What would it feel like to live your dream life? Is it really so hard and tiring to become a real success?Hi, my name is Fiona Ferris and I have made it my life's work to become a 'chic success', the soft way. The feminine way. The easy and fun way. I love to make things happen, but I want it to be light and playful too. Life is too short to do anything unpleasant or difficult! If you too want to be 'a success story' but can't, honestly, really be bothered doing it the hard, boring, dry, way, this petite book is for you. In it I go through one-hundred of my favourite ways to motivate yourself, inspire great actions, and make your life fabulous and fun.I look forward to sharing both my mindset and practical tips with you - please join me!xx Fiona
I love to write books about living a fabulous life without spending a lot of money.
I adore mindset work and how we get to be happier and more successful just from looking at things from a different angle. We get to change our circumstances if we want to, and change our thoughts as well.
My goal when I write my books is to provide inspiration, ideas, and reminders for my readers so that they can wear their rose-tinted sunglasses as they live their life. Just like I do!
I have found that everything works out better when you are positive as much as possible. When you expect things to work out for the best. When you have gratitude for all you have. And when you are always looking at how to make your life better, and richer (in all ways). In doing all these things you are elevating the happiness levels of those around you as well as yourself.
Of course life isn't perfect and we all go through sad or difficult times, however I believe when we are starting from a base level of positivity, it makes those times easier to bear.
I love the saying attributed to Queen Elizabeth II's private secretary, who told her that her job was to spread a carpet of happiness wherever she went. I have taken this on as my own life's motto and with my writing too.
I hope you enjoy reading my books and get loads of golden nuggets from them. Happy reading and please let me know your thoughts or leave a review!
I think I have all Fiona's books and, in general, I very much enjoy them. I love her ideas and often put a book down and take immediate action to perk myself up and improve my mood. Recently, I have found the books to be a bit "same-y," (although still enjoyable) i.e. the same ideas dressed up with a different book title and coming from a slightly different angle (e.g. Glam vs European Inspired etc.) however, I really liked this one. I like the practical tips for creating your own inspiration, and the motivation to keep going and do your own thing. In a world where we can very easily be dragged down by all around us I think we need a few more Fionas, (even if she is a "cat person" and I do find her a bit "fluffy" at times, and I know she won't mind me saying that because she owns it and is happy to be herself, just as she encourages us all to do the same.)
This is such a cute little book full of great tips. It's a quick read and the messages in it will stick with you forever. A friend of mine gave me this book - and I quickly realized upon reading it that I already live many of the tips that Ms. Ferris writes about. So I guess I'm on the right track! I will be reading more of Ms. Ferris' books - they are fun and uplifting.
I’d I’ve read plenty! Helps me slow my life down, which not only do I need, but also want. Perfect redirect in my thinking, and as such, k shall continue on the journey. Thanks bunches!
I enjoyed the playful, inspiring nature of this book and had fun conjuring up images of my future higher-level self. Another great read from Fiona. Thank you!
