Perfect Image is recovering nicely from the heartbreaking injuries she sustained in the Kentucky Derby, but it seems clear to Melanie and Jazz that her racing career is over. It's time to invest in another horse. But when Melanie falls in love with a colt with a reputation for being a man-eater, even Jazz has serious doubts. Melanie has proven before that she can connect with so-called 'difficult' horses, but this horse is going to test her abilities like never before!
Because her life isn't complicated enough, Melanie has her rock star boyfriend buy her another horse. In what alternate universe does a rock star shower nearly a million dollars worth of gifts on a girl that isn't putting out? That's not how real life works.
Not content on almost destroying Perfect Image, she continues in an industry that chews up and spits out horses as if they were paper.
Jinx is supposedly a descendant of Seabiscuit, which is impossible. He sired very few foals, none of which were any good on the track. That meant most of them wound up eaten, and any survivors did not reproduce. His best known son was Sea Soverign, who made his mark as a movie horse and not a race horse. He had zero foals.
Karle Dickerson, you're a fucking idiot.
What really burned my biscuits was that Hi Jinx's storyline was never resolved by the time the series ended.
