Checklist for the holidays: Pick sweater; the more hideous the better Steer clear of flying snowballs Do not fall for the resident bad boy…
When Ainsley lives next door to the town’s bad boy Cole, she has no idea he’s had a secret crush since the night of the disastrous (never to be repeated) speed-dating event. For one Ainsley wasn’t up for a date, she was hosting the event, but that didn’t stop Cole marking her down as number one on his scorecard. Sweet. If only he’d do something about it, right?
Cole loves women, he’s made that clear with his cheeky grin and award winning smile. He’s notorious for charming the pants of every woman in Silver Pines and beyond. But when Ainsley needs a fake boyfriend to get her ex back, he takes the job a little too seriously. What follows is a hilarious disaster of a fake-date, sunshine vs sunshine, a snowball fight from hell and a snowed under predicament that neither expected.
Snowed Under - the third instalment from the Silver Pines series with rom-com vibes and hilarious banter, a bad boy (with a good heart), geeky heroine and a lovable cast of characters from the small-town of Silver Pines. Snowed under is book 3 in the series but can be read completely stand-alone with a merrily happy ever after.

Ok, I LOVEEEE me a holiday romance read and being th first of the season, I binged right through this! It’s safe to say, It was a huge winner! I always love the stories these co-authors write together, and they nailed this one! So much was fit in without it being super long! Think…Hallmark. Pretty and quiet good girl moves in nextdoor to hot guy, immedietly following a breakup…and spice.. Like, super sweet hot neighbor, working on a town holiday event together, andddd he’s got a MOUTH ON HIM. Like, imagine chili peppers flying out of his mouth. BUT, also candy canes and warm hot chocolate. Yes… it’s got EVERYTHING. Perfect for a weekend, infront of the fire, or under a blanket and just devour. Maybe a cold beverage to cool ya self down as well. I LOVED IT! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Star: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Snowed Under is a feel-good, laugh-out-loud holiday romance that combines classic rom-com vibes with small-town charm. This third instalment in the Silver Pines series brings together Ainsley, the sweet and slightly geeky heroine, and Cole, the town’s lovable bad boy with a hidden soft side. Though part of a series, Snowed Under works well as a standalone, giving readers all the warmth and wit without needing to have read the previous books.
Ainsley and Cole have a “fake dating” setup that kicks off with hilarious banter and playful antics, as Cole steps up to help Ainsley show her ex what he’s missing. The catch? Cole has been secretly crushing on her since a speed-dating disaster, and the fake relationship gives him a chance to show her a different side of himself. Their dynamic is a joy to watch as the chemistry and tension between them build, sparking sunshine-versus-sunshine moments and a hilariously intense snowball fight.
What makes Snowed Under especially charming is the quirky cast of Silver Pines characters who add to the cosy, small-town holiday setting. Mackenzy and Dakotah Fox expertly balance humour and heart, making Cole and Ainsley’s journey one that’s as touching as it is entertaining. Cole may have a reputation as a heartbreaker, but he proves to be the perfect fake boyfriend, winning not only Ainsley’s heart but also readers’ hearts with his genuine warmth beneath his bad-boy facade.
This book is ideal for anyone who loves a holiday romance with plenty of humour, feel-good moments, and a satisfying happily ever after. With its charming characters and festive setting, Snowed Under is a delightful addition to any holiday reading list.
Book Review: Snowed Under By: Mackenzy Fox & Dakotah Fox
I just love these two they write amazing stories on their own and stellar ones when they work together! I’m obsessed with this story and now I want to go back and read the other two books in this holiday series. Snowed Under is so stinking cute and just the absolute perfect book for this time of year! I devoured it in a day! It checks all my boxes for a great holiday read! It’s a perfect holiday rom-com and overflows with my favorite small town trope vibes! This was the third book like I said I want to go read the other two especially with the cute little Easter eggs mentioned in this book!
I loved the two MCs Ainsley is the sweet and a little geeky local librarian who doesn’t realize how gorgeous she is. And Cole is the towns “bad boy” but not really he is all a gooey marshmallow CAT DADDY 🙌 I’m a puddle on the floor this book had me at cat daddy!!! Fudge is like a double for my Gimli so I had to use him in the reel instantly when I heard orange fluff ball I just kept picturing him!
The story starts out with them fake dating to get her terrible ex who has been bugging her off her back. But sparks fly with the banter and playful nature these two have. And when Cole finally admits he has had a crush on her for a while she finally begins to believe he could want something beyond fake dating.
It gives you the Hallmark vibes of a small town and their endless Christmas activities but with the spicy we all know, love, and expect from the Fox sisters. And they definitely deliver! So please please take my word for it and read this delightful holiday story!! You’ll love it!!!

Snowed Under - Silver Pines Little Holiday book 3 ) Small Town , Secret Crush , Bad Boy with a heart of gold, unrequited love , Opposites Atttract , characters you simply cannot stop yourself from falling in love with , steamy , heartbreaking and heartfelt moments, drama , angst , humor , witty banter , family and friendships, moments you’ll find yourself smiling, laughing out loud , screaming outta frustration, crying and cheering so freaking hard . This was such a fun read that yes kept me up well into the early morning hours but then again that’s not surprise because it’s written by Mackenzy and Dakotah Fox and oh man do they make a phenomenal Duo . Cole and Ainsley could not be more opposite at least that’s what I first thought. Ainsley is a librarian/ a good girl who prefers a night in reading then being around other people . She’s just gotten out of a difficult relationship and is still trying to get back to some kind of normalcy . Unbeknownst to her Cole has been crushing ok her for a very long time, . But Cole has a reputation for being a player and a playboy . These two may come across as being wrong for each other . But unexpected circumstances quickly change all that . Sometimes opposites really do for so perfectly together like two pieces of a puzzle 🧩
Cole and Ainsley have grown up in the same small town. Cole has always had a crush on Ainsley but has never felt he was good enough for her. Ainsley has been in and out of a relationship with her recent ex-boyfriend. Ainsley catches the ex cheating on her, and she's done with him finally. She moves in next door to Cole, where he discovers she's finally single. He makes his move to protect her with a fake relationship agreement, which moves very quickly to the real deal for the both of them.
The eruption of their tension into the quick, spontaneous, spicy vehicle smeggsy was hot. It's a tight squeeze for my personal experience for two bodies to get that kind of relief 🔥. I loved these two together with his protective streak, but sweet cat daddy sensitive side. I loved their romance centering around Christmas in their little town. Cat daddy sure knows how to give her smeggsy experience and a great confidence boost. Who doesn't have a librarian fantasy?
Thank you, author, for the ARC! Release Date: November 18, 2024
OMG! This story was so freaking adorable, sweet and hilarious that I totally found myself smiling right to the very end.
Ainsley is such an adorably cute little librarian with a hidden fierceness and kinky side that only seems to come out when she’s around Cole. He brings it out in her and she can’t help herself whenever he’s around.
Cole is the town’s lovable playboy. He’s known to sleep around but underneath his playboy status, he’s actually a total softie and an utter cinnamon-roll. Just ask Fudge!
The banter between Ainsley and Cole was filled with sweetness, little jokes and cute flirting, which actually starts to turn into more intense flirting the more they get going. The tension between them builds into something that neither one of them wants to deny. The sparks just flew off the pages and you could feel their growing passion and desire for one another.
I just loved this book. It was the perfect holiday feel-good romance that kept me glued to the pages and smiling at the wonderful happy ever after.
You know that when a book starts out with a hot and sexy construction worker talking to his cat- who he calls “fudgey”, it’s gonna be a great read!
Cole and Ainsley were both great characters and so easy to fall in love with. Cole was sexy as sin in the bedroom, but outside he was just the sweetest. It was too cute when he volunteered to babysit, and I loved seeing him deck Ainsley’s ex- that guy so deserved it. Ainsley had such a huge heart and didn’t deserve the crap from her dad, and then how she was treated in her past relationship. Seeing her get her HEA with Cole, after what she’s been through, it was the best!
This was another sweet and fun holiday romance from the incredible Fox sisters! It had some funny moments with a cat, a little bit of drama from an ex, some incredible sexy times, and two people who couldn’t be more perfect together getting their HEA!
This was a cute rom com-style holiday quick read with two sunshine MCs with Hallmark vibes. There was a little bit of fake dating, but that didn't last long, since this was a story of instant love and falling hard.
Ainsley is a good girl librarian who prefers books to people and the girl of Coles dreams who he has been crushing on for almost a year. Ainsley had just gotten out of a bad relationship, so her confidence was pretty low. She also has a horrible relationship with her dad that left her feeling unwanted and unloved, which just broke my heart and I can relate to.
Cole has a reputation as the playboy of the small town they live in, but when he met Ainsley at a speed dating event that she was hosting, he immediately fell for her. He is a cat dad and the way he spoke to his cat, Fudge, was so sweet. He really was a golden retriever sunshine man.
Ainsley and Cole are friends and since the speed dating event a year ago, he has had a crush on her. With her moving in next door, it gives them more opportunity to get closer. He offers to pretend to be her date at an event to get back at her horrible ex, Drake.
From fake dating, the lines are soon blurred when they realise that there is mutual attraction and soon they take small tiny steps to show each other how they feel. I enjoyed how Fudge, Cole’s grumpy cat, (sort of) helped to bring them together.
I liked when Cole ups his protective mode too. So blazing hot despite all the snow in their small town. It is also a perfect read for Christmas with all the preparations for the snowball fight and a huge Frosty the snowman. Grab this if you like the idea of a hot construction worker and a cute geeky librarian together!
Ainsley and Cole are taking over from Travis and Presley to head up the Christmas Committee for the town, and after Ainsley breaks up with her ex, she ends up moving in next door to him. Things come to a head, and Cole goes from being a fake boyfriend to the real thing in very little time. I love how he's been into her for so long and hasn't been behaving like the bad-boy the town thinks he is. I love how Ainsley is able to let him in, and he helps her grow into the woman she becomes. I have really enjoyed this series, with a few laughs, a continuation of the characters from the previous books, and the sweet romance that is growing strong in Silver Pines. I love the HEA that Ainsley and Cole got, and would love to see more in this world!
This book is so cute and fluffy. I loved it 😍 Cole and Ainsley are so cute, their instand tension and sparks were undeniable. And they went flying right away Even when the book was short, the plot was really good and everything was insightful, nothing was left out or wasn’t finished in my opinion.
Spice was so good! First a Lille touch here and there and I loved that for once it wasn’t the MMC who initiated the first move
The end was a little bit rushed, with the time jumps but it wasn’t bad. I think all was well written and it ended on a really beautiful note ❤️
What a heartwarming read. I loved it. Sweet sunshine is Cole and Ainsley. Cole is the sweet, flirty construction worker who has a crush on his new neighbour, Ainsley, who he's none for a while, and Ainsley is the sweet librarian with a heart of gold. They both have feelings for each other but don't think the other could of them in that way or their not good enough for each other. Ainsley is having some trouble with her ex and Cole suggests being her fake boyfriend to get her ex off her back, and before you know, all the holding back stops and sparks fly and the spicy romance begins. What a great read.
Snowed Under is a fast paced and cozy Christmas read!! This is book 3 in this series and can be read as a standalone, but I highly recommend starting from the beginning!
Ainsley and Cole are currently neighbors. Ainsley is needing a stand in to be her fake boyfriend to get her ex off her back and Cole steps up to the plate a little to eagerly. Cole has always wanted this and finally got his chance, but it's only for show. Until lines definitely get crossed and what's real and fake get jumbled.
Mackenzy Fox and Dakotah Fox create another great book in the Silver Pine series that is a funny and cute romcom!
This was the perfect holiday read, and I binged right through this! When you pick this book up think…Hallmark. Pretty and quiet good girl moves in next door to hot guy, immediately following a breakup…and throw in the spice. The banter between Ainsley and Cole was filled with sweetness, little jokes, and cute flirting. The sparks just flew off the pages between these two! I just loved this book and recommend it!
Snowed In, Snowed Out, Snowed Under 🍬 All very cute, albeit similar, reads set in the cutest town who apparently gets so much snow three years in a row so we have three lucky couples are forced to find ways to stay warm. Ha. They were all cute and quick holiday reads
We have what was supposed to be a one night stand turning into having to see and work with eachother every day. A friends to lovers. A librarian and the town bad boy. I had fun reading them. 3.5⭐️
The first book in this series was actually okay-- there was a cute but predictable storyline, and some good spicy scenes. It was basic, but the writing wasn't bad.
This one, however, was pretty awful. The "fake dating" trope lasted for barely an hour, and other than that it was just gratuitous sex scenes with forced banter justifying the "snowed under" title. There were an egregious number of misspellings, grammar mistakes and usage errors. Would not read more of their books.
I love this story. This is book 3 in the series and is a fantastic read. It will rab you and take you away to another word for a short time. It moves along at a speed which is perfect for the flow of the story. The characters seem so real that you cannot help but love them and you want to be there for them. This book has to be read, you will not be sorry that you did.
Such a great cute small town holiday romcom with the bad boy next door vibe where Cole & Ainsley "fake date" to get back at her ex & end up falling for each other especially when Cole captures her her under in unexpected ways. Definitely recommend this holiday read. Nice Hallmark like with a side of bad boy vibe for me
A sweet small town romance that will keep you toasty during the cold winter night! I liked how Cole got Ainsley to see herself as everyone else does. She’s such a loving and giving character. Cole is sweet but has a delicious naughty side to him. And I loved their shared affection for Fudge.
This book was a savoring delight with all trimmings of a holiday romance. The fox sisters are a great romance duos in establishing with writing talents together which is pretty phenomenal. The plot characters and words are like magic on my heart,
Tis the season in Silver Pines!! 🎄 The Fox sisters brought us a short rom-com filled with a dash of fake dating, a little pinch of insta love, a dollop of spice, and so much cat love 😻. Put all of my favorite ingredients together, and this was absolutely a recipe for a solid, Christmasy read.
This was a very fun read. I really liked Cole and Ainsley, and I thought they made a great couple. Their chemistry is wonderful and there is plenty of heartstring tugging, feels, emotions and spice.
Cole and Ainsley go from making her ex jealous to way more. Cole has been waiting a year for a chance with her unbeknownst to her. He waste no time showing her his interest is real. Loved their chemistry and his way of just being there for her.
