Skin Deep: A Plus One Spin-Off

Bro!!!! Cree and Niema ain’t got no sense!
That lick-back was savage…like in front of him while he’s tied up and in pain?? That’s cold man but oh so entertaining!!
Cree came through with that BDE with a heavy dose of cinnamon roll. He was just what Niema needed after suffering through being groomed and years of abuse. That man was handpicked just for her and I enjoyed seeing her healing journey and her being properly TAKEN care of. 😮💨😮💨
The conclusion to Lick-back season was well worth the wait.
PS: Bella Jay, Lady Marie and Tanon Tales can we do this again? 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

I enjoyed this book! After reading Plus One, my mind was wondering where Jelly was. So, I was happy that Jelly got a book. I was so happy that she got away for real this time and seeing her journey through everything she's been through was hard but I'm soo happy that Cree was there for her. He didn't play at all with her. Plus, I was soo happy we got to see Dillion and the crew for a quick update!!

The love these two had was priceless. You can literally feel it as you read. They were each other’s peace from day one. He was gone for her before they ever laid eyes on one another. I’m glad we got to hear from our favorite poly group. This was an easy 5 stars. The only thing that had me a little thrown off was that her ex was called a bunch of different Q names at the end. I don’t know if that was on purpose or not but it didn’t take away from the book for me

I’m sure this is my first read by Tanon Tales, however, I’ve seen the name often on IG. I love “lick back” tropes, especially if DV is involved. So I assumed I would really enjoy this story. And at the beginning I did and then things got a bit rushed and stale.
I do think reading the other books in this series would’ve enhanced my experience. Because I was confused about Dillion and Harrison and the other couple.
Overall it was meh.

This did NOT DISAPPOINT! I SWEA! I lived for Cree and my heart crushed at his past. He and Jelly deserved each other and I’m so glad they had such an intense and loving story. Tying in my girls from Bliss was chefs kiss !! Good job girl ! I’m rereading all the books after I work my way through your catalog. 🤎🤎🤎🫵🏾 did that !

Cree and Niema are such a vibe!
The growth of both Cree and Niema was such a beautiful journey. Them healing each other was a path that I loved reading. Also the call back to previous characters and completion of storylines was amazing! As always Tanon made me laugh, cry, be ready to fight, and end on a high note!

The only reason this didn’t get a 5 is because you played in my face sending them to Harrison and Dillion’s house WITH Able and Neyla showing up AND they spend the night but don’t play 😂😂😂😂. But if what Ni asks for at the end by the water means what I hope it means I will gladly change my rating upon release of the next book in the series. ❤️

Whole enough that they’re able to accept the love that they both deserve. Cree fights his battles by shutting things out and Niema subdues herself. But together, they embrace who they are and they fight everyday for what they share.
That lick back was sexy as hell!! And that Qburydoeboy deserved it! He couldn’t even look at them. Smh… pathetic!

This book was deep!
What started off dark, turned into a beautiful love story. Cree was definitely rough around the edges but he needed a special ladybug to soften him up. Niema was in a really bad abusive relationship and ended up saved by someone she least expected.

Nice short read
The story was cool. And it was nice seeing an update from past characters. I was expecting a little more considering the masterpiece the author wrote in the Plus One series. This felt kind of rushed and not fully developed.

I really enjoyed this story! Cree and Jelly’s chemistry was amazing. They were great together. Cree was a standup guy despite his troubled past. Tanon never disappoints.

Jelly runs into Cree who helped her escape her abusive ex before. By she ran back to him. Cree already told him if he comes near her again he won’t like it.
Her ex tries to seek her out so they had to move safe houses. Leaving her stuck with Cree to still do her healing exercises. They build a bind and start dating.
They kill her ex and live happily ever after.
