Getting lost might just be the best thing to happen to her…
Cameron Going to Aspen Ridge was supposed to take a break and to relax. Instead, I find myself lost and freezing cold somewhere in the woods. I thought that it was luck that had me being rescued by a tall, handsome stranger. Turns out it might be something more than just luck.
Davis When I hear someone screaming for help, I head to help. That’s my job, after all. Except when I find the red-headed beauty, I realize she’s more than just a lost tourist. She’s my mate. Now that I’ve found her and brought her to safety, I need to figure out a way to convince her that she’s not really lost. This place, with me, is exactly where she’s meant to be. I only hope that I can do that before she leaves Aspen Ridge to go back to her real life.
Safe DUAL VIRGIN/ FATED MATES/ ONE TRUE LOVE!! No cheating No OM No OW No gross condom use 1 day separation HEA that leaves you with a smile on your face Sweet, low angst, short read Luna Wilder is an author that writes dual virgin shifter/human love stories and has a track record of respecting the fated mate trope, two people fated to mate with each other and be with each other in all ways, never giving their heart or body to ANYONE before or after they meet the love of their life. They are each others one and only in everything love and lust. She is an author that I trust and reading her books is comforting and safe. Quote (What Davis tells Cameron after he breaches her virginity), “'You’re the only one that I’ve ever been with. You’re the only one that I’ll ever be with.' Her pussy clamps down around me when I say that, and I realize that she likes the idea of us being each other’s only ones." I am full on smiling and loving this!! YES!! This is the story of Cameron a traveler and photographer sick of traveling and living out of a suitcase, saved by our hunky and cinnamon roll sweet, wolf shifter Davis. She was stuck in the snow in the middle of a snowstorm and rolled her ankle, but she was fine. He asks her out to dinner and she accepts, excited for her first date (she has never been on a date before). She thinks about how she felt meeting Davis, quote, "My heart had kicked against my ribs when I first looked into his deep blue eyes. It was like some part of my soul recognized his and knew he was a good guy, someone I could trust." quote (Davis's inner monologue) "I’ve only known this girl for a few days, and I’m obsessed with her already. I want to be with her all of the time. I want to know everything about her." It was love at first sight for our couple! They date, and he tells her about shifter, she is a bit overwhelmed but aching for him. They have a few day of bliss until Frankie, our heroine's bestie who has problems with an abusive father, calls her in tears, so she hurriedly packs to go to her. It is a serious situation and she left to rescue her friend from her father. She in hindsight thought why didn't she just buy a ticket to get Frankie to Alaska. Meanwhile, our sweet broken hearted Davis, thinks she left, but his friends told him, 'Why didn't you go with her?' He shakes off the hurt, and goes to her. Cameron didn't mean to leave forever, like he thought, she just without forethought needed to help her friend, so I am glad it wasn't a trope I hate, the dreaded third act breakup trope. Just a misunderstanding quickly remedied. Frankie will get her story with Gunner, one of our burly, cinnamon roll, sweetheart shifter, she deserves one the sweet girl. We had Niko's story first, now Davis. We need, Ash, Alec, Flint and Gunner's stories next! I cant wait!! I love their brotherhood and how they all support each other. I enjoyed it and recommend the series! I am excited for the rest. I will always say this, as long as Luna Wilder keeps writing, one and only/dual virgin love stories (faithful with no OM/OW history for our main characters), I will read them and sing her praises! Happy reading!
Cameron took a vacation to think about her next steps regarding her job and her life. She gets stuck in the snow and Davis is there to help her. Davis is on patrol as part of the mountain rescue team when he scents his mate. Their attraction and their bond is instant and they fell head over heels for each other. Instalove, OTT, romantic , steamy , fated mates, and safe (fated mates-so dual virgins 😍) with a.seeet HEA and no drama😍😍😍😍😍
• Plot 📖📖📖📖 /5 • Characters: 🫂🫂🫂🫂 • Drama/Angst: 😰😰😰 • Steam: 🔥🔥🔥 • POV: Dual • HEA? ✔️ • Would I re-read? ✔️ • Epilogue? No, but the 11th chapter is 5 years later • Tropes/triggers: shifter, fated mates, insta, mating heat, marking, breeding
I love all of the Luna Wilder series if I’m being 100% honest, and this series is no exception. The same can be said for this particular story (#2 in the series).
The FMC is on vacation and falls into a deep ice drift and when calling for help, the MMC hears her on his rounds to check for lost hikers as he’s part of the Mountain Rescue team. Lucky for him, she’s his mate.
She’s is convinced she’s gonna leave, despite their connection and I’m quite surprised when she actually does. Fear not, things always have a way of working out!
He’s the sweetest mate to her and is super protective. He makes sure she’s always safe and I loved the HEA.
I’m super excited for the next book. It killed me that we didn’t get a resolution for her friend, but it’s understandable since she’s clearly in the next book, so I’ll get my resolution soon enough 😉
Definitely recommend the series and this story.

This is book number 2 of the Aspen Ridge Pack: Mountain Rescue series and focuses on Davis and Cameron. Cameron is in Aspen Ridge on vacation while she figures out what the next steps in her life should be. She is a nature photographer who has spent years traveling around constantly. She wants to be able to settle down and plant some roots but doesn’t know where to start with that. When she runs into some trouble while she is exploring, she comes face to face with her future. Davis is a former military wolf shifter who has moved to Aspen Ridge to work for the Mountain Rescue. When he heard Cameron calling out for help, he knew right away that she was his mate and he was determined to woo her and get her to stay in Aspen Ridge to build a life with him. I love how patient Davis was in winning over his girl. They were perfect for each other! This was a great story and a great addition to the series.

Cameron and Davis’ story is a quick, sweet, and steamy read that captures your attention from start to finish and leaves you feeling happy. As a traveling photographer Cameron is out on a trail when she is caught up by some snow, she finds herself in a quite a predicament, until someone hears her pleas for help. Davis is out on patrol as a member of search and rescue and while his wolf wants to let loose and roam, Davis knows they have a job to do first. What starts as a simple rescue turns to so much more when he catches the scent of his mate with Cameron. While Davis knows he has to play things cool or risk scaring her off he still knows in his heart she is all he will ever want in this life, but will she run when she learns the truth? I liked that even though Cameron was wildly attracted to Davis she still had reservations about things happening too fast until things happen too fast. It was hot and steamy, everything I love about these quick reads and can’t wait for more.

When Cameron gets stuck in the snow after rolling her ankle, Davis rescues her and takes her to his cabin. He knows she is his fated mate. But does she feel it, too? And what happens when she finds out he's a wolf shifter? They had great chemistry, and the ending was very happy after a bit of drama. I loved it and hope we get Frankie's story in the future.

I enjoyed this book. I liked Cameron and Davis together. These two had a great connection and chemistry between these two; and it was not just fate's hand. These two are sweet and steamy together. There was not a lot of drama but when Davis left, Davis wasn't going to let her get away. I am looking forward to more of this series.

A short quick read of fated mates found unexpectedly and all the adjustments that are made to include them in their lives. I liked how they each felt the connection right away, but at the same time, all does not go as smoothly as one would hope. Loved that Davis was so supportive and kind to Cameron, that her livelihood, and friends mattered just as much as their relationship.

Despite the circumstances, fate and Aspen Ridge has brought Cameron and Davis together. Davis has been wanting to find his mate and when Cameron is need of assistance, he finds a way to convince her to stay forever. This was a sweet and charming story.

Cameron is a great character. I love how fearless she seems with all the travel and adventure and just jumping in. Not too mention giving up everything without a second thought to run to a friend's aid. Davis is a great match for her, even if he is a bit of a dunderhead for a minute there.
A steamy shifter story of Davis and Cameron. He rescues her and discovers she is his fated mate. They have a couple of bumps along the way. A well-done shifter read.

Rescuing Cameron when she's lost in the woods of Alaska is the easy part. Forever, takes a little longer. It was a quick read, and it was good. I was a little disappointed with their first time, but that's a me-thing, I suppose.
