I started to read this. I was ready for a good book from Mike, as always. But it turned out to be so much more. Mike wove a great story about what could have been the for all of us. But he led us through to the end without fail with a cure.
I was ready to be upset because with such a great story many authors end their novels too quickly. But not Mike. Not this time.

I read this all the way through nonstop from book 1 to book 6 and enjoyed every minute! It’s a different take on the End of The World as We Know It genre which sparked my interest in the first place and the strong characters, desperate situations and triumphant moments which kept me here. If you’re looking for something to be engrossed in, this is it! Enjoy the ride.
Each book in the set follows the other so you want to read these in order BUT you WANT to read them all! This story was well weaved into a horrific yet uplifting tale of the good and the worst of mankind with such a rich and impressive detail. I read them straight through until finished and sad it finally ended. The last book was as good as the beginning with a heartwarming and tidy end.
What a series that will keep you up at night reading A strange thing is destroying everything in its path. What will all the people do, where will they go. Each page will have you feeling a part of all the emotions that the survivors have to deal with. Can’t wait for the next series by these two outstanding authors.
This series is amazing. I loved these books. The characters are really well done and so easy to identify with. No special forces guys with hi tech equipment to save the day. Just regular people and a couple of scientists doing their best with what they can find. It's also probably one of the most terrifying types of apocalypse I've read about.
I read trough half of this group of books and just not keep going. It is a bunch of idiots going about the end of the world like it’s either a party or they are all that matters with the few good people being weak minded and not able to fight back. I just couldn’t keep on going.
Good series, great character development. The issues I have are numerous though. Cities that someone “traveled through” that are hundreds of miles away from any of the numerous ways to get to a location, jumping around too much, the whole Given thing could have been left out entirely, and the final book seemed rushed. Especially the last 15 chapters or so.
I thought this book was interesting but I didn't like the way it jumped from one group to the next. I found that it didn't flow and tie into the next cha. It was Okay but I didn't really enjoy it as much as I have others.
Just.... Too much.... Too long.... Some stories were full of to many details that really didn't matter. Seemed to be added just to make the book longer. I love reading Mr. Kraus but I had to make myself finish this book.
It took me longer to read this 6 book series than it would do normally! I did enjoy it but got a bit confused once in a while the way it jumped from place to place , ( that's a good thing ) I like that it was different in a good way! Thank you for the hrs of distraction.
I so much enjoyed this series. It was different than many other apocalyptic stories I have read. It was well written and had many twists, turns, and surprises throughout. It was hard to put it down.
