Dark past
Ok! This one delves a little deeper but still leaves some plot holes, the maid, and their past. I’m pretty sure an entire book could go into printing and biggest- why? Still a good story.

One of my biggest pet peeves is FMCs who don't cuss so they substitute with toddler words. "Oh fudge! Mother trucker! Son of a biscuit!"
I could get past it if it happened once in a while but it was every other page. So annoying. Makes me feel like the FMC is 12. Sucks bc I really like the plot, but I can't.

Wow, wow, wow, wow did I mention wow???
Ok now I loved Luca & Stella, and Dante and Rose, but I think I just found my new favourite couple in the series because Nico and Maisy just blew my expectations!😮💨
If you’ve read the previous books in the series you will know that Maisy is Rose’s friend who she met at work and Nico is Luca and Dante’s half brother. Now in the book prior to this, Nico actually kidnaps Rose and Maisy (I will not spoil this reason as I do not want to ruin the reading experience of the series) and this is where Nicos obsession with Maisy begins👀
And when I say Nico is a man obsessed I do not joke about this, he manuveres his way in to her life by stalking her. Now don’t judge me because I am a fan of this trope👀
Of course Maisy resists but Nico does eventually charm her into becoming his.
The tension and chemistry between this couple is absolutely off the charts. And Nico is your OTT alpha anti-hero. He definitely takes possession to a whole new level.
I want to keep this a spoiler free review but overall I really enjoyed this book. I couldn’t put it down!! 👏🏼

Maisy is finally free of her abusive ex -husband, only to have caught the stalkerish eye of Nico Rossi. Nico has made his interest known, she is his. Maisy doesn't want to be involved with or have feelings for the man who kidnapped her, but there is a side to him she finds herself falling for. Nico is focused on two things revenge against his stepbrothers and Maisy. Will his desire for revenge ruin what he is building with Maisy?
This was entertaining, Nico was a bit much at times that I wondered if he would be reign in his crazy a bit. Maisy was sweet, had a unique way of expressing herself. Action packed with sizzling chemistry.

My expectations for this book were not as high as for Luca and Dante’s books because I was sure that Nico might not redeem himself in my eyes. I was happily proven wrong.
Nico is Luca and Dante’s half-brother and determined to burn King Industries to ground. That has been his goal since he and his brother Marco were sent to the US from Italy to stay with their father but he never showed up. Ever since he learned that his father had been living a happy family life with Luca and Dante and built King Industries as his legacy to his sons but completely disregarded him and Marco.
I refuse to fall for another monster. And despite the beautiful packaging, Nico is a monster. He’s never even bothered to hide it.
There are a couple of main plots going on in this book in addition to the forming of a relationship between Nico and Maisy. First is Maisy’s ex who is still in the picture and harassing her. Second is the vendetta Nico has for his half-brothers. Taking into account the stalking mob boss, harassing ex, Nico’s attempts to overthrow Luca and Dante as well as all the drama with the Chinese, this book is definitely not lacking in events.
Despite the premise being there and the characters being interesting, this book was lacking compared to the two first ones in the series.
“I will find a way to convince you that we are inevitable, so it would make things easier for both of us if you simply gave in now.”

“This is nowhere near over, little fox. We are unavoidable, as inescapable as the ocean’s tides or the inexorable march of time. We are only just beginning.”
Maisy was such a sweetheart and my take on her did a complete 180 because in Rose’s book, for a while, I thought she might have been one of the bad guys. Still, she was not as captivating as Rose was and I guess it has to do with her being a bit of a pushover in my opinion.
Nico was a stubborn hothead which I can kind of get behind. Still, it feels stupid to me that the whole vendetta he lives and breaths began under false pretenses and he never actually followed through to see if he was right or not. Also, the way things were left unresolved with their mom? I guess Marco’s book provides the answer to that but I definitely expect to see some nuclear level sh*t go down from Nico because of her mom’s role in his childhood.

“Give up your war against my best friend’s husband.”
The development of Nico and Maisy’s relationship was subtly and I wanted to have more insight in it from Maisy’s POV. Nico was more obvious because he was stalking her so obsession turned to love is an easy one. Still, I did not really feel their love story and connection as well as I would have preferred to. In the end, Nico was ready to give up everything for Maisy and that, ladies and gentlemen, is what we live for!
Nico Rossi has drawn me into his massive, looming orbit, and I’m helpless to withstand that unstoppable force. Worse, I don’t want to.
For a mafia romance, this book had less spice than I was expecting, even though the spice included in it was quite good. I guess I am just used to all those mafia romances that have a lot of spice in them but, especially if you are not a fan of spice, this is definitely worth a read for any mafia girlie.
In conclusion, go read the series because for a mafia series that is so unknown? It is pretty underrated imho. It’s got enough mafia elements to reming you that it is a mafia romance but the mafia element is not overriding everything else, even though it is a pretty crucial part of the whole book.

This couple had an interesting set up in the previous book and all in all I loved it.
Maisy is on par with the other FMC's in this series. She has some funny curse words. After everything she went through, she ended up gaining a stalker aka the one. 😉
I liked that she didn't show much fear when she received some less than desirable gifts from Nico. She just wasn't afraid of Nico however she was very afraid of the power he had over her body.
Nico was a delight especially when he thought that letting Maisy refuse him and giving her questionable gifts was enough to apologize for what he did in the previous book. 😅
I think he was already too much in love by that point. I love how willing to spill other's 🩸 he was whenever it was warranted but also how possessive of her he was.
I must say I was somewhat skeptical of the promise he gave Maisy and that he would in fact stop his takeover plan but the author surprised me in that regard. The man was too far gone to think about anything but Maisy. 🥰
I wish Maisy told earlier about what she found out but I'm assuming that it's gonna be relevant in Marco's book which I'm very excited for.
What Marco did when he met Maisy was shady but I think I'll get over it soon because of what I've seen so far, he is a good guy but with a lot of resentment inside his heart. I have high expectations for him.
I loved seeing all the previous characters in one place and seeing how they all dealt with each other. I think the whole situation was well handed and I look forward to see more of them together in one place and trying to be a family without deadly looks. 🙃

Maisy has been through the wringer with her ex and being kidn@pped so when she realizes Nico is following her she is mad…but also maybe not? Nico has had one life focus - bring down King Industries…at least until he met Maisy.
I loved Maisy! She was such a fun character her and lack of cursing had me laughing out loud. She was feisty and witty and could go toe to toe with Nico. She had been through so much and she had this connection to Nico that she couldn’t ignore. I loved how she was able to let go and be vulnerable with Nico.
Nico is such a an interesting character. Yes he has a dark/brooding personality and sure he is a little unhinged with st@lking tendencies but he also was all in on protecting Maisy. He was (in his own way) very sweet with her and was able to open up to her. My heart broke for what he went through as a child and how he conflicted he was with continuing his plan to take down King Industries vs a relationship with Maisy.
“Maybe we’re not so different you and I, little fox.”
I loved the scenes where the women put their feet down and make the men talk! It was funny and awkward and a little heart warming too!
I can’t wait for the next book - Wicked King!!

This series absolutely just keeps getting better and better and more plot filled (which I love)! We met Nico during the last book and something huge was announced. He vowed to take down the Valentino’s. During a kidnapping he meets Maisy and he was hooked ever since.
I know Nico was supposed to be hated but something about him intrigued me. I felt that there was more to his story than what Sienna lead onto in the last books. I was super excited for his book and Sienna did not disappoint. Nico was such a complex character with huge feelings, when he saw Maisy he was instantly hooked and was obsessed from the jump. When he locks his eye on something, especially his little fox, there is no getting away. I loved how Maisy was the only person who was able to really let him be real and was able to knock some sense into him. I loved how he would do anything for her even if it means unaliving someone.
Maisy was an absolute adorable character! She never says curse words and is trying so hard to get her life together after her ex husband was not so nice to her. She tried to stay away from Nico and thought he was crazy but when he inserts himself into her life she finds herself falling for him. I love how she got to see his softer side, only for her, I love how she got him to end the feud, i love how she let him take care of her and her problems *cough cough her ex husband. She was witty, fun, and just an amazing person, like she wants to open up a place for battered women like she is absolutely amazing!
This book had the perfect balance of spice, witty banter, hell yeah moments, gut wrenching moments and just a perfect plot. It was fast paced but not like an unrealistic fast paced. This series just gets better and better! I cannot with for playboy Marco and Jia’s book, I love and arranged marriage to lovers trope!!

First off I’m so freaking grateful to Sienna & Grey’s Promotion for this ARC because holy freaking shitzu as our girl Maisy would say!!! This was my first book by her and I can say it will not be the last. Obsessed is an understatement!! I was hooked from the second I started this book!! Even though this book is apart of a series I felt like I didn’t miss out on the first two books, but I know i will definitely be reading them!!
NICO freaking ROSSI!! I loved that man with every fiber of my being!! He was a mafia man, a stalker, a tatted man with long hair and he freaking loved to paint!! Like i was swooning over this man hard freaking core! His dirty mouth made me feel some type of way!! Ugh the way this man was at his knees for Maisy, god I couldn’t even deal!! We also really really love a strong male character that falls first and isn’t even ashame!!! This man gave up his vendetta against his half brothers the Valentino’s for the sake of this woman and if that aint a reason to love him then ya’ll wrong, bye!! And he killed her ex husband because he was a bastard so i dont know what else a girl could ask for!!
Maisy my freaking queen!! I absolutely adored her!! Her using random and cute words to replace the curse words had me literally giggling every time, she was so adorbs!! She tried so hard to stay away from Nico but deep down she knew the attraction between them was more then that. She saw that this man was the only one who could make her feel safe and protected her even when she pushed him away. Eventually she just couldn’t resist him. I mean she took her sweet time because that slow burn, was burning!! She got more strength then me though because i would have gotten in bed with Nico in seconds no questions even asked, lmao!

NICO freaking ROSSI!! I loved that man with every fiber of my being!! He was a mafia man, a stalker, a tatted man with long hair and he freaking loved to paint!! Like i was swooning over this man hard freaking core! His dirty mouth made me feel some type of way!! Ugh the way this man was at his knees for Maisy, god I couldn’t even deal!! We also really really love a strong male character that falls first and isn’t even ashame!!! This man gave up his vendetta against his half brothers the Valentino’s for the sake of this woman and if that aint a reason to love him then ya’ll wrong, bye!! And he killed her ex husband because he was a bastard so i dont know what else a girl could ask for!!

I loved every second of this book the witty banter between Nico & Maisy just did it for me! Not only that but Nico was so much fun to read and see how his character changed and developed as he really started to understand his feelings for his little fox 🦊!! I loved all the ob$ēs$ive/Pøsë$$ive tendencies that Nico had when it came to his little fox… I mean come on he really did give her some of the best gifts 🎁 (the 👁️ scene) was phenomenal I chuckled so hard!! Oh and I reallllly enjoyed the fact that Maisy doesn’t use bad language so when she’s speaking to our unhïngëd bad a$$ and uses words like “mother father, golly, shituz, or bütthøle” I was rolling with laughter!! Just cause it’s a därk romance doesn’t mean you can’t add humor to the mix and I believe Sienna Cross delivered that aspect beautifully!!

Obviously, I don’t condone stalking, but Nico really liked Maisy and was drawn to her in a primal, need-to-protect her, have-to-have-her way so when he continued to look out for her by following her and watching her, I liked it. He did some very questionable, unforgiveable things in the previous book (go read Savage King if you want to know what those things were before you read this book) and Maisy wanted nothing to do with him. She just got out of a horrible relationship and was finding her footing again, and here she found herself attracted to a ruthless mob boss. Maisy is the girl next door, doesn’t swear, is nice to everyone type, so Nico had no clue why he was drawn to her. He sets out to prove to her that he’d never hurt her, and when she is threatened, Nico takes matters into his own hands and demands she stay with him. He makes it very clear that he wants her but never forces her to do something she isn’t comfortable with. The more time they spend together, the more Maisy can see the man underneath the mob boss, and she likes what she sees. At first, Nico set out for revenge on King Industries and wanted to take them down, but he realized there was more to the story with Luca and Dante and started to care more about his relationship with Maisy than revenge. Nico and his brother grew up in less-than-ideal conditions and had to fight for everything they had. He had a lot to lose and had to choose between making enemies with Luca and Dante or making a life with Maisy, and by the end, there was no competition. I adored Maisy and her cute ways of swearing. She was such a good person and had bad things happen to her, yet she held her head high. She’s like that great girl friend everyone needs in their life, and Nico knew right off the bat how special she was. Great read!

Nico was crazy and unhinged the things he would do for his little fox. Love knows no bounds; in Nico's case, he was ready and willing to take anyone down who touched what was his, and Maisy was his. He didn't like when others tried to mess or play with his toy.

Some background, Maisy is an innocent, clean mouthed , gym trainer. Maisy was in a toxic relationship she was getting out of. Maisy and her friend were kidnapped a few months pryer by Nico. Lately, Nico has been stalking her from a distant. He is powerful, and dangerous. Everything that she wants to avoid.
The characters had very good connections, Maisy and Nico grew as characters throughout the book. Each character was very lovable, and kinda had a mysterious kinda of vibe to them. Nico had a very good development in the story.
This book gave during plot, the plot had me flipping, and it was very swoon worthy. This book kinda felt like a dark version of a romcom. The friendships were very real to me, they were extraordinary. Some of the twists I did not expect by a long shot. This book felt like a movie. Even though it was a average paced.
Overall, I rated this 4 stars because I loved the writing style, the 2 POVs, the morally dark characters, and the tropes in the book. But honestly I loved all of the ride.

Maisy is trying to sort her life out after a toxic marriage and crazy ex-husband that she still has nightmares about. Poor Maisy is soooo clumsy 😁 and you had to laugh at her version of clean swearing 🤣 Maisy and her friend were kidnapped months ago by Nico and since then he has started stalking and become obsessed over Maisy. Nico knows he will claim her!
I wasn’t sure about Nico in the beginning but he grew in me. The way he treated Maisy and his gentleness towards her had me liking him. They had chemistry and were great together.
I would have liked to have read the other books in this series first to get more character background, but I will be going back to read them now.

I've loved the previous books in this series and loving all the characters but honestly Nico and Maisy have to be my favourite couple.
If you've read the previous books you'd know that Maisy is Rose's friend who features in Savage King and they meet through work......Nico is Luca and Dante's half brother ( these are the brothers from the two previous books ) in the book before this one Maisy and Rose get kidnapped and Nico is the one who kidnaps them ( I don't want to spoil it for those that haven't read them yet ) but please do read the books prior to this one as you won't get the full backstory of these characters. Nico becomes obsessed with Maisy and when I mean obsessed he literally can't think of anyone or anything else till he has her. He stalks her and worms his way into her life now......I love a good stalker trope ( even tho I have been stalked myself this is no way a trigger for me ) I honestly fell in love with Nico 😍 he has charm believe it or not lol. Can Maisy resist his charm? I know I couldn't 🤣 the chemistry between these two was hot 🔥 he is your dream alpha anti hero believe me you'll fall in love with Nico. Such a good book and to be honest a good series all round.

Maisie, who we have met previously with Rose, has a new problem after separating herself from her horrible ex, Jasper, has a new, determined stalker in Nico! Although the book revolves around mafia families, corruption, violence, and stalking, the book is actually filled with humour. Nico's musing is both ridiculous and concerning! Maisie is in his sights, and she, frankly, doesn't stand a chance despite her determination to flee his endeavours to woo her via determined following about at every single opportunity, legal or illegal! This could be read with eyebrows up in your hairline, but said humour mitigates the worst aspects of his proclivity for turning up absolutely everywhere!!
I enjoyed this read. There was some great banter between Maisie and the ridiculous, and hot, Nico. Add in a naughty twin brothers, nefarious criminals, and taciturn half brother, and you in for a great slice of fun! 💖💖💖💖

This is book 3 in the Kings of Temptation series and my first book of the series. And let me say it was so good I’ve already downloaded the first 2 so I can learn more about those characters. We have Nico Rossi who is hell bend on bringing down his half brother Dante. When he kidnaps Dante’s woman her best friend Maisy is with her. That encounter starts his obsession, he stalks her, he wants to know her every move. Maisy is what anyone would call a good girl, she doesn’t use any foul language which I found very entertaining. Sweet Maisy had been abused by her ex husband, so she is very guarded. Nico won’t take no for an answer and when her ex becomes a problem she allows Nico to take care of it. I always love a good mafia stalker and Nico is the chefs kiss! I tore through this book and I’m so happy I got my HEA.

I have been looking so forward to this book for weeks. I wanted to see what Nico would do to Maisy… And while he sometimes doesn't know how to show what he feels, Nico pleasantly surprised me.
Nico’s soul is a bit battered and worn. He's been through absolutely hell in his childhood for numerous reasons and he wants retribution. Maisy has so much pain to deal with and she's just trying to decide who to trust. Together, they work to slowly weave their brokenness together. Maisy is strong, but that's not always seen. Nico sees all of her and vice versa and it's quite lovely. Their chemistry is absolutely out of this world.
‘Brutal King' is the third book in the series ‘Kings of Temptation.’ While it holds extremely well as a standalone, the other books are incredible as well. I can't wait to learn more about Mario in the next book!!

Now he stalks her to make sure she is safe. Shes in unsavory conditions that she isnt familiar with. But he wants to amend his action but she doesnt trust him. But someone from her past she thought was gone is hiding and wants her back. Will Nico be able to stop the threat and get the revenge him and his twin brother seek? With this book insortnof wanted Maisy to at least outsmart him but he was always one step ahead him. That annonyed me, i just wanted the lady to get once over his head. Lol ah well

There is lots of angst, secrets a desire in this story. She is petrified of her husband Jasper, who is in hiding but she knows he could come after her again. Then there is Nico Rossi who runs to Gemini Corp who wants to take down is stepbrothers' company because his father never wanted him or his brother. This is a book that grabs you at the beginning and keeps you reading to the end. Really good dark romance. Will Nico be willing to do what Maisy wants?

Nico was unhinged, I mean he literally saw Maisy on a date and went and cut the guys eyeballs out... Then sent them in a box to her. If says a lot about my messed up self as I did find that slightly romantic...
The spice between these two was red hot and the way that Maisy gradually broke down her resolve as time went on just made it so much hotter and Nico was just the perfect red flag we love in these kind of books.
I did find Maisys aversion to swearing irritating to begin with but I got used to it eventually as I warmed to her. I loved seeing Nico soften when it came to his girl and I just know Marco is gonna be JUST as hot in the next one judging by the sneak peek at the end.
Highly recommend for stalker romance lovers or those who are into mafia romance. It is a standalone however I'd highly recommend reading the first two so you get the full story.

The plot was amazing, which had me on the edge of my seat, wondering where Jasper went and how Nico was going to end the war between brothers.
The mystery between the family was soooo good. It had me dying to know what actually happened between Dantes dad and nicos mom. Something is obviously afoot, and my money is on Nonno.

Rose is such a bad ass! I had to bring her up she was so unphased by most of the stuff going on, but she made me mad cutting Maisy off like that, slightly hypocritical, but I kinda understand her reasoning.
The plot was amazing, which had me on the edge of my seat, wondering where Jasper went and how Nico was going to end the war between brothers.
The mystery between the family was soooo good. It had me dying to know what actually happened between Dantes dad and nicos mom. Something is obviously afoot, and my money is on Nonno.
I'm very upset we never touched on what Blanca was doing because she's being sneaky. Definitely can't wait to see Marco fall in love any manwh0re like that needs to be taken down a few pegs
