I was very kindly gifted this book by the author in exchange for an honest review 🫶🏻
The premise of the book is great and it definitely has potential to be an amazing YA fantasy series. It was super wholesome & the plot twist at the end was really good!
This book definitely is on the younger side of the YA scale and would be more suited to be read by those between the ages of 12-16. However there is a lot of use of explicit language, which I feel is a little out of place and not needed.
The pacing was also a little too fast for my liking, I found it difficult to keep up with what was going on at times! It would have been nice to explore in more depth what was happening during certain points before it moved onto the next part of the story.
It's definitely a great starter novel for a new indie author!
Wow, what can I say??? This book is AMAZING??!!!? From the uniqueness (and I do really mean unique! I've never read a book with this concept before but it's just so beautifully written) of the story to the really cool characters and fast paced writing in general! - I just have to love it!! The characters we are introduced to are all very put together in terms of where they stand in the story and the relationships progress throughout the book (ifkyk 😌). Being sucked into this magical world that could literally exist in our real world ( which makes it even more exciting) was such a great experience. The dream dimension, the dream Weaver, the memories, it's all so ... Incredible?
The story is about Luna and the dream dimension. She seems to be connected to it but why? How? And what even is it? And that girl with the red hair, who is she?? While reading this book you go on an adventure with the characters and try finding out about everything in real time (just like the characters). The book has about 200 pages and one can definitely speed through it because ever chapter is just as interesting as the last - one just has to continue.
I rate this book ⭐⭐⭐⭐ because I loved the concept and characters. It's not a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ -read because I think this story could have been told at a slightly slower pace with more in depth details. But all in all it's a great read one should definitely check out if one's looking for a unique fantasy read. (Especially if one is a dreamer oneself 🤭)
I gave this book a 1 star due to many reasons, if the concept wasn’t so intriguing I wouldn’t have even given it 1 star. Unfortunately to me the writing style (even though it is YA) is too childish. The pacing of the story is rushed to the point where you don’t know what is actually going on or even who the characters are half the time. The main character is 18 but acts like a 13 year old and uses swear words where they are definitely not needed. All the way through the parts of the book I did read you had information contradicting itself and repetitive mannerisms cited constantly. There was a dog I believe brought in at some point referred to as ‘Sam’ but I can’t be sure because this was never explained before ‘Sam’ laid down on Lunas feet? Also, Luna is supposed to be figuring out something or other about her dreams and it seems she knows more than the author means to project to the readers? Honestly a very confusing read, poorly written and unfortunately due to these reasons as well as the reasons mentioned above, I could not finish the book. Due to the author reaching out and asking for a review I felt I should still leave my thoughts as other readers may feel differently.

When I was kindly asked to read and review this book, I was very excited to do so just by reading the blurb (which we all know I never do!)
This book was a magic and enchanting read. It was a great YA fantasy starter read and for those who are YA or new to the fantasy genre I would highly recommend starting here.
There were slight points which I think could of used a little more thought and certain areas of the book came across a little childish and because of that I’d put this book in the category of 12-16 year olds. But I’d say it was a great starter novel for the new indie author 🫶🏻
Aria and Luna have an undeniable bond but why were they bought together? The story was wholesome and I really enjoyed the twist at the end and I look forward to more unraveling storylines in the following books.
Worlds Within Dreams by Sara Pucci is the first book of the Dream Dimension Saga, a young adult fantasy series that explores the connection between dreams and reality. The story follows Luna, a bored and lonely teenager who feels trapped in her mundane life, and Aria, a mysterious girl with red hair who appears in Luna's dreams and guides her to a magical adventure.
The book's plot is engaging and original, with twists and turns that keep the reader hooked. The author creates a vivid and imaginative world of dreams, where anything is possible and nothing is as it seems. The book also explores themes such as identity, destiny, friendship, love, and freedom, and delivers messages about finding one's purpose, following one's heart, and trusting one's intuition.
The writing style is clear and captivating, with a smooth and fluid narration. The author uses descriptive language and sensory details to create a vivid picture of the dream world and the emotions of the characters. The dialogue is natural and witty, with humor and sarcasm that lighten the mood. The book is easy to read and understand, with a simple and straightforward vocabulary and grammar.
This is an enchanting and heartwarming YA fantasy adventure. There's elements of sci-fi and mystery woven throughout the story, and a creative world that makes you question reality as the characters travel in dreams and dimensions. Aria and Luna have a powerful bond connecting them across time and space, and form a beautiful friendship as they strive to uncover the secrets of their connection and their growing powers. It's an endearing journey of self discovery, embracing destiny, and overcoming adversity, and tackles difficult topics including trauma and loss. This was an exciting introduction to the saga, and with a startling revelation at the end and more mysteries to unravel looking forward to the next book.
This book is an incredibly captivating read that combines the allure of YA fantasy with a compelling coming-of-age narrative. The presence of magic and unexpected twists adds an extra layer of excitement and intrigue to the story.
The author unquestionably possesses the skill to create an enchanting tale, complete with a well-crafted world and a powerful bond between characters. The fact that this book showcases the author's prowess in storytelling and world building is truly commendable and made for a fun and exciting book!
If you're in search of a captivating YA book that will transport you to a world of adventure and excitement, then this is the book for you. This was an absolute gem with its engaging storyline, well-developed characters, and a touch of magic ✨
The book reveals us a new world where dreams are involved and it is very unique. The characters are very well described and the plot is amazing. It is a perfect young adult read. It doesn’t have any spice scene (could have avoided the swear words though). I think the other parts of the book gives answers to the questions a reader gets through this book. I like the bonding between Aria and Luna and how adventurous Luna is. The final twist is definitely going to be a shock. Although one could argue with the pace of the plot, I am expecting this to be justified in the next part.
I received a complimentary copy of the book from the author and Hazel’s book tours in exchange for an honest review. All the opinions are my own
I was initially really intrigued by the title, it made me curious about where the story would take me. I found the concept of traveling between dimensions in dreams so be such a cool idea! I was so fascinated by what was going on with Luna and I had so many questions! I loved how piece by piece my questions about other characters, especially Aria, and the other dimensions came to light. I was really able to get lost in the story and picture the scenes in each dimension so vividly. I absolutely loved the plot twists and the mysteries within this book! I truly had such a fun time reading this book and I’m looking forward to the sequel! This book gets 5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from me!
I was sent this by Sara, and actually really loved it!!
The story was fun, the worlds were rich and exciting and I loved seeing Luna’s journey.
My only feedback would be that the pacing was too fast, there were really cool environments and characters that it felt like we blasted through. It would’ve been so nice to just sit with the characters for a bit to deepen the moment, rather than going really fast from one plot point to the next.
And all these plot moments, I want to know more!! Every one sounds magical and I hope the sequel(s?) explore them more.
Very happy Sara reached out, I had so much fun reading it. Very thankful
So have you ever finished a book feeling a cliffhanger even though you could have not felt one? This is our case. I cannot explain more but it is like at the end, the author explained everything and still left everything open. As for th book I loved it! Loved the atmosphere, the touches of magic, the plot twist (wow) and the second one. Although I would have said the second was more predictable somehow. Enjoyed the descriptions, the dreamy realm, the tension. And I am definitely waiting for the next one to come.
What can I say? This made me emotional. It's such a sweet story and being a dreamer myself, this book gave me hope... after all magic exists and there's more of what the eye can see. Can't wait for the book two to come out! 🧡🧡🧡
I read this as part of Hazel's Book Tours. Thank you for giving me the opportunity.
Worlds Within Dreams was a book I truly enjoyed the premise, I liked the MFC even though she did give spoiled vibes at times; but the pacing threw me off. I don't know if it was because it took me a little bit to get into it at the start, or maybe the start is slow; but by the time the middle hit, to me the story blew by and as someone who loves fast paced to me it was a little too fast and I wanted more. The same goes for the ending. Though I know that it's because it's part of a series, well, I hope that's the reasoning of all the questions and wanting it left me with. I loved it, although it was a little predictable once I found out the secret on who the Red Head girl was. Though I thought it was sweet, and I am all for it.
The plot and story were good, and I feel well planned. I think the pacing is the oddball in the equation. The villian twist.... Oh. My. God! This is a YA read, but I think it could even suit middle grade. It was a great little fantasy read.
Thank you for a chance to read this, and hopefully, I can read the next instalment.
3.5⭐️ I thought this was a cute story, magical and cozy all at the same time. I enjoyed the elements of the real world mixed in with the fantasy world. I think a lot of people can relate to Luna. Fresh out of high school and figuring out what to do next, legally an adult, but a teenager still. This mysterious and unexpected journey Luna finds herself on gives her a sense of purpose she's been looking for, and that was probably one of my favorite things about reading this book. This also gave Sailor Moon vibes. At least part of it, in regards to the friendship between Luna and Aria, the amulets, and the events during the climax of the story.
