I’ve sworn off men forever! Okay, not forever, but for a few months. After my last hook-up, my vag needs a reset because the last man to touch me broke it in the worst of ways. Not a problem, until my new dance partner comes into the picture. He’s turning into my forbidden fruit, tempting me in ways I didn’t know possible. I have three months of celibacy ahead of me and eight weeks to whip my new dance partner into shape. Someone save me.
* A note to readers. This book starts off hot and heavy. If you don’t like spice, complicated friendships, misunderstanding, second chances, old friends to lovers, he falls first; with a bet weaseled into the plot line and a happily ever after, this one might not be your cup of tea. If all of those things are right up your alley…well, then I hope you enjoy.
Bailey B is an up and coming New Adult author. She lives in Lehigh Acres Florida with her husband, twin girls, and two fur babies. She enjoys (but doesn't get to take part in because of her crazy daughters) the simple things like Disney+ binge watching, Netflix romcoms, reading and sleeping. She reads two to three books a week and thinks if narwhal's are real animals then unicorns might be too.
I loved this book so much! I didn’t like that it started out with immediate sex. I know exactly how Avery felt when she hooked up with people until I met my fiancé. I love their chemistry and I love how they are able to dance together. You definitely have to have chemistry to be able to dance. I loved the TikTok reference thrown in. I for sure cried at the end because I was told I couldn’t have a child and now I have a daughter so I related to their happiness. I love that they adopted as well especially because I was adopted as well.

I like the playlist at the beginning of the book. Avery has a bad year; she decides to go to a bar to nurse her problems away. She is quirky and fun and also loves to dance. But she doesn’t seem to love being back in her hometown. Until she meets Carter. Carter and Avery have a friendly history. Apparently, they knew each other a while ago in school. She is quite forward with her flirting. Wow, this book starts the steamy fast.
Unfortunately, he didn’t live up to the hype his kisses and hot body caused. I guess he doesn’t know how to use his outstanding body parts for her pleasure. This book does jump points of view. Her roommate is a riot. I love the challenge of six weeks with nothing to satisfy her needs. Maybe this will break her string of bad luck.
Carter is in graduate school. Oh, he feels bad about being in his head too much while pleasing Avery. Yes, small world, he gets bribed by his college professor to do a little extra credit. I’m pretty sure that is illegal, but this should be interesting nonetheless.
Avery is also a dancer, and at the studio, she is the one who needs a partner as her former partner hurt himself. Such a good read so far, but it kinda sucks to find a spelling oops, but I did alert the author to it. However, that aside, the antic in this book are very humorous. They have some good times and some steamy times, but I think it will all come crashing down eventually. Wow, this story ended unexpectedly and is so sweet.
This book was a fantastic romance read. The way the author took something tragic that many women deal with and turned it into something unique was beautiful in this story. The magnetism between Carter and Avery burned the pages even without the steamy scenes. I love the sweetness of this story, the quirky characters, and passionate lovers.
Avery moved back to Florida and it’s been one tragic thing after after another and she hardly has any motivation for anything besides dancing. When she sees Carter, an old high school friend in a bar, she can hardly believe how hot he is and the sparks fly between them. Carter’s life isn’t going to well, he’s in graduate school and possibly going to flunk, and his night job as a janitor is ending because of budget cuts. And he can’t stop thinking about Avery. Avery cannot believe it when Carter walks into the dance studio and is her new partner. I just loved everything about Avery and Carter’s journey together. Carter was such a sweetheart and I loved Avery’s determination and spunk, but there were times I wanted to smack her because of her foolish hard head. And I just adored Avery’s roommate Benny. A terrific read and one I highly recommend you read for yourself, you will love it!
“Moving back to my hometown was the best decision for my family…but the worst decision for my vag.”
Never in her wildest dreams did Avery think the hot guy at the bar would be the same boy she knew from grade school. But their sexcapade was nothing short of…disappointment. “A demon cloaked in a sexy body…I was duped.” Face it: Avery was cursed with bad sex.
The worst part was that the guy she had bad sex with also ended up being her new dance partner. Talk about a bad partner in every sense. But Carter wants a second chance to prove he can satisfy Avery. Can he wait until Avery’s celibacy period was over? Could they both resist the temptation?
Funny and wildly sexy! I enjoyed the witty dialogue and the story was enjoyable overall. A nice read!
Temptation by Bailey B a Sublime five-star read. Your heart will beat like music to your ears, the review took me days as I have only just stopped sobbing my heart out!!! It’s so good!!! I have adored Bailey B since I found her writing, she just has a freshness that brings characters to life, no mater the age of the characters they have a maturity to them. The pair in this story are grown ups with all of the dramas that comes with, the temptation in this story, will keep your mouth watering all the way through, and your heart palpating. I for one can’t wait for more from this amazing author.

This is not my first Bailey B. book. I like how simple her reads are. They are not too involved and just really a great escape. The writing and the way the author is able to bring the character's thoughts and motives into our minds and have us understand was so well done. Plenty of emotions and deep romance without the extra.
This isn’t my first book by Bailey B. I have come to enjoy her writing. I was very excited to finally get my hands on this one. The characters are so very real and they are going through real life issues and as a reader you are so drawn into their lives. There was something wonderful about how deep yet easy to follow their story was. I enjoyed this!
