Noelle Carter is looking forward to an uneventful holiday season at the office. But when a secret admirer starts sending her love poems signed, "Your Secret Santa," things take an unexpected turn.
As Noelle navigates the mystery and mixed emotions, she's also juggling relationship issues for her best friend Karole. When Noelle suspects Karole's boyfriend is cheating, secrets threaten to ruin the holidays.
Add in a hostile boss who seems to be out to get her, and Noelle has her hands full.
Will Noelle be able to solve all her problems before Christmas comes? Or will they destroy her holiday cheer for good?
For a minute there, I thought these friends didn’t stand a chance lol. Noelle & her insecurities and inability to not cross boundaries, Karole & her nosey-ness lol. But I had a soft spot for them as they dealt with relationship complications, complicated jobs and more! Fun, quick holiday read.
This was an absolute pleasure to read! I'm so happy with the way things turned out for everyone. I just wished for more. You never know what's going on with others that's why you treat everyone with respect and a smile. Even the smallest gestures can go a long way! Bravo
A quick read that is definitely worth the read. The main female character has issues and assumes a lot. As the say goes she is assuming everything the wrong way. When all the truths come to light then she is stuck trying to apologize for something she didn't do. I enjoyed the storyline even though she can get on your nerves. The author does a great job with character development, and her writing style.
Ever had a wish and just knew it would never happen? Have you ever seen something you were sure was one thing and found out it was totally something different? Inside these pages is all that and more. True friends are revealed and a serious new development leads to a big promotion. Great short.
I liked this quick read. I didn't get suspense at all, just mystery. Noelle worked my nerves a little bit. I was glad when she said one of her New Years resolutions was to work on her communication skills because she definitely needed it. I liked her friendship with Karole. I'm glad she had a hard time telling what she saw because if she did, she would've ruined the surprise. Now, the secret santa/admirer was so cute. The poems were so cheesy but made me smile. I really thought the secret santa/admirer was going to be who she was thinking. I'm glad I was wrong. I enjoyed this story and will be reading more from this author.
Noelle is her own worst enemy. She has an overactive imagination and can create a bad scene in seconds. She really needs to get out of her own way. I loved her, though. Her personality made the story.
A great lighthearted read! Interesting and realistic characters to keep the plot interesting . Perfect length and plotline for the holiday season. Tanisha wraps the ending up so nicely, I could put a bow on it!
This is a quick holiday story worth the read. Noelle is a likable, quirky character who misunderstands many situations. The ending was unexpected, but lovely.
