Still too much repeating of love declarations and the words soul bond but very glad there was more actual plot in this book. I appreciated more family members been introduced and the tensions with the other gods 🙏 It was much better in the second half and I enjoyed the battle at the end.

I was not ready to say goodbye to this trilogy.

I’m still not over it. It was so bittersweet seeing the HEA.

I cannot thank Dakota enough for giving me the opportunity to ARC read for her.

I was on edge for most of this book. Thinking the absolute worst was gonna happen.

There were moments of where I thought oh god she is gonna pull of the ultimate author move and kill off a main character but she didn’t came close to it. But didn’t.

The ending was perfect.

Where do I even begin.... What a wild ride of emotions this series has led me on. I'm so happy I got to see it through to the end, but am also so heartbroken that this is in fact the end. First and foremost, thank you Dakota for sharing this beautiful story with us. Thank you for including me in this amazing journey. Getting to know these characters and you has been so wonderful!! You have genuinely become one of my favorite people, you have the kindest soul and the most beautiful mind.

Oh, Nell. My badass, loving, determined, sassy, bullheaded love. I fell more in love with her through each story. Her resilience and strength is so inspiring. Sometimes her stubbornness had me yelling through my kindle in the previous stories, but it was so beautiful watching her work through her traumas and her inner battle with herself, and watch her turn into the strong badass she is, and finally take what she wants.

Cas and Em... UGH. In the chat we all talked about the boys and I had said I was definitely an Emrys girl. After reading through the whole series though, I'm conflicted! As much as I love Em's broodiness, and take no shit personality... Casmir has truly grown on me. His silent strength, always knowing what the others need, what an amazing prince he is.. how can I girl ever choose? Guess I'll have to take both, too!

XAMIRA I LOVE XAMIRA. I LOVE XAMIRA. I LOVE XAMIRA. I want my own Xamira. I love the boys of course, but no one can underestimate her. Her unwavering love, support, and understanding. She is also so sassy and funny without even trying.

I love this book so much, and feel so honored to have been here for this ride. READ THIS!!!!! YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!!!

The perfect ending to a very dark and very spicy series!

This book moves just as quickly as the 2nd book in the series, the action and spice start right away. And by right away, I mean page one - the very first line will have you kicking your feet with glee!

While this book is emotional with it's fair share of tragedy, I'm very happy with the ending. No spoilers though, so I won't say anymore!

If you enjoy dark and seriously spicy romantasy, you'll love this series and especially this conclusion to it!

The final book in The Curse of Gods series, and I knew it would be a doozy just off the title alone.

There was definitely loss in this book, and painful memories came up for some of the characters, but a lot of closer that was needed was delivered.

Overall series rating: 4 ⭐️

"Of War and Realms" is a compelling dark romance novel penned by the talented Dakota Monroe. At the heart of the story is a beautiful female goddess and two strong, handsome men who are soul bonded for all eternity, whether they chose to accept the bond or not.
This book serves as the grand finale to the much-loved Curse of Gods Series, successfully concluding a journey that has captivated readers. The narrative focuses on Nell, a character who is still grappling with her traumatic past. As she stands at a crossroads in her life, she must make a heart-wrenching decision between her soul-bonded partners, Emrys and Casmir, or to leave them behind for her divine ascension.
The love that Nell feels for Emrys and Casmir is deeper than anything she has ever experienced. Their companionship provides her with a sense of home and belonging, feelings she had been unfamiliar with until now. However, before she can claim her heart's desires, she must confront her past trauma and battle Andras, a fallen god who has unleashed a realm of demons upon her world.
This climactic battle tests Nell's courage and resilience, raising the question: will her love be enough to ensure victory, or will they all succumb to their doom?
Dakota Monroe has once again proven her skill as a storyteller, creating a beautiful yet dangerous fantasy world that leaves readers on the edge of their seats. Her characters are complex, relatable, and enchantingly human, making this a must-read for any fan of fantasy romance.
In conclusion, "Of War and Realms" is a testament to Dakota Monroe's talent as an author and her ability to weave a tale of love, sacrifice, and resilience in the face of adversity. It is a thrilling ending to the Curse of Gods Series and a book that will leave readers yearning for more.
I want to thank Dakota Monroe for giving me this opportunity to read this amazing ARC.

I’m sad this series has ended & im not ready to leave it 😭 This book was such an epic ending to the series!

I am a why choose girly at heart and this series gave me that. I am obsessed with the MMC’s. They are mean to everyone but the FMC & are protective of her. They are not too over protective and allow the FMC to take care of the issues at hand especially if she can do it herself.

This series has fae, gods, memory loss (temporary), found powers, fated mates, battles, training scenes, & 🌶️🔥👀. I also can’t forget about a VERY HATED enemy that I wanted to send to the depths of Tartarus myself 🤣 if you are looking for something similar definitely check out this series. Also, who can ignore such pretty covers?!?

Also, definitely check trigger warnings on this one !!

10 out of 5 ⭐️
For the sake of this review I GUESS I'll put 5/5 ⭐️ though since they won't let me rate any higher 🙄
🌶️ 🌶️ 🌶️ 🌶️

The third and final book in the Curse of Gods series did not disappoint, it is bittersweet to say the least. I am happy for the closure but sad that the series is finally finished and I won’t be in Anloria anymore with my favorite trio and Xamira.

Dakota really wanted you to feel every emotion in this book.. and what tear jerking twist I never saw coming toward the end, did I cry? Yes I absolutely did. I refuse to give away anything in this review because it is better to experience the final book blind for the best effect. I will say that this one does not miss with the spice though. 🥵

Dakota’s writing style is probably one of my favorites. She easily pulls you in and hooks you on every word. Her world build is just enough that it doesn’t get boring or repetitive like some fantasy books can feel. Her plot to spice ratio is absolute perfection. Her ability to pull every emotion in one book is impressive.

She will forever be a “must read” for me.

Not sure why this warranted a whole other book, it could have been a duology. It was difficult to hold my interest so despite it being the shortest of the three, I think I took the most time to finish it. By the end I was just relieved. Somehow this book was both longer and shorter than I needed it to be, I needed more plot when it was more character driven but that could just be me.

I am so upset that Cas, Em, and Nells story is over but I just loved how it ended. This was such a beautiful ending for their story. I loved everything about this and so glad Andras got what that mother f**ker deserved!

I don’t even have enough words for this book! Which is saying something because I tend to have a lot to say!!

I’m obsessed with this author and this series! I am SO beyond sad to end our journey with Nell, Cas, Emrys, and Xamira!

This book starts off with a fabulous scene and the spice throughout the book does NOT disappoint! The action through the book keeps you hooked and it will leave you sitting on the edge of your seat. These books were so addicting for me that I could not wait to be done with work just so that I could dive back in and emerge myself in all things COG!

The ending was *chefs kiss*🤌🏼 I absolutely loved this book and the other two in the series and I will always, 💯 recommend Dakota Monroe!

4.25⭐️ best book in the series and a great conclusion to Nell’s journey. I really loved her growth and the relationship development between Emrys and Cass and Xamira.

A perfect series for anyone who enjoys dark fantasy romance, it has plenty of triggers though so check before reading.

Words cannot begin to describe how much I LOVE this series. I was in love with the first two books, but this one???? What a way to end a story. It was truly all I could have asked for and more. The author does such an amazing job keeping you on the edge of your seat, needing to know what happens next. I am not typically one to finish a book in a day, but I couldn’t help myself with this one… forget sleep, I needed answers!

There is so much character development in this series, it’s incredible. You think you’re signing up for a cute, little romantasy, but you are getting so much more with The Curse of Gods series. The three main characters go through HELL, but they somehow manage to always be there for each other and continue to have such a strong bond. And let’s not forget the spice! I am absolutely a WHORE for spice, and this book definitely did not disappoint. “Get me wet, prince.” Like?????????? If that doesn’t sell it, I don’t know what will 🤚🏼

I am so sad that this series is over - I wish there was more to the story, but I am so excited for the author’s next project! The things I’ve seen about Shadows of the Crown have me thinking I will love it just as much, if not more than this series… and that’s saying a lot.

I HIGHLY recommend this series to everyone. It’s definitely worth the rollercoaster of emotions you will go through lol. Though, if you do decide to dive in, make sure to check the trigger warnings, as this story contains some difficult topics.

I absolutely loved this series as a whole! This last book was the perfect ending to a perfect series! The writing and the story is captivating, gut wrenching and overall a rollercoaster of emotions!

This is the part we're we see all the justice we dreamed of being served being dished out! And boy was it glorious😂 Nell is so strong and brave to do what she had to do to keep those she loves safe! Emery's will always have my heart, he is just absolute perfection! And the prince🥵 he's everything you want in a book bf!

This is a story full of healing and rage. We get to see how Nell has dealt with everything she has been put through and still get her HEA. The battle was action packed and had me on the edge of my seat needing to know what happened next. And that ending was 🤌

I cried my eyes out through most of this book so here's your fair warning😂

I'm so glad to have read this book and go on the journey @authordakotamonroe took us on. This series will always be special to me.

Hands down a 5 ⭐ read and I will reread this series anyday!

This is the final book in The Curse of Gods series and cannot be read as a standalone.

I recieved an ARC for this book and in excange i'm giving an honest review.

This book contains some darker themes and healing after a traumatic event. Please beware of triggerwarnings before reading this book.

What an amazing ending to this already great triology! The twists and turns and how the build up all led to this amazing ending is truly amazing! I laughed, I cried, I gasped, I got angry and wanted to throw my ereader to the wall, I got hot and botherd at most of the spicy bits, because mannn.. it was spicy🥵!

Of War and Realms by Dakota Monroe is the third and final installment of The Curse of Gods series that truly does go out with a bang. What a heartbreaking and yet beautiful conclusion to the series that has lived rent-free in my head since I cracked open book one Of Bonds and Daggers. The War has finally come… will Nell and her bonds survive?

Currently grieving over the end of this series while also feeling closure if that makes sense? I truly loved the pacing, the character development, and the energy of the book. Also Cas and Em will forever have a place in my feral heart. (Yes, I am currently crying as I write this and my feelings are valid, okay?! 😭)

Tropes/vibes:

My heart is still in recovery from this one. Dakota has such an incredible writing style that really brings these characters to life in a special way. This was an amazing series that really has a special place in my heart. I do not think there was a better way this trilogy could have closed. This beautiful book pulled on the heart strings, had such strong emotions throughout, & of course came saddled with the perfect amount of spice & banter. Dakota is a master at finding the perfect balance to give you everything you could want in the spice department without leaving you feeling like the plot is being neglected to do so. Thank you so much for giving us such a beautiful story with amazing characters. I am so happy I picked your books up. I cannot wait to see what her upcoming books will hold.

Casmir, Emrys, Anellah, and Xamira..

This was a beautiful end to a group of people I never expected to be attached to. I started this series back in January trying to get into the fae world before I read another fae series and became instantly hooked.

The spice. The plot. Everything about this series and this specific book is pure perfection.

I will always want more from Dakota and this series, but it was a beautiful ending to a beautiful story.

This has everything you could ever need. Spice, plot, sassy fae males, a strong FMC, a wicked smart feline, and a nasty villian.

I would recommend this book anytime, any day of the week to anyone wanting to get out of a reading slump or escape reality for awhile.

*This is the third book in the series and you should read the other two first.*

What to expect:

I’m sooooo sad that this trilogy is over but oh my god it ended so perfectly. This book was intense, sexy and tied everything up in a perfect bow. I screamed, I cried, and I laughed.

The spice was absolutely SPICING! Dakota never disappoints with the spice 🌶️

Nell and Emrys were both faced with deep rooted personal demons from their past. It was amazing how the Dakota was able to navigate these characters through those struggles, I could literally feel what they were going through.

The final battle was EPIC, heartbreaking but epic!

I wish I could go back and read these books again for the first time 🖤🤍🩶

I received an advanced copy, and this is my honest review.
Wow, what a conclusion to an action-packed series. We have a combination of woman empowerment, where she doesn't need her men as she is a powerhouse within herself, but they are still their supporting her the entire time. And we also have amazing mental health representations. Anellah is portraying the blunt aspects of how abuse affects mental health and the constant battle to overcome the wish to just end it.
"How do you f*ing continue living when those you love fell of the train a few stations back?"
Beautifully done, I can not acknowledge enough how much the scene this was in spoke to me.
Absolutely powerful series full of plot and spice (Dakota even provides a cheat sheet on where to find the spicy!) 100 percent recommend!!!

Although this story has ended, Nell, Cas, Em, and Xamira will forever live on in my heart. I'm sad that I read this series so fast and now it's over but the ending was so worth it. There really is never a dull moment with these four and the smut was really rubbing the spot, if you know what I mean.

Thank you to Dakota for allowing me to be an ARC reader and getting the chance to live life through their perspectives! I applaud her (you) for writing such enticing and thrilling novels that have you never wanting it to end. A 10/10 read and can't wait to get my signed copies (also waiting for a meet & greet in HTX coming soon).

To Nell, I wish her more than any goddess allows and hope I can find my own Xamira to be with me through thick and thin. I've already found my soul bond ;p.

What a great way to tie up the series.

I was happy that the relationship between Anellah, Casmir and Emrys grew even stronger and how they can come to peace with everything that happened.

This book was a quick read and easy to get through and had just the right amount of spice🌶️

The book was filled with emotions. I was laughing at the humour Anellah uses in her internal monologue and feeling sympathetic at times when she faced the horrid memories of her past but I am over the moon that she overcame everything.

Thank you Dakota for sharing this wonderful series with us and I’m blessed to be apart of it.

Ugh this book was so good! It's the final book in the series and it's about the war. You actually get to meet more of the gods and goddesses and you learn a few more twists in there that I never knew. It honestly took me just a couple hours to finish this book and I loved it. I felt like the author closed out the whole series perfectly. Leaving no things unturned so you don't have questions at the end and thinking well what about this! I say read this series it was really good! If you love gods and goddesses, about soulmates or as the book says soul Bonds, and finding HEA. Just remember though some of these books do have trauma warnings in them so take care!

I am saddened that this trilogy is over but was relieved that it ended so perfectly. Anellah, Cas and Emrys will definitely be remembered. The final battle was heartbreaking but definitely epic! Once again Dakota put me through a range of emotions while reading this book while still having the perfect amount of spice and banter.
