Blades
Blades and China's love story is a little bit rough. Because of others' deception, both characters lost a lot of years of happiness. I was very happy to see they never stopped loving each other. Reading their story will get you sad, but happy at the end. Harley Wylde gave these two a great best happy ending.

Blades and China share a serious tear jerker love story. Life was starting off great for them…..new love, new life, new daughter. Hope for the future as soon as Blades could make things good with the club. But before they could bring their plans to fruition, Blades is framed for murder and sent to prison. While he’s locked up all hell breaks loose! China is taken and sold into slavery and his baby girl is given to terrible people. Blades has no idea his loves are in trouble…he spends 18 long years behind bars. An unexpected visitor brings everything to light and throws them all into a whirlwind as Blades tries to save his beloved China and get to know the daughter he lost! I love these looks into the history of the clubs! The action is top notch and the feels are way up there as he sees all he’s missed and has to work through where they are now. Fantastic book as per the usual from Harley Wylde! Never disappointed with the was she shares the experiences of her characters and keeps us all on the edge of our seats!

When Blades is set up for a fall by his MC, he never dreams of how his life will be impacted far more than he anticipated. He is told that his wife, China, and child, Meiling, were kidnapped. China ended up in a traumatic, abusive, horrendous situation.
When Blades gets out of prison, his one focus is to find his wife and child....and his main focus is to exact revenge. Blades regains China and his daughter seeks him out. She had a terrible childhood growing up but is now happy and adjusting to a normal life.
China is very damaged but Blades is determined to see her through it and help her have hope for the future. It helps that China is a very strong woman. She must deal with all she has gone through, what she had before Blades went to prison, all the years she lost when they could have been together, the loss and then reconnection with her daughter, and the resulting depression. With Blades help, can she do it?

First thing you need to know is that Blades and China's story is not your usual Harley Wylde story. China and Blades needed a story that celebrated their love and Harley did such a wonderful job of giving that to us.
Blades was so sweet and protective of China. He supported her in her healing and decisions, though he did give gentle pushes when held they were needed. It was hard to hear about what China went through for so many years, but she showed us how strong she is. It was hard on China when she found out that her daughter was still alive and what she also went through until she was rescued. It did take some time to develop the mother/daughter relationship that they both desired. I was rooting for both of them.
This story was a beautiful, heartwarming story that brought tears to your eyes and left you with a full heart.

This is the relationship between Blade and his woman China. The story starts long ago when Blade’s willingness to take the fall for his MC results in him going to Prison. His woman China was kidnapped and forced into a horrible situation, and his daughter Mei sent into foster care, your heart just breaks.
Once Blade is out and has found what happened to China and meeting Mei his daughter, he snaps into action to rescue his China from her situation. The way he treats her after this is so sweet they go slow as her confidence and self esteem grows stronger as to what it should be. This is a book you shouldn’t miss this one. Harley has outdone herself!

Blades, China and their daughter Meilings story is completely and utterly heartbreaking. These characters have endured the most horrendous things and have much to overcome but they come back together as survivors and Blades will burn down the world before he lets anything happen to them again. This book gutted me! From the beginning my heart was shattered and by the end this author managed to put it all back together in grand fashion.

In this story we learn about what happened to China. If you haven’t read the other Devil’s Fury books, you might want to. You really need the back story. We finally not only find out how China and Blade came to be but also their life before it all fell apart. China is having a hard time with all the time she and Meiling were apart as well as with Blade aka Robert. You can feel the struggle she has and even her wanting to be a better woman and mother. It is just a difficult path for all three of them. I’m glad that we didn’t go dark.

When Blades was asked to take a fall for his MC it sent him to prison and as a result China was kidnapped and her daughter sent to a foster home that made her life miserable. When Blades reconnects with his daughter, he learns about everything his girls had encountered and set about righting their wrongs. Blades and China's heart felt story had me captivated and cheering them on to finally getting their chance for happiness.

When I read Dingo story, I thought what happened to Blades and China was terrible. It's nice to know we get the story of what happened when there were finally reunited after almost 19 years. Blades is so loving and willing give China the time she needs to feel like a person again. But he still pushes her when she takes too long to get to the next step in the process. It's a beautiful story that you will enjoy.

I liked reading Blades and China’s story. It’s beautiful how love can survive separation and trauma. This book is outside of the timeline, and it’s just such a lovely story. With EXPLICIT heat. There is NO CHEATING, but heroine is a long term SA victim/survivor. Other TRIGGERS include trafficking, sexual shaming of a trafficked woman, and dark thoughts, as well as graphic violence, language, and arson.

Blades and China’s story was so much more than a romance, it’s about healing, overcoming and starting over. Every now and then there comes a story that will rip your heart out and piece it back together. This is that story! I adored how patient, respectful and loving Blades was with China. I loved going on this strong, meaningful and heartfelt ride.

Blades and China has always been the mystery couple that very little was written about other than in regards to familial ties to Dingo and Mei. I always wanted more, and I’m glad she chose to give them a story. Even as heartbreaking as China’s story is I’m glad she got her voice. I’m excited to see where Harley goes next.

He is head strong and also has a big heart for China.

Then sweet as can be when needed.
China is still in a fragile state after all she has been through. But over time she gained more confidence.

Blades and China was a long awaited book that Harley did great justice. The romance and love and story buildup from book to book has been great. Some of the story is heartbreaking but it is written in such a way that the reader can understand and feel the characters emotions. The healing and love is amazing.

Wow just wow once again Harley Wylde knocks it out of the park!!! This book pulled me in from the start. In each book each couple is special yet we always get some extras with the side characters. The chemistry between China and Blades is awesome. I can’t wait so see what happens next. I highly recommend this book!!

You get to see blades and China a lot through out HW series and I’m so happy they finally got their own book! Their story is heartbreaking beautiful. I love how blades has never giving up on getting out and finding the love of his life. Their story was so worth the wait! I hope we see more of their story play out as the series continue

I can't wait for Harley Wylde books to be released and I had some how missed Blades it was a follow up I loved this book china and blade had been through so much heartache and suffering it started good and only got better it was good to catch up with other characters from devils fury can't wait for next book hurry up

This story is absolutely gut wrenching and it took me a couple of days to finish it. Loved the characters, mourned the time they lost but loved that they finally got their hea in the end. Needed more butt whoops, but it's a must read for sure.

This is not the usual Devil's Fury book. The heartache these two people go through could have completely destroyed them. China's past, the trauma she suffered was hard to take. But Blades' devotion to her is what carries their story. He is so sweet to her. Their love is truly something special.

I’ve always wondered about china and Blades especially after reading Dingo. I think this story completed that and gave me a look into there stories and lives. Also as a Louisiana girl I say she hit New Orleans and our food on the head. Can’t wait to see who’s next!!

Wow!!! Great to finally have Blades and Chinas story!!! This one was a lot more sweet than most of her books and the drama and bloodshed was mainly at the start. It focuses more on the relationship between the two characters. It was a sweet read and can’t wait to buy it in paperback…

Short but sweet
This is a short but quite sweet story after China is rescued. Before that it's quite violent. I liked the characters and it was nice to see Meiling and Dingo as supporting characters.
The only thing is, it's too short but that's obviously the authors choice.

I am so happy we finally got Blades and China’s story! Their story is beyond heartbreaking! Blades leaves a path of blood, bodies, and destruction to get his China Doll back! China struggles to believe she deserves love. Their path to happiness happily ever after is slow but worth it.

Not the usual Harley Wylde book but she did an epic job. Blades and China story needed to be told eventhou it is gut wrenching but they end up back together where they belong with one another.

A little disappointing, I felt, there were so many unanswered questions that I needed, which I unfortunately didn't get. So overall, it's a sweet read but very superficial.

Blades and China had gotten a second chance. Blades never stopped loving China and he is amazing with her. China went through tremendous horror and came out damaged but Blades was there to help her. I loved it!
