A watery death. A ghost with four legs and a tail. And a heap of suspects!
Lorna Shadow, Helen, and Flipper have only just begun to enjoy life in their new house with Zach, Jessie the dog, and Gunner, when a job offer arrives and they head off for work in the glorious county of Cornwall. When they arrive, they find an exhausted widow, a sneaky assistant, a mistress, and a mysterious death on their hands.
When Lorna discovers the death of Blake Carlisle was anything but accidental, she must tread carefully to discover exactly what happened to him. Was his affair with a younger woman the cause of his death? Or did a family member want him out of the way to lay claim to the family fortune? And who decided it would be fun to shove Lorna off a yacht and into the sea?
With trouble brewing at home, and a possible marriage proposal on the cards, Lorna has a lot to think about. Not forgetting Helen's 'secret' relationship and figuring out why poor Flipper keeps getting so sick.
Enjoy this fun-filled cozy ghost mystery. Meet a friendly ghost dog and puzzle through the clues to discover the murderer and help the ghost find justice.

K.E. O’Connor is the author of the Witch Haven mystery series, the Crypt Witch cozy mysteries, the Lorna Shadow ghost mysteries, the Holly Holmes baking mysteries, the Zee Town paranormal cozy series, and the Old Sarum mystery series, along with other titles available if you cast the right spell. She can imagine dragons, taste cookies when they aren’t even there, and hear the crack of a witch’s broom at a hundred paces.
K.E. (the K stands for Karen) lives in the United Kingdom (it isn’t very united, but that’s a mystery for another time) among the mystical stones and fairy creatures of Somerset. She graduated from the Universities of Southampton and Reading, where she received degrees in Archaeology and Cognitive Evolution (both highly entertaining to take part in, but with the career options of a ground witch’s toe bone.)

Another great story in the series. This time Lorna encounters a ghost dog and it likes to lie down next to Flipper and that makes poor Flipper crazy. There is a very different murderer in this story and Lorna finds out that the ghost of Zach's dead wife might be haunting their new house. Lorna did not know that Zach had been married before. Could be troubles in their nice new home. I was given an advanced copy of this book and am freely and voluntarily writing this review.
Ghostly Waves is the seventh book in the Lorna Shadow Cozy Ghost Mystery series. After moving into their new house, strange things start happening. Maybe they have a ghost haunting it. Meanwhile, they get a call about a mysterious death. Will Lorna be able to solve this? This is a fast-paced story that will keep you guessing until the end. I really enjoyed it.
This series seems to get better with each book. This fast paced mystery is full of humor and twists. The added complications to the relationships of the characters really opens things up for some interesting reading.
This book started off slow but kept me turning the pages waiting for the ghost to appear. So sorry for the poor ghost dog, he truly loved his master and died with him, all in all I enjoyed this book and look forward to Ms O’Connor next ebook
SPOILER.....I have enjoyed the books up till this one. this latest revelation of Zach's is disappointing and bordering on sleazy, not sure I want to continue reading this series.
Great story. I love the characters. It was a fun change having a dog as a ghost. I'm really enjoying this series of mysteries. I've already purchased the next book. I can't wait to find out what happens next.
