I thought this book was pretty generic. It had alot of actionable insights you can use for a relationship even if it isn't a spouse.
I did not know this was going to be Christian based but wasn't too preachy as it could have been. For that, I was grateful.

I would not read this book again as I feel that there are other books that were recommended that would have the same information in it.

The 14 Rules for Effective Communication were great and I plan to write those down and continue to build on and expand on them in my relationships to not repeat my same mistakes.

Would recommend to people if they can catch this book on sale or for free. Would not buy this book as I got this in a bag of books sale.

Some good actionable techniques. A bit too preachy. Glad she could monetize her marriage story.

Outstanding practical advice on navigating marital relations. An excellent how to book filled with real techniques. This is a manual to keep and refer to on a consistent basis.
