This newest collection of graphic representations of the fazbear frights series has successfully continued the trend of producing scary and imaginative art to coincide with these terrifying stories we’ve come to love. The first and last stories were great but not really my favorites of their respective books. But the sea Bonnie’s was way better and exceeded my hopes in being one of my favorite overall stories as well.
Jump for Tickets: Another sneaky teen trying to do sneaky things; in this case, trying to rig a game at the arcade to get tickets for a gaming system. Not quite as spooky as some of the others and thank goodness for a break from the on page gore (though it def happened under the platform 🙁)
Sea Bonnies: A little boy wind Sea Bonnies at the arcade and then his brother accidentally ingests them as they consume his body 🤢 what more can I say about that. The illustrations were a little whoosy in the tank at times, and could have had more impact with more definition. But again with the body horror. Eewww.
Find Player Two!: Two kids playing in a hidden maze, and one goes missing but turns out she was stuck in the maze the whole time 😢 if the creepy dude told them he was looking for his daughter, then maybe this all wouldn’t have happened 🤦🏻♀️

The graphic novels have definitely decreased in its good storylines. The graphic novelization of the silver eyes, twisted ones, and the fourth closet were amazing. I had no clue what was happening 95% of the time in this. I mean it was a quick enough read and it was decent enough for a child, It was just plain okay. And none of the deaths made any sense besides the first one.

This book was Amazing! I haven't read any of the fnaf books yet but after reading this it really makes me want to read the rest of the series! There are three stories in the whole book and I'm gonna rate each one. So story one "jump for tickets" was honestly kinda scary. Its about a teenager that wants to buy a new gaming console and to do that he's saving up tickets from freddy fazbears pizza. But there's this one machine all the kids play with called "jump for tickets" the machine was so rigged it gave kids tickets immediately because all you had to do was jump. He couldn't take seeing all these kids get tickets so easily so one night he tried to sneak in the pizzaria to tighten the bolts but the clown anamatronic locked him in the machine. And when the kids came the next day they jumped and crushed him to death.. so Yeah! That's that story. I rate it 5\5. Now the second story wasn't scary in my opinion. Its just about a boy who's little brother adopted some sea bonnies (which are just sea monkeys that look like bonnie) but the sea bonnies ended up eating him And his pet fish. It's kind of generic to me so I rate it 3/5. Now The last story were gonna talk about Scared me alot! It's the scariest of all. a girl and her best freind go to Freddy's and play hide and seek in the vents. But before they're in the vents there's this creepy guy that kept staring at them. And when they're in the vents the guy chases her! She ends up getting away but she leaves her freind behind thinking she can just come out on her own. But she gose missing for 10 entire years!!! One day she decides to go find her freind again. So she drives to freddy fazbears pizza but it has some big changes over the years. Its now a milkshake shop instead of a pizzeria. So when the employees aren't watching she sneaks into the vents and she ends up getting locked in and Nobody can hear her. She then finds her old freinds skeleton sitting next to her. And that's how the book ends. IT WAS SO SCARY I definitely rate it a 100\5!
Another faztastic addition to the Fazbear Frights series. The art, as always, is colourful, well-drawn and doesn't skimp on the horror. In particular, the artist draws scary faces very well - the scary 'kidnapper', Coils the clown etc.
Jump For Tickets is another story where there is an entitled or spoilt protag who pays for their greed with their life. I did like that Colton isn't a complete brat - he clearly does love and appreciate his mum. Sea Bonnies was kind of the clunker in this series although it was alright. I love stories about parasitic creatures and the sea bonnies are a cool idea. Mainly, I felt bad for the protagonist though because he seemed like a sweet kid. Usually, the protag is punished for some moral failing but the protagonist seemed like a good son and brother. Find Player Two definitely stood out as the strongest story. The idea is new and novel, the art is good and I love the jump into the future where the character is returning to her hometown to investigate her past. It reminded me of The Fourth Closet in that regard - another Fazbear story which I enjoyed immensely.
So Fazbear Frights Graphic Novel Vol 5 is yet another great entry into this series. The artwork for all three stories was really well done and def enhanced the story. Now as for the three stories themselves thy were all great I would say my fav is Jump For Tickets. This story to me had the underlying message of cheaters never prosper but maybe that’s just me. The clown was def creepy and just as deadly as any of the other animatronics. The second story Sea Bonnie’s was def creepy and may I say a horrible way to go. Find Player Two really intrigued me because the animatronics had nothing to do with anything just poor judgment and really bad safety standards on the part of Freddy’s. There are def no happy endings in any of these stories. I would def recommend this one to any FNAF fan or fans of horror related graphic novels.
This book was a really fast read, so just know that in case you want to buy. The book was okay, story’s are awesome but weird for FNAF, but that’s how the books are.
The art was wonky, you had to get used to seeing a new art style each story but it was similar so it made it easier to adjust.
I honestly liked this one more than the first graphic novel. I dont know why I jumped from one to five but I did like these stories more. Reminded me of the OG FNAF lore and such. The illustrations and story lines are... unique, but its a great children's book. Love it and will be reading the others in this series.
I liked it better than the 3rd graphic novel, but these stories aren't very well told. Or maybe it's just the art not doing a good story telling job. The 1st story was kinda underwhelming to me. The 2nd one I actually kinda liked. And the 3rd one was also kinda underwhelming. So I'm giving it a 3 star because I liked the second story and the main character in that one.
Solid creepiness, but also some really sad and disturbing moments. All in all, well told stories from the FNaF universe, but I was surprised by how dark some of them were.
The graphic novels help expand the surroundings of what is going on where the written ones seem to throughly enjoyed reading outside the nightmares them sea Bonnie’s are gonna give me.
Can't believe I actually read it all in one night haha, good stories too! My fave was probably Find Player Two because of how devastating it was by the end.
