Sometimes the past is best left forgotten…or at least that’s what I’m learning.
The men I love lied to me…but I can’t seem to let them go.
And Greyson’s enemies are determined to destroy us all, once and forever.
To survive, Sebastian, Carter, and Jack will have to join Greyson and his Jackals…even though they thought they left their criminal past behind forever when they joined the NHL.
When Greyson demands they prove themselves to him, it turns out that despite their years of living as pampered superstars…they still know how to fight, torture and kill.
The only thing the four of them agree on is…me.
The mafia boss and the three NHL stars will do anything to protect me…even work together.
My memories are slowly returning of how the five of us once formed our own strange little family though…
Can we find our way back to the way we used to be so we can have the future I’m so desperate for?
Because I’m learning that the only thing I want more than my memories, is all of them…forever.
I'm a wife, mother, and author! Writing has always been a passion for me, and publishing my first series is a dream come true. I drink too much caffeine, never sleep, and my imagination is always churning out ideas. Eva and her men have been in my head for awhile, and I'm so glad to finally take you with me on this journey!
Our Pucking Way is book two in the Rich Demons of Hockey series by C.R. Jane and May Dawson. This is the conclusion to Kennedy, Greyson, Sebastian, Carter and Jack’s story. You need to have read the first book before this one.
This book starts up right where the previous one left off. The four men learn quickly that they need to work together to protect the woman they love. But that doesn’t mean there won’t be any hijinks between them which also includes paybacks!
Little by little, Kennedy gets parts of her memories back which for the most part, broke my heart because most of her memories weren’t good ones. Except for the ones that included her men. But now, she is in danger. They are trying to figure out who is behind it which means they need to put the past behind them. I do admit that at times Greyson made it hard to love him. He wanted things his way and his way only. By the end of the book, they finally do figure things out though.
“I met her gaze, searching for any sign of the girl I wanted to protect, but instead, I saw the resolve of a woman who had come too far to turn way now. Her words, who we were, lit a glow of warmth in my chest.”
Despite the over protectiveness of the guys, Kennedy has grown into a strong woman. A woman who knows what she wants. These are the men she loves and she needs them all together to be the family she dreams of. This book kept me turning the pages. I needed to see how it all turned out. This duet was a great introduction to these two authors and I look forward to looking through their other work.
Working at the Asheville Demons arena and reconnecting with her guys has helped Kennedy‘s memories begin to resurface. However, her proximity to Greyson, Sebastian, Carter, and Jack, once again, puts her in danger.
Despite having walked away from the Jackals in order to keep her safe, now, an alliance with them may be the only way to do just that.
The conclusion to the Rich Demons of Hockey duet had all the things. We saw the guys forgive one another and move forward. Kennedy was able to heal from her past trauma, as well as from the residual pain and anger she harbored toward the guys from her feelings of betrayal and abandonment.
This would have probably been a sufficient storyline, but we also had layers of suspense and a metric fuckton of spice. Three words: all holes filled. The holy grail for a why choose, if you’re asking me.
All in all, a really enjoyable duet with an alphabet soup of tropes that I wasn’t sure would fit together.

A mafia boss and three NHL stars, all of whom are completely obsessed with Kennedy, what more could a girl want? The conclusion to this duet was so good!! I enjoyed the seeing these guys finding a way to put their differences aside and form this beautiful family for the love of their lives. If you’re looking for your next red flag book boyfriends, then this is the duet for you!
Lots of action, intrigue and plenty of steamy scenes!

The heroine:Kennedy - someone had tried to kill her five years ago and since then she had amnesia and has been trying to recover her memories. Though she had no help since nobody came to claim her when she was in a coma. Lately, ever since she got a job at the professional hockey arena, her memories have started to come back. She has fallen for four different men, three of them Hockey players and the other a mafia kingpin. She knew that they were all part of her past, and were keeping secrets and not helping with her memories.
The Heroes:Sebastian, Carter & Jack - Professional hockey players and the three star players of their team (one a forward, one a defenseman and one a goalie). They protected Kennedy when someone tried to kill her by making her disappear while she was in a coma, by making all records of her disappear as well. They were protecting her from themselves, from their old friend Greyson and from whomever wanted her dead.
Greyson - known as “The Jackal”, he is the leader of the Jackals mafia organization. He was completely and utterly obsessed with Kennedy. He grew up with the other guys and Kennedy. The four guys had all played hockey together in High School and they all started working for the Jackals while growing up, but the other three gave it up to play pro hockey, but Greyson became the Kingpin. Since then, there has been a huge rift between Greyson and the guys.
The Story: when Kennedy was almost abducted again, she wanted all four of her men to be there for her. Though they couldn’t stop fighting long enough to be there for her. She left while they were fighting and someone tried to kill her again, and she started to remember some things, though she wasn’t even sure if it was really happening or if she was just remembering when someone hit her with a car in the past. All she knew was that she couldn’t count of the men she loved.
I really liked that this book started out so similarly to the first one, I thought that was pretty great. It got exciting pretty quickly and there was a ton of action. I liked the fact that the guys finally started working together to protect Kennedy. That is always my favorite point in a reverse harem, when the heroine and all her guys start acting like a family. Like the first book, there were some inconsistencies in the book. Like the fact that the three guys played professional hockey but never seemed to go to away games. I liked the way Kennedy’s memories came back one by one, and finding the people behind the attempts on her life was an interesting storyline.
This audiobook was in multiple points of view via dual narration and was narrated by Alexis Paige and Troy Duran. Troy is one of my favorite male narrators. He has a deep, sexy voice and I could listen to him all day long. Alexis Paige has a very pleasant voice which sounds to be the perfect age for Kennedy. Overall, the narration is terrific.
Finally!!! I finally finished book 2. And I blame myself for my lack of reading this book. I blame Carter, Jack, and Seb lol because they were being shitheads towards Greyson.. and honest, I love Grey way more in book one, and in this one, all the guys brought more to the table it. Just took them a little longer to become friends again. The only thing they agreed on was Kennedy as they should.
We watch the grow more as friends, and Kennedy gets her memories back little by little. The heartbreaking ones to the spicy ones, hehe. We find out who betrayed Greyson and he makes sure they know not to mess with his family.
No ow/om drama, no cheating, drama, sexy times, no virgins. Mentions past (one H had drunk sex when she was gone for those 5 years).

I’ve been waiting for this book for almost 5 months!
Finally we have a conclusion 😍😭😍.
While the journey was a long and rough one, I loved the ending. The FMC deserved it. I’m soooo happy Greyson got much deserved screen time and respect because he was and is my fav. Such a boss, not letting anyone get away with the crap they’ve put Kennedy thru.
I still had some questions that needed answers, some that were left over from Book 1 and some that came about in this book, but that seems to come with the territory with the amnesia trope. This was quite an entertaining duet and sad to see an ending to it!
I loved Greyson but the other guys all blended into each other and were boring I cant believe they abandoned her for 5 years and she just completely forgives them Greyson was the only one who deserves her
Kennedy awakes from a coma caused by a car crash with amnesia. She has no idea who she is and it stays this way as five years pass. One day as her and her friend go on a walk she passes an ice rink and goes inside. It feels familiar and she ends up working there. Carter, Sebastian, and Jack are the star hockey players whom she has some weird run ins with. Also, she apparently has a stalker named Grayson. We find out later they’re all apart of her past.
Fast forward and she’s reunited with Greyson who’s crazy and only wants her. The other guys have problems with him though as they think he was the cause of Kennedy’s accident. So there’s a lot of angst between the guys. Carter was cool but I feel like we didn’t get to know him all that well. I think he was forgotten about a lot.
*insert quote* “His familiar face brought a surge of relief. There was Greyson, and now Jack; my men were alive. Hopefully Sebastian was fine, too.”
What about Carter lmao?
Jack was a main focus and was a sweetie but also psycho. Sebastian the pyro was interesting but wasn’t focused on all that much, but much more so than Carter. In the second book they do come together to help save Kennedy. We find out more about her fucked up past, which includes a r@pist step father, abusive/drug addicted mother, and her father who self unalived. But who is after Kennedy still? Well of course it’s some random dude that’s haphazardly introduced, and had a shitty revenge plan for Greyson.
Okay so I really enjoyed this duet. I thought that Kennedy was pretty likable and the guys were red flag galore but so obsessed with their girl. They all loooooved her. It was a really fun and easy read! I’d definitely read again.
But I did have some issues. The book needed to be fleshed out more. There was a lot of telling and not showing. I’m pretty sure she slept with all of the guys by the second book as one of them makes a comment but we only got scenes between her and Jack & Grayson of actual sex (I’m pretty sure). Idk, it seemed rushed at times and the mafia being thrown in made the book feel kind awkward and cringy. I think if the books were longer it wouldn’t have felt like that. There was a lot of information and background missing but I feel like that’s what happens with a reverse harem duet. Like what happened to Kennedys mom? Carrie knew Kennedy the whole time (this was introduced in the prequel)? What were the guys backgrounds? I wanted MORE!!!! Also again, poor Carter was left out a lot and honestly they could’ve done without him as a character. Such as when Carter has a look that “promises a later conversation” when Jack and Kennedy talk about hookups during the separation (the convo never happens). Greyson and Jack were focused on the most.
Cheating- no Ow/Om Drama- girls would fawn over the guys but not really. Sebastian didn’t sleep with anyone during separation. Jack did. Unknown about Carter and Greyson. Possessive/Obsessive- YES! HEA?HFN?- I’d say HEA but it was a really short epilogue

I loved the second installment of this book! To find out who was behind it all, had my mouth wide open!! This book was great and I loved the two books.
This was a great ending to the Rich Demons of Hockey duet! I loved how this picked up after the cliffhanger in No Pucking Way. The spice was STRONG in this book! The back story came together nicely and was the perfect amount of suspense and spice!
I will definitely be going back and reading the Rich Demons of Darkwood from the glimpse we got in this book!!
I loved every bit of this, this is the conclusion to “No Pucking Way”. It’s full of spicy moments between Kennedy and her 4 guys (3 hot hockey players and a Mafia boss daddy what more could you want?).
These men are full of the red flag moments we love but they are totally devoted to their girl.
We see Jack, Carter and Sebastian trying to find common ground with their ex best friend Greyson all for the sake of Kennedy. When Kennedys safety is compromised they have to work together to keep her safe, all while Kennedy is trying to remember her past.
Absolutely loved the relationships between Kennedy and her guys and the friendships between the guys.
There’s so much more I wanna say but I can’t without spoilers! So go read for yourself and enjoy some smutty red flag goodness.
More hockey, more mafia, more red flags, more spice and more falling in love! This concluding book had it all! The banter, tension, angst and action was PERFECTION! Be prepared to get all hot and bothered as this book was SPICY!😮💨🥵 I loved how Kennedy had one on one time with each of her four men, but the group scenes were *chef’s kiss*.🤌🏻🔥 Ohhh and seeing the men kind of revert back to their “true” selves while on the hunt to take down their enemies?! YESSSS!!! They all became a little (more) unhinged and I am here for all of those red flags baby!! 🚩🚩🚩I am SO happy with how this duet wrapped up!🙌🏻
A big thank you to @crjaneauthor and @maydawsonbooks for this arc in exchange for my honest review! These ladies’ books are a hit every time and I cannot wait to see what they come up with next! 🫶🏻
This is the 2nd book for the Rich Demons of Hockey Duet. It's the HEA we were sooooo waiting for, and it did not disappoint. You'll feel every emotion reading this book, and you will definitely live all the struggles, questions and doubts surrounding these 5 people. This is a dark romance, with very morally grey MMC, so please leave your morals and feminism at the door. And at the end you will be soooo happy for them that you say “Yay” and throw your heart in the hair, because, due to their love for Kennedy and each other, as they were once friends, the find a way to be with each other. To be the family they all deserve and have always wanted to find and belong, together.
This book is so good, but you have to read the 1st one No Pucking Way to really appreciate and understand all that is happening.
It's a great book and this collaboration was just perfect.
Ohhhh and of course, this book is just H.O.T, but what would you expect with does 4 magnificent specimens of men! Mafia and Hockey what more can a girl ask for?!
This is the epitome of “brain rot” reading and I love every minute of it. There is no denying that these books are so unbelievably stupid, but you don’t pick this series up expecting Pride and Prejudice, you pick it up expecting it to be ridiculous.
My only true complaint revolves around the continuity issues. I can overlook a lot, especially when I’m familiar with an author, I know their work, I know what to expect, but the lack of continuity just gets me.
Someone would be naked (described with hands on themselves or another person’s hands on their naked body) and on the next page, they were clothed and just reaching to unbutton their pants. Someone would be standing, then sitting, then standing again. At one point, Kennedy had her legs wrapped around Greyson’s waist and her pants were described as being “pulled down her legs and around her ankles,” all while her legs are still being described as wrapped around Greyson’s waist. It just feels a little lazy, and something that should have been easily caught in early edits.
Loved this book! I’ve been patiently waiting for this one to come out and it didn’t disappoint! Loved that it picked up right where the last book left off… Kennedy - I love her, it must be so difficult to give yourself over to the men you love but not have much recollection of your past together Jack - what a golden retriever boyfriend with a dominant side 😉 Sebastian - the quiet, mysterious one who’s not afraid to express his undying love whilst being assertive Carter - the clean freak, no shit taking one with a commanding side Grayson - the big bad mafia boss with a soft side for Kennedy and a tolerance for the other guys
The 5 of them work so well together and I really liked the ending of this book - it was nice for them to get their happy ending!
The plot in the book was plotting, nice to have a curve ball in there that threw us off a little and the spice level - well what can I say… 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️.5 - it was HOT!

Our Pucking Way by CR Jane and May Dawson ⭐️5 🌶️3.25
The happiness I feel knowing this duet is now complete 😌 WHAT A WAY TO END IT! They left us on a MAJOR cliffhanger and all those loose ends got tied up perfectly.
Greyson, Carter, Sebastian and Jack are all back and still as obsessed with Kennedy as ever. Maybe even more so?
Now, she’s regaining more memories from before and it’s helping her heal. With the 4 men working together to help her and to figure out exactly who is after her & why.
The banter in this book 😂 I was laughing all the way through from these guys. They all constantly fight for her attention and it’s so cute. It’s a full circle moment seeing Greyson rejoin them and become friends again.
The angst and tension and action we all love kept me on my toes and engaged from start to finish! And the spice is absolutely SPICIN’. Wowow. There’s definitely a reason I rated it so high!
Tropes: hockey • mafia • why-choose • amnesia • second chance • it’s always been her • possessive MMCs • DP
Thank you so much CR Jane & May for letting me read this early! 🖤
I loved this second installment of Kennedy, Greyson, Sebastian, Jack, and Carter. We learned so much about each character. The guys did a wonderful job of figuring out a way to get along for Kennedy's sake. Kennedy's memories filter in little by little, it was interesting the things she remembered or rather what triggered the memories. There was a lot of growth and change between the characters and it was amazing. I love how these author combine hockey and the darkness that I love. I never really saw myself liking the hockey romance trope, but these two do an amazing job. This story was so good and so incredibly difficult to put down.
I loved the way this author duo tied together mafia & hockey themes for this dark romance. These men are absolutely PSYCHO for Kennedy & it was great to see them eventually all get onto the same page when it came to Kennedy & her safety. The steam was SO hot too.
Loved seeing the cameos of Cain & the others from Rich Demons of Darkwood Series too!
Tropes: - Amnesia - Hockey - Why Choose - Possessive & Obsessive Alpha Males - Second Chance - Red Flags Galore
This book was everything I needed and more for a why-choose hockey romance.
A lot of questions I had from reading the first book, got answered in this one. I’m happy that the five main characters got their happy ending, and that the four MMC’s have a good relationship. Also, thank you to Sebastian for replacing all of Kennedys books. That’s a real man right there💗
The first story swept me off of my feet - but this ending left a lot to be desired honestly. It just didn’t live up to the greatness of the first book that pulled me in and kept me devouring - this one was just more of the same and it was over. I finished it but it just left me feeling meh.
This story picks up without missing a beat. And be warned it's hot, hot, hot. Love getting different POVs from the guys. Poor Kennedy, girl can't seem to catch a break, but don't worry people.....we definitely get our happy ending.
What a great conclusion this duet. I love the characters. I enjoy how Kennedy is really growing a backbone with these guys. I like all her men but I think Greyson is my favorite. I'm glad everyone got there hea.
