A beautifully illustrated book with so many wonderful places to visit and things to do while in Scotland, definitely recommend if you want to go there and find local hidden gems in your journeys. Or if you just love looking at stunning photos of lovely and unusual places.

This book is a voyage. Not only are the pictures breathtakingly beautiful but the words are also poetic and made me feel like I was over there. Each page is a journey.

What an absolute joy it was to read this. I've followed Walker on Instagram only for a little over a year or two now, but I thoroughly enjoy his videos of the hidden, less traveled parts of this gorgeous country, and they have been responsible for changing my itineraries in a few places. This was so much more than a simple travel book, too, because it not only walked through stunning landscapes, but touched upon local lore and culture, and it truly feels like something I would carry in my backpack. I very much look forward to another volume, hopefully, that covers more of the Hebrides and even travels farther north to Orkney and Shetland.
