations, & emotions are very relatable, even with the hero being a billionaire. I Highly Recommend "Her Cowboy Billionaire Best Man"! 💖📓📖

Another great Christmas in Coral Canyon! Celia, a widow, wonders if she is too old to date and maybe find love like her friend that is getting married. When she sees the best man, Zach, at the wedding she thinks she might want to get to know him better. But they both realize that their families have a long standing feud. Will their love be enough for the families to move on from the past? I love these books where the main characters are older and there is always some different angle. Whether it be adoption, deafness, or blended families. Don’t miss this new short-read from Liz Isaacson!

Her Cowboy Billionaire Best Man is another great story of the Coral Canyon family, the Whittaker's. This story centers around Cecila and Zach, Finn's best friend. They met at Finn and Amanda's wedding but soon seen they knew each other since they were young. Actually their families did not get along at all. They were like the Hatfields and the McCoys. So you know this story is going to have it's fair share of ups and downs. So by the Christmas Eve gathering at Whiskey Mountain Lodge, there had been 2 weddings and a slew of newborn babies added to the families. It just keeps the love these families have forming a tighter bond with each and every addition.

Quick read, clean romance. Finally Celia gets her turn for romance in this series. She has been the stalwart reliable character in the background of all the other books. I liked Zach until he turned lame but eventually he comes out of it. I loved the supportive nature of their children. I also liked that the extended family became less dysfunctional over the course of the book.

There are obvious christian themes through out the book. Characters pray often and there is an underlying theme of forgiveness.

Imagine a feud that started 100 years ago and being continued even though most have no idea why it started. This is the situation Zach and Celia find themselves in. His family continues to be angry. When I pick up a Liz Isaacson book, I have certain expectations: strong characters, interesting story line, romance and a few twists. This book meet those expectations. I loved that this story involved mature characters. It was fun to watch them try to balance parents, siblings, children and friends. I recommend this book.

I love second time around romances. The whole series has been so enjoyable and now it’s time for Celia to find love. Unfortunately, wanting to fall in love with the best man at Finn and Amanda’s wedding isn’t as straightforward as if should be. Zach Zucherman is a divorced ranch owner with three children and is instantly attracted to Celia, until he discovers she’s an Abbott and his family has been feuding with hers for over a hundred years. Can they work it out? It’s a delightful book to read.

Celia's time for happiness

Celia is forever taking care of everyone... It's her time to shine! Zach, and his family issues, made me laugh and cry so many times! This was such An awesome book in an amazing series! As usual, I groaned when I was 8 books, but couldn't stop reading them and I wish there were more. I love the real life problems in this one and the next series, the Hammonds! Liz you are both cruel, for sucking me into these, and amazing for the great stories you share!

An amazing addition to a wonderful series, this standalone was perfect. It is a clean engaging story that had me engaged with twists and turns, a long time family feud, and enough angst and love that kept me addicted from start to finish.  The characters were interesting, well developed with great chemistry and added cameos from previous characters. I voluntarily read and reviewed this ARC and own and recommend the whole series.

Romance, clean; series but stand alone read
A long standing family feud is the drama that will keep apart this couple, who were attracted to each other at first glance until they realize who each other are, and that the feud stands between them. Well done, and their attraction, wonderful gradual opening of their hearts as they navigate the family circumstances and realize they are more important than a feud.
More of a 3.5 for me as a reader, and loved it.

Will a century long feud keep them apart.

He was best man at her best friend's wedding. He looked familiar but she couldn't quite place him. Then she heard his name. Their families had been feuding for nearly 100 years. No one remembered why but the have was still there.
Zach said he got to decide who he loved. Celia was afraid family ties were too deep.
Another wonderful story about people you would like to meet and get to know

Just have a little faith!

A whispered prayer will be answered in God's timing. Forgiveness has more power than animosity and anger. It also is more stressful when angry. Imagine passing this hatred from generation to generation for almost a hundred years! I highly recommend this book and author. I am looking forward to reading more of her work! Seems as if all her stories are teachable.

This is a review of an ARC: Zach and Celia's family farms are next door to each other. Their families have had a feud going for over 100 years. Zach distances himself from his family farm due to their unforgiveness and hard-heartedness. When he and Celia fall for each other, they pray that their families find forgiveness. Will their relationship overcome the challenges set before them?

Celia and Zach meet at Finn and Amanda's wedding. At first sight they're both keen to meet the other, until they realize who they are, and the feud rears its ugly head.
It's lovely to read a romance about older people, and to see they have the same insecurities as younger ones.

I do love a happily ever after!

I loved how Zach and Celia were able to overcome their fears and awkwardness and accept that they weren’t too old to date. The characters were well developed and I really liked them. I liked that Celia’s brothers were willing to help her, and that Zach’s brother truly wanted for him to be happy.

What a wonderful story. I would say I am amazed, but I've come to expect this author's books to be superb, and this one is no exception. I believe it is my favorite one in this series - so far! I loved that the story encompasses all age groups, and that problems and situations affect all age groups. I strongly urge you to read this book. It is a lovely journey.

I enjoyed reading the romance of Celia who catches the eye of handsome cowboy Zach! Their families have feuded for years and while Celia's brothers want her to be happy, Zack's family does not like this new romance! I recommend this romantic story of a couple with adult children. I received a complimentary e-book from the author.

Her Cowboy Billionaire Best Man

Another Whittaker novel. This involves two chefs who reunite at another Whittaker wedding. The twist this time is there is a long time feud between families. This was an interesting approach to the same basic plot as the previous books in the series.

Celia has been such a staple figure in all of these Whittaker/Everett books and it’s thrilling to see her get a book and romance of her own. The long time feud between families was a great thread woven it. It was enticing and sobering.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

Feuds, are they still relevant?

What a great story. You would think in our modern times there would no longer be such things as 97 year old family feuds. These two meet each other and realize just after the chemistry kicks in, that their families have a problem. Read how they deal with it.

Overall a wonderfully written series !

I almost didn't continue to read this series when a book early on was discouraging but decided to give it one more chance and glad I did. A wonderful series filled with so much love and faith. Each book reminds us of the power of prayer . These books are great reminders of family values.

I listened to this is an audiobook on YouTube. The storyline was OK, and pretty predictable. It was an easy listen, and the best part was the narrator. I’m not sure I’ll listen to any more from this series. This is the second one and I wanted to give it another try. I prefer more mystery, suspense, police work, all framed around a Christian writing style, and maybe with a little romance.
