David an his companions must save a life by accepting a quest for time is short .
David ,Diane, an Leigh are asked to accept an quest for the Frontier Division by Caldwell . They accept the quest an set out to complete the hazardous an challenging quest to collect an artifact from a dungeon . With completing the quest an overcoming obstacles a life is saved . Leigh is welcomed into David's homestead after the quest along with Diane as well . recommend reading excellent series .
Good story but the writing started to have issues. Lots of repeats, like one page he says he won’t get lost with the ladies help, then a page later he says the exact same thing.. or when after combat they continue and his summons dissipate… yet a page later he says that his summons dissipate.. little things like that throughout the book that jarred the reading experience.
The Question for Celeste was, I think, the longest and most challenging yet. The variety of obstacles, plus the hints that it may figure prominently in the future made the adventure very enjoyable. Happy, too, at the events that force David to expand the homestead. ‘Bout time!!
Alternate universe, magic, fantasy races, harem adult situations, LitRPG light
David, Diane, and Leigh grow closer, and his magical ability is very useful to their survival. Less magic to help with the chores than expected, as if David preferred the manual labor. Appears there may be a book 4?
I really like these first 3 books. I hope there are more in the works. The progression of the homestead is enjoyable and keeps me laughing. But you got to get them some chickens.😂
Keeping the story flowing evenly through this volume with adventure, action and romance was well done. The characters continue to grow and develop as the story continues. I’m looking forward to the next installment in this series.
I'm enjoying reading this series. Although the sex scenes are pure teenage male fantasy. And way too repetitive. Change location drop in sex scenes. I just skip through them. And the daily chores can be boring. Luckily there's enough stuff to balance out the story
