This book launched my career as a strategic planner. I didn’t even know I could make a career out of planning at the time I read this. But the principles described were logical, inspired, and basically a step-by-step guide on how to be a big picture thinker / visionary. It inspired me to find a role that incorporated those skills and mindset, and as a result I was able to move from entry-level to head of a region within 4 years because there is a great need for big picture thinking in many fields. I’d love to find a copy, having long ago passed mine forward to another professional thought leader at the start of her career.
