This book didn't make a damn bit of sense to me. This review will have spoilers because you need them.

Aiden (billionaire) sees Brina (escort) at a bar while she's on a date with another man. He decides that he wants her. He hires someone to figure out who she is and the next week he contacts Emery (Book 1 - C*mslut) to secure Brina as being his submissive for a full year. During their first official meeting, he decides he wants to breed her. They never really do anything Dom/sub except he ties her up and blindfolds her and then gives her a collar. They only meet on the weekends for activities (which we don't hear about), and they have no communication during the week. This goes on for months. Like WTF! Doesn't sound like relationship building to me. At 64%, he drugs her and then removes her IUD because he wants to get her pregnant. At 69% they have sex for the first time. Yes, you read that right. He hasn't even had sex with her!!!!! WTF kind of smut book is this??? Anyway, of course she gets pregnant. At 83% he tells her he loves her.... HOW?! They barely see each other.

The reason he wanted to trap her with a baby is because "his father wasn't a good man". I'm not sure why. The times he discusses his family, it's hinted at that they should instill fear in others. Again, I don't know why. Aiden also has a sister who is SO confusing. At first I thought this was going to be a taboo brother/sister fic, but no - they just have some really weird relationship that you never get an explanation on. The author spends more time talking about the sister, Melody hooking up with Jackson, and Emery than she does building up the coupling of Aiden and Brina.

So she kicks him out for a few weeks, then she gets over being mad and they get together. The end. There's an epilogue but it's stupid.

I know this author has written a lot of great books that I love - but this is not one of them.

In case you’re also confused about this being book 3 in a series but it’s not clearly marked…..

I didn’t like either MC in the beginning, and since this is mostly smut, not plot, I never end up liking or caring about either one by the end. In fact, I didn’t understand their pseudo-HFN. Not to mention that the guy does something completely irredeemable early on and never apologizes or cares if she hates him for it. The whole thing is weird. Insta-attraction, insta-lust and immediately after their first 10 minutes together it becomes insta-love….ALL COMPLETELY ON HIS PART, she does not even know him.
