This was a super cute read and a hit in our house — we love all things Bluey, so this one fit right in. The book does a great job introducing Bluey’s family in a fun, friendly way that feels familiar to little fans of the show. The illustrations are bright and welcoming, and the simple writing makes it easy for young readers (or listeners) to follow along. My kids enjoyed “meeting” each family member and pointing out their favorite characters after the story. It’s a lovely addition to any Bluey-loving family’s collection.

This story introduces the extended Heeler family, both adults and pups. The illustrations are cute and colorful as always, but this book might not be as enjoyable for kids who aren't already well familiar with the show, as it makes references to specific episodes. I prefer media tie-in books to have stories that are understandable to kids who may not have access to the source material.

I have seen the show with my grandson, but I didn’t know who all these characters were. I thought they were just friends of Bluey’s, so I actually learn some thing that was very helpful because I also work with young children who watch the show.
