When a video game-loving office worker reincarnates as Mizarie Kraphtia, the villainess of an otome game, she’s determined to have a better life than the original character. Yet despite her best efforts, the game self-corrects and leads Mizarie to an ending where she’s sentenced to exile—just what she was hoping to avoid. There’s a twist, She had no idea her game-breaking skill could summon a...modern RV?!
Mizarie now decides to make the most of her exile and sets out on a journey with her beloved cat, Ohagi. Not only does she get to drive around the world, but she gains experience as she goes, unlocking convenient features like a bathroom, kitchen, and more for her RV! Lighting campfires and cooking outdoors like she always dreamed of doing in her last life, Mizarie takes her time exploring this new fantastical setting with her adorable feline travel companion. Her storyline in the otome game may be over, but her leisurely vacation in exile is just getting started!
We don’t see the life of the “villainess” as she tried to not be treated like garbage and picked on, we only see after her humiliation scene where the prince breaks off the engagement and she escapes using her RV “skill”.
Honestly, the only part I wanted to see more of was what her level ups would be to the RV as she drove around aimlessly.
And after being told to keep it a secret, some rather unsavory characters who have a good reason to hold a grudge know her skill. As do countless others who can easily flap their gums and let others hear about her special skill.
Sigh.
Not bad, but not really great either. Good if you want something extremely chill and relaxed.
2, I wasn’t wowed like I had hoped, stars.

A fairly standard addition to the reincarnated and taking an easy life genre although it doesn't really involve adventuring or some kind of craft, just camping. The world is standard light novel fantasy setting as well. The characters likeable, but not overly complicated. The only thing that sets it apart is the skill of the MC: summoning a RV although one that is sturdy enough to go off road. It is a bit of an odd skill for a fantasy, but I don't mind it too much in stories like this. It does lack interesting characters which is ultimately what makes me enjoy take it easy stories like say "I've Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level". All in all, a decently entertaining story, but nothing more.
This story starts like most of the genre: the prince casts the villainess aside for another woman. Like a great many in this genre, she is thrilled to be cast aside and leaves in a hurry. This heroine has a special talent...and RV. After picking up a few things, and collecting her cat, she's off to see the world! She is a bit clueless about the real world [but isn't that to be expected from a princess candidate?] and loves camping!
The cast of characters thus far is cute and the story is fun and happy.
This book is exactly what it says on the tin. It's a cozy slice-of-life adventure where the main character has an awesome (somewhat overpowered) ability to summon and drive an RV anywhere. It's basically a power fantasy that doesn't go overboard. MC just has a good time.
There is no tension, no big drama, no great danger to the MC. Any conflicts are resolved within a few paragraphs. If you want more, this series is not for you.
The last thing to note is that the series is about 60% food prep and eating. It is honestly impressive how much of it the author managed to stuff into this text. I'm not a food person, so I don't appreciate those parts much, but there was enough story to keep it from becoming boring.
Combining several things I loved about “Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear” & “Campfire Cooking in Another World With My Absurd Skill”, “RVing My Way Into Exile with My Beloved Cat: This Villainess is Trippin’” is a new favourite of mine!
While the world building is pretty standard for the genre, it was executed quite well. The characters are incredible charming & I also loved the slow, cozy vibes.
The illustrations were gorgeous, but I particularly love the travel log map with the little chibi versions of the characters!
My one gripe is that there’s only two volumes out so far!! Will immediately be reading book 2.
I quite like the "cozy," "slice-of-life" and/or "slow life" genres. I also like the "villainous noble girl" genre. So I really thought I'd like this one but I found it pretty 3.5-ish.
In the first place, it's in first person, which is not my cup of tea. It also has some weird pacing, where things are super fast or pretty slow. And the deus ex RV was a bit odder than I thought it would be.
A reasonable time passer, but nothing I'll be waiting for the next book particularly.
A somewhat lighthearted tale about a girl who can summon a modern RV. I'm not kidding. It is a lot better than that sounds. I love the humor of this, I love how descriptive the author is when she is talking about food or environments, this is always such an easy read. I am sure there will be danger along the way, but right now I am just enjoying this very chill isakai.
Sometimes you get reincarnated as the villain character in an otome game, but you're fine because you decide to take your exile and summon your RV to go and have adventures with your cat, the most important person in your life. Is there much braining required here? Not even remotely. Is it fun? Absolutely. Great library read.
