This is a well written story which has family, friendships, emotions, humour, witty banter, drama, challenges, intrigue, undeniable chemistry, romance, and love which all leads to an entertaining, heartfelt, and captivating addictive page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
I like the basis for the story but there are a lot of errors. It really needed an editor. The ending was rushed with a bunch of time jumps and their inevitable reconciliation is one of the most underwhelming things I've read. My biggest complaint about the book is Tyler. He's awful. I hate the leading man who only exists to irritate the female lead. I have no idea why I'm supposed to root for guys like this. This author wants us to feel sorry for him that no one in his family trusts him when he does everything in his power to ensure that they don't. I'm not mad I read it, but the errors, terrible leading man and some rushed, awkward dialogue doesn't get me excited to read anything else by this author.
A bit slow for me but loved the story. Tyler and Hannah know each other from his little sister Clem. Hannah is best friends with Clem and has had feelings for him since she was 12 years old but he never saw her more than a little sister’s best friend. Until a secret comes out and Hannah walks out and he realizes his true feelings many years later. The thing is Hannah doesn’t want to see him anymore. She’s kind of hurt and realizes he doesn’t really care about her at all.
Very good story, well written, flowed so well it kept my interest the entire book. This was my first book by this author (her second book) and I was impressed at how well it was written—-quality writing that is not always seen with too many authors. I would recommend this book to everyone looking for a good story, intelligently written.
This book made me angry and annoyed all in one. Were on off on off. I know the road to happiness isn't easy, but come on. At least the ending made up for the rollercoaster
