Hi, I'm M.M. Crumley Your Author Extraordinaire (Also Known as M.M. Boulder)

As M.M. Crumley I write Urban Fantasy books full of supernatural action, nail-biting-mystery and; laugh-out-loud humor. Why? Because stories, myths, and legends have always been a huge part of my life... As a child, I liked nothing better than to lose myself in a world where magic and heroes were part of the fabric of existence.

As my pen name M.M. Boulder I write psychological thrillers and murder mysteries that bring the darker impulses we may not feel completely comfortable with into the light. My stories are full of lies and deaths, but there is always justice. A type of justice that's not afraid to get its hands dirty. I write morally ambiguous characters who are pushed to their limits and take matters into their own hands. In my world getting away with murder has never been so much fun!

No matter what I write every one of my characters are real to me. They exist. They are three-dimensional beings who demand that their stories be told. If I were to turn away from them, they would haunt me; and so I don't. Instead I chase after them and write down everything they say!

Excellent beyond words.

Doc is back, and now it's time for Jury's tasks.
This is a different Doc book. Yes, it has adventures, loves, killing bad dudes, all that we've come to expect. Yet, this book is more. More poignant, more feeling, a glimpse inside Doc.
We've known about how the passing of time and his friends and loves hurt him, but here, we find out more of the why and how much more deeply he feels it.
It's an excellent read and while I could expound so much on it, this is one you need to read to see. It's so deep into Doc, words can not describe it.
So very, highly recommended.

Questioning everything!

Another great book by MM Crumley. Doc and everything and everyone around him keep evolving. I say it, and I mean it each and every time , this is so ooo good. The books keep getting better and better. I love how Doc. keeps everyone with him, even when it hurts. This book resolved some questions but asked a whole bunch more. I am absolutely loving this journey and hope we never reach a destination.

There can never be enough Doc

After finishing book 14 in the series, I had such a book hangover! I’ve loved this series from the beginning and love it still. Doc has changed, or perhaps is just more self aware. There is a new storyline, interweaving others and I have loved every.single.page.

More please and may it never end!

I’m so relieved that this isn’t the last in the doc holiday books I can’t imagine them ever ending. It will break my heart when they do so you just have to keep writing. I miss jury in this book, but I got to see more of Gervis and I like that a lot, I won’t say anything about the plot except that it’s a slightly more personal book

WOW!

This book turn a huge turn I didn't see coming. Crazy turn for sure but it does make sense in several ways. Now to get a better handle on this with all Docs various family!! I can't wait for the next one! You'll need to have read all the previous books for this boon to really make sense but why wouldn't you any way!

I have enjoyed the Immortal Doc Holliday series, the concept is innovative and previously not-put-downable, but these last few books have got a bit introspective for my personal liking. Too much self-questioning and not enough cohesive plot and action.
