Amy is a lone lycan whose pack was massacred when she was only a child. Since then, she’s been in hiding as the ordinary daughter in a human family—a family who has just moved to the quiet small town of Lilyview. Logan is an Alpha King, cursed after bearing the blame for the death of a whole pack who murdered his late human lover. The only way to rid himself of the curse is by finding his true mate. What happens when these two—along with a pack of savage rogue wolves—all cross paths one fateful night?
I hadn’t appreciated it was a trilogy until quite late in reading it as it was presented as a single story in the app I read it in. Amy and Logan worked well together, although her nickname for him jarred every time she said it, just did not feel like a grown up name. Petty I know. The tale fulfilled an epic story involving many characters and wrapped up pretty well at the end although it seems Amy’s non wolf past was mostly forgotten. The characters both needed a lot of growth which did happen, I think it all could have been tighter and I struggled early on with it feeling they were written as much younger than they were.
These books were so good! I read all 3 books in a matter of hours. The story made me laugh cry and angry but in a good way! The only thing I didn't like was it being in 3 books. The books are short and to be honest the story could have been done in 1 book but I still loved the story and highly recommend it I look forward to reading more from this author
2nd time reading this book. Lots of twists and turns. Family secrets. Love. War. The only downside of this book is I don't think it needs the last few chapters.
