As a kid, I wanted to be a writer. After several fun careers, I've finally realized that dream.

It's both easier and more difficult than I thought it would be. When the words are flowing, it's miraculous. I feel like I'm taking dictation, typing the words that are meant to be written.

When the ideas don't come, I go for a run, think about what I would love to read, then start again.

Little by little, stories take shape, characters get into trouble, work their way out, and a book gets written.

Now, with over 17,000 5-star reviews of my books, I feel incredibly blessed that people enjoy my stories.

We also have a fun community on Facebook at AuthorBradLee. I post progress reports of my writing projects plus other fun stuff. Please join us if you're around.

When not writing, I'm an avid hiker and photographer. I love getting out in nature to take pictures.

Non-Stop International Terrorist Action
This book is the second in a series that I hope continues for many episodes. The book was un-put-downable! There are lots of moving pieces to keep track of in this thriller. It involves former SEALS, covert intelligence agencies from many countries, a Las Vegas mover and shaker, and a terrorist bomb maker. I don't want to give away too much, but the action just doesn't stop! Major things go wrong, but obstacles can always be overcome when you're a SEAL. This book shares some background and some characters with the author's other series. It finishes up with a solid ending that points to the next episode and bad guy. I love all of this author's work and the mental movie in the mind that he creates.

A thoroughly engaging read. Mr Lee doesn't get himself bogged down in the all too common military detail like weapons and tactics, leaving the reader to fill in the details themselves. The bones of a new "off the books" intelligence team is there for the taking, if Mr Lee chooses to continue this series. I encourage him to do so. The opportunity to cross over with the "Team of.." series is too rich with possibilities to discount. "Axe" operating with "Bone" is inevitable. Bone also needs Steph watching his back and finally getting a handle on his PTSD.
I hope Mr Lee takes the opportunity to continue this series, further develop the characters he's introduced, and when he feels appropriate, gives his readers a cross-over full-length novel. Having Hailey, Axe, Bone, Harley's boss (who's name escapes me), Steph, Nancy and Bill, Wyatt, Kristine and Dominic (and others) altogether is enticing.

Excellent Writing

Brad Lee did a bang-up job of writing this series. Thomas "Bone" Marks, a retired Navy SEAL, turned Special Ed teacher gets called by his country for an off-the-books black ops mission. The mission takes "Bone" on a series of convoluted escapades from the Arizona desert to Pakistan, to Afghanistan and back. Chasing a murderer of ex-CIA agents to a notorious bomb maker in the Afghanistan desert, contacts he's made during this mission play a major part in saving hundreds if not thousands from an agonizing death planned by the bomb maker. Don't miss this exciting book!

All the making of a new hero to follow.

I can relate with bones character more than I wish to admit. His issues with sobriety, the down time between things of importance in life and trying to find relevance in this life we lead day to day. Common struggle of most men but it’s therapy to read how we can turn the struggles into success. I enjoy the inclusion of the CAG and tie into the Teams books. I can see them weaved together whether purposeful or accidentally.Mr. Lee keep bone and Stephanie moving forward.

Well thought through story

Quite a complex storyline, very separate threads that all come together about half way through the book and then focus on the primary thread until the end
There are a lot of coincidences that make you wonder, but it's a good story and well worth the time to read
Bone goes from barely coping to hard core and at the end others start to suspect he is more than he seems
Addison and the team bring it all together and the focus on Paris is a good sideline to the overall hunt for the main bad guy
Overall a well thought out and told story

Outstanding!

This was my first Brad Lee book. It will not be my last. First, a note to Mr. Lee: I absolutely want to read more with "Bone" and his pink-haired-maybe-girl-friend. I hope That answers your question.

Mr. Lee can write. Character development was great, flow was easy to follow including the flashbacks, research was obviously spot on, and the suspense was nothing short of perfect. This was a joy to read, and I highly recommend "Target Unknown" to anyone who enjoys action thrillers.

Relieved?

Having read all of author Lee’s books, I was surprised and ultimately impressed at how well he wrapped up this ambitious novel. Halfway through, I was a little doubtful of how all the different storylines would come together. But at the end I felt relieved: Lee had skillfully woven everything into a satisfying conclusion. One minor quibble - Bone is not fully developed yet. He’s definitely a hero, just a bit generic.

An Absolute Page Turner.

Author Brad Lee has a way with words, storylines, and characters. He takes you on a journey that you can never quite figure out until you read the final page.

Bone At His Best

The wait was worth it. I didn't think Bone was going to keep going - he, and his life was a mess and it appears he didn't think so either. Lots of villains, Lots of heroes, plots that twist and turn - just what we expect from a Brad Lee book - and he delivered - again!

Great Sophamore Book

“Target: Unkown” is a great second book in the
Target series. You don’t have to have read the first book, this story stands on its own. It’s got plenty of action and interesting characters. The settings become characters too. Loved it. Write another one Mr. Lee.

Classic page turner. I could not guess what was going to happen next. I like the way the new caricatures are developed as the story goes on. Fun to have several stories going on knowing eventually they will cross. Looking forward to the next series.

A sober exciting read.

I recommend this book to everyone who misses John D. MacDonald and Travis Mcgee. Every page was amazing and I can't wait for book 3. Here's to Bone and a long term relationship with Steph.

Details make it feel real

Brad Lee has a way of pulling you into the action as if you were standing on the sidelines watching it all. The characters come alive with all their flaws.

Target Unknown

Just finished book 1&2 and both earn 5 stars. Hope to see more in not only this series but Team of One as well. It’d be awesome to see a new book or series that combines the main characters from both series.
