***A crossover from the A Witch in the Woods Mystery Series!
When a prominent realtor is murdered with a spelled edible pearl from one of Kyra's madeleines, Detective Isla Ceartas is determined to prove her friend's innocence. With the help of demigod, Jace Salori and his snarky sidekick, Glo, the three set out to discover who would want the realtor dead. It doesn't take long before a handful of supernatural suspects emerge. Between island hopping to investigate, celebrating a belated Thanksgiving dinner, dealing with her feelings for both Jace and what happened with her mother...Isla is struggling to compartmentalize everything. Add in the fact another murdered body is discovered, surprising everyone involved...well, it's no wonder Isla begins to think her life is cursed. If you love island life...paranormal cozies...and creative characters, then this new crossover series is for you!

When Isla goes house hunting for a home on the water for herself and Nana, she finds the realtor dead on the kitchen floor. When the medical examiner shows up along with Nana, who's well versed in black magic, they find out that the realtor, Maris, ate a cookie from the bakery that had a deadly spell on it.
Isla, Jace, and Glo have their hands full with this case. The Maris was corrupt, so finding out who wanted her dead is hard, she had a lot of people on the island who hated her. She swindled 3 people out of their homes, and worked with an inspector who was also a carpenter that she would recommend to her clients. But he would do terrible work or just plain not show up. But when Isla, Jace, and Glo find out that the partner Maris worked with wasn't who he claimed he is, he was the son of a big mafia family.
Isla, Jace, and Glo, are investigating the death of a realtor- one who has hand in many pies, not all of them ethical…
This book sees a little bit more of a new romance, many yummy madeleines, and of course a little bit of magic! It all adds up to a quick, fun, paranormal cosy mystery, with a mermaid-witch heroine, and her Demigod-dragon hero. It’s an enjoyable series, although this is a standalone mystery, it is part of an ongoing series where the characters and their personal lives are building on the stories that went before. Well worth it for the paranormal mystery fans.
After the excitement with Isla’s mother in the last book, Isla is due for some calmness. Not to happen. She goes to view a house she’s thinking of buying and finds the realtor dead. More than plenty of suspects as this realtor was not a nice person. Jace has recovered from helping Isla and Glo is very protective of him (so sweet). We get to learn more about their friends and there is a big twist to the mystery. Wonderful characters (such fun unique paranormals) in an enchanted setting and a great mystery. Can’t wait for the next story.
A trip to the Bermuda circle is always exciting! Ilsa is home shopping and discovers the realtor has been murdered. With Jace and my personal favorite dragon Glo. It comes in handy that Jace is a dragon as well making travel to another Island easy. the list of suspects seems to grow the more they follow the clues. Jenna and Stephanie have woven a pleasant page turner. I love Glo, personally I love things that glow in the dark.
In this third book in this series, we get to know the characters better as they settle into their rolls. Isla is shopping for a new home on the beach, but finds her realtor’s body at the first stop. This is a fun cozy read, with interesting characters and a nice twisty plot. I enjoyed this book and am looking forward to the next in the series. I received a complimentary copy of this book and chose to write a voluntary, unbiased review.
I enjoyed this book. The characters are fun, interesting, and becoming endearing. The plot is straight forward and the premise is finding the killer and whoever was tricking the old ladies out of their homes. There are as many sick people among the supernatural people as in the humans! I definitely recommend this book.
Absolutely fantastic! Isla, Jace, Glo and everyone have to solve a murder of a scheming real estate agent. There are so many twists and turns that the reader is left trying to figure things out until the very end! The characters are strong and the storyline is one that keeps you wanting to read from beginning to end non-stop! Outstanding!!!
Jenna St. James and Stephanie Damore provide another intriguing mystery set in the Bermuda Triangle. Murder of a real estate broker, shady real estate deals, a surprise connection to a paranormal crime family, a second murder and a few more twists kept me turning the pages until the end. There's more romance in this one than in the previous books but it didn't detract from the mystery.
Paranormal cozy at its best. The cast of characters is quite interesting and fun to read. The mail characters are feisty and endearing. Who knew the Bermudan Triangle was so active! Highly recommend
Crazy things happen in this book. A couple of the characters are not who they seem to be, Glo might be warming up to Isla, and Jace and Isla are definitely hitting it off! I love Glo, bloodthirsty dragon that she is! This is such a fun series to read and I love it!
This is my favorite of series so far. Glo still my favorite character ,she got attitude lol got plot and twist I did not see coming . ,and the murder was surprise too well done the writes got me on this one .
