Christy Barritt is an author, freelance writer and speaker who lives in Virginia. She’s married to her Prince Charming, a man who thinks she’s hilarious—but only when she’s not trying to be. Christy’s a self-proclaimed klutz, an avid music lover who’s known for spontaneously bursting into song, and a road trip aficionado. She’s only won one contest in her life—and her prize was kissing a pig (okay, okay… actually she did win the Daphne du Maurier Award for Excellence in Suspense and Mystery also). Her current claim to fame is showing off her mother, who looks just like former First Lady Barbara Bush When she’s not working or spending time with her family, she enjoys singing, playing the guitar, and exploring small, unsuspecting towns where people have no idea how accident prone she is.
I really enjoyed these three novels By Christy Barritt. Good clean reads but with fast paced adventure. Some excellent twists especially towards the end of book three.
Although the protagonists were different in each book, the ranch and the other characters, gave the continuity necessary. Personally I would have preferred a longer denouement, but the modern style seems to leave this to your imagination ,at least Christi gives us the bare bones, leaving us to flesh them out.
I felt disappointed that Charlie's situation was never fully resolved, please can we have another book in which there is a full resolution? This is the reason I have given four stars rather than five. May I also ask that a little more flesh is given to the bones of characters becoming Christians and lifting prayers.
Book three almost gets there but just evades the issue. It would be good to hear one complete story perhaps even adding difficulties in engaging with a church . Thank you for three good reads , I look forward to another...
As in her other books, there are fully developed good and evil characters, exciting plots with many unseen events, and interesting locations. A great romance is intertwined within the stories, and I haven't ound any replays or flaws in her books. I have read over 80 of her books, and hope there will be at least 80 more.
A fake marriage. A woman who was dead and a movie star
All three stories are great! Book one is about a fake marriage. The FBI undercover officer is married to a stranger. Book two she was supposed to be dead! Now he has to try save her. The third book was absolutely amazing. A pilot ends up inveolved in a fight to save many.
There actually are people in this world who put the good of others above their own. Even though the men and women of Vanishing Ranch are characters in a book they exemplify the real men and women who put their lives on the line for others everyday. Hope you enjoy meeting the characters in these stories as much as I did.
This was fast paced and excitement from the first paragraph! The intensity of the suspense and growing emotions between the well developed characters, made me remember why I love reading Christy Barritt’s books! Thanks again for hours of enjoyment!
as I e,packed another great bunch of stories of real strong men, no wimps here, who help string women who make a difference for good in others lives. I highly recommend this author.
