An amazing romantic thriller with characters that come right off the page. The story really resonates. It’s about community and found family. It’s about self-discovery in mid-life and finding comfort along a path that doesn’t fit the mold. The murder mystery aspect is incredibly well done and the sex scenes are spicy 🔥 definitely worth the read for anyone who enjoys a quick page turner!

A murder mystery, steamy sex, and found family - what more do you need?! M. Cooper tells a story of love, acceptance, and being true to yourself in spite of societal pressures in a way that always kept my attention, with well-developed characters who never felt like caricatures. When I finished it, I was sad to say goodbye to the characters. I wanted to know more about where their lives go from here.

Cooper handles the subject of polyamory in a respectful, accepting, and informative way. The strong women characters help with that a lot.

In addition to all that, there's a intriguing murder mystery with twists I didn't see coming.

And did I mention the steamy sex scenes? 🔥
