My favorite volume of the manhua so far. So many cute moments! Reminds me why I love this story so, so much and will consume it over and over and never get tired of it. I think MDZS fans are so lucky to have this story told in novels, live action, donghua, and manhua.

Adorable! Wei Ying being overly happy just by seeing Wangji in the Empathy, and then Lan Zhan with his subtle movements of care and love. I'm so screaming!
Also, Nie Mingjue is such a daddy. I believe him and Lan Xichen have explored their bodies at one point in their life.

Amo como se mezcla en cada tomo un toque cómico de romance con una parte del pasado que siempre resulta ser trágica y sangrienta.
Aquí tenemos la revelación del significado de la cinta del clan de Gusu y aunque sea la padre más tierna de la historia, después viene el secreto de uno de los personajes más enigmáticos debido a su comportamiento. Por lo que el final siempre no deja con ganas de ver más de la novela adaptado.

We’re getting into the meat of the story and it hurts my heart. Mingjue deserved so much better. Damn Jin Guangyao, I’m so glad he gets what’s coming to him in the end. The next volume is going to be an emotional nightmare.

By the time you get to the 7th volume of a series, it’s hard to say anything new about it, and who’s really looking for sample reviews to judge a book’s readability by now?
That being said, as a show watcher who has not yet read the novel, the changes to events as I know them have become big, startling and fascinating to see. Changes in how Meng Yao left Nie Mingjue’s service and what happened to end the Sunshot Campaign in particular strike a different note as to how 3Zun came to be and under what circumstances which will reach tendrils to the end of the story.
I will note, however that NO version I’ve experienced so far has done a thing to convince me that the various arms of the triangle weren’t deeply in love with each other, which is really the only way any of it makes sense.

Cómo siempre me quedan muchas dudas y eso hace que obviamente necesite el libro que sigue!
Siento que en este volumen nos muestran mucho del cariño que le tiene Lan Zhan por Wei Wuxian, lo que significa la cinta, el muñeco de papel y el beso.
Lan Zhan es muy tímido por lo que se perdió muchas oportunidades de hablar con Wei Wuxian antes de que quede la escoba y ahora que esté lo ve desde lejos se da cuenta de todo, significa que siempre le gustó!! Y bueno el beso desde el muñeco de papel claramente es que Wei Wuxian también le tiene ganas!

It’s so sad that Nie Mingjue was the only one who saw Meng Yao for who he really was. If only he could get others to believe it at the time, so many things would have turned out different.

Aunque no supero que no ponga shijie o este tipo de términos :"(, porque para occidente llamar hermano a alguien lo hacemos por relación de sangre, y aquí hay diversidad por lo que hace a ese sentido, y al traducirlo literalmente se pierde, desde mi punto de vista, por eso no acabo ni acabaré de entender el porqué traducirlo, sé que es por acercar al lector, pero siento que así lo pierdes en contexto y en profundidad y relación con el tema cultivación.

La trama cada vez se va desentrañando, a la historia principal siempre se le van uniendo tramas secundarias que elevan la tensión.
Para leer esta historia hay que estar bien atento porque en cualquier momento te puedes perder.
En esta parte conocemos la historia de Jin Guangyao y de Nie Mingjue. Ellos junto a Lan Xichen fueron conocidos como la tríada venerada, hermanos juramentados.
El cadáver que Wei Wuxian y Lan Wangji están uniendo es nada menos que Nie Mingjue. Estando ellos en la torre de la carpa dorada del clan Jin, Wei Wuxian decide explorar y conocer algún secreto. Es ahí donde descubre la cabeza de Nie Mingjue.
De repente se ve transportado por Empatía hacia el pasado y ve la interacción entre Jin Guangyao y Nie Mingjue que se puede resumir como tensa y extraña.
Para leer esta historia hay que estar bien atento porque en cualquier momento te puedes perder.

Wow, ya estaba muy perdida en el inicio porque ya hace tiempo que me vi la serie y casi un año de leerme el otro volumen. Aún así con el paso de las páginas conecté de nuevo y entendí cada parte de la lectura que pertenecía a la serie, que sinceramente para mí me es de gran ayuda cuando estoy leyendo, al menos en esta ocasión.
Aunque no me acuerdo tanto del anterior volumen, creo que este gana por poco a su predecesor, pero todavía no son cinco estrellas redondas creo.
Lo que más amo de sumergirme en estas hermosas ilustraciones (que me han encantado todavía más esta vez) es ver que la relación es abiertamente romántica, notas que hay un gusto y atracción mutua, cosa que por razones obvias (que no deberían ser pero bueno...) censuraron en la serie y agradezco conocer ahora.
Por ejemplo, la persona que está sustituyendo cierto personaje (siempre intento no hacer spoilers, pero así yo me entiendo.) se digamos "pasó" con un hombre, cuando en la serie dan a entender que fue con la mujer del mismo (cosa que no sabía, pero que me resulta interesante de conocer). Destaco la evolución de una relación que se nos ha mostrado, (que involucra a un personaje protagonista y alguien menor que él que en otras circunstancias... Tendrían realmente una relación más... familiar) donde podemos ver el lado tal vez más humano de algunos personajes y nos hacen pensar en lo que pasó y cómo serían las cosas.
Ya se está encarrilando todo perfectamente y la verdad es que aunque entender las cosas lleva su tiempo, me parece que vale totalmente la pena.
Sigo amando a Wei Wuxian, después de conocerle la primera vez ya me identificaba con él en muchos puntos de su desarrollo y ahora pudimos ver más de él.
Cómo de crazy es la historia de Meng Yao, había olvidado un poco y madre mía lo que se viene... El fantasma sin cabeza también es una trama que me interesa bastante.
Mi fangirl interna ha sido muy feliz con los guiños, detalles e historias del pasado que nos ayudan a comprender mejor a los personajes. Y esa viñeta final, si es el momento que creo que es soy lágrimas. Me arrepiento de haber dejado de lado durante tanto tiempo esta maravillosa historia.
También me hace reflexionar constantemente sobre la naturaleza humana, el bien, el mal, las consecuencias de nuestras acciones, los principios de cada individuo y sus objetivos, que te pueden llevar a sacrificarlo todo.
El recorte de papel es muy cute y ha habido escenas dignas de chillar de la emoción.
Estaba desencantada y desinteresada porque me había leído y visto ya todo, pero ha valido completamente la pena volver a este mundo.
Las cosas vistas desde otra perspectiva cambian mucho... Que se lo digan a Wei Wuxian.
Pd:de verdad que eligen el peor momento para cortar el capítulo :'(

It's so wonderful rereading the manhua and enjoying once more the wonderful story and lovely art. Wei Wuxian continues to be adorable and his affection for Lan Wangji is so fun. This also covers a bit about Nie Mingjue, which is great because I love the Nie brothers and their complicated history. While rereading this, and I'm sure this isn't a new thought, but I was wondering if, . It was just interesting to revisit.
It's also fun to see how the story nudges at different pairings, creating interesting dynamics between, yes, mostly Jin Guangyao and Lan Xichen, and Nie Mingjue and Lan Xichen, but also Jiang Cheng and Lan Xichen. Lan Xichen, for all his faults, really works with most characters, and that's fun.
All in all, another great volume. Looking forward to volume 8!

I absolutely loved it. Don't expect me to ever rate anything MDZS less than five stars. This volume felt so long in the best way possible. We followed so many stories. We have the forehead ribbon puzzle finally solved. Wei Ying finally knows why the Lans are so protective of their forehead ribbon. Of course he thinks Lan Zhan doesn't understand what he did, but he won't be oblivious for long.
We also get the whole story about Mingjue and Guangyao. I'll never stop talking about how delusional Xichen is. He keeps thinking Jin Guangyao is misunderstood. His delusion cost Mingjue's life. Every time someone tried to tell him Guangyao did something wrong, Xichen made excuses for him.
Seriously, Lan Zhan should have held Xichen accountable for so many things, too.
Anyway, this was another great volume, and I can't wait for the next one!

The continued adventures of Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji as they try to piece together the dismembered corpse. The only missing part is the head and it brings them to Golden Lotus Palace, home of the Jin Clan. Wei Wuxian also finally finds out what the Lan Clan's forehead ribbon means and has a flashback to a night hunt when he was still in his own body. We also see just how easily Lan Xichen is misled by Jin Guangyao.
The graphics are just as beautiful as the last several books and this is another excellent installment. My only gripe is that I wish these were longer and included more of the story in each volume.

In the process Wei Wuxian finally learns what it means to touch a Lan Clan forehead ribbon, which leads him down memory lane to a previous time he's touched Lan Wangji's ribbon. We also meet Nie Mingjue and see just how easily Lan Xichen is fooled by Jin Guangyao. We're finally starting to see that story come into play.
The graphics are just as good as before. I wish these were a little longer, so you'd get more of the story in each volume, but overall I can't complain.
