Favorite volume so far. Lan Xichen is one of my favorite side characters (I think the LA actor influences this 🤣) so I was happy to get more of him. Love Nie Mingjue (he's gorgeous in this adaptation too) and it just breaks my heart what happens to him and Nie Huasiang. And of course my girl Mianmian!
What I loved the most was the Xuanwu slaughter cave time with WY and LZ.
Six pages of LZ's gay panic with much more detail than the LA version for obvious reasons.

This volume covers one of my favourite parts, the Xuanwu cave, and it was amazing though not as gruesome and dark than in the novel. The chibis help to deflect some of the tension.

I consider the Xuanwu slaughter cave their very first date, they even got to first base: killing something together. Also, an additional treat that is Lan Zhan marking—biting—Wei Ying.

Out of all the people he could take after, it had to be his uncle. Even the place he stabbed me is the same.
The manhua is making me realise something that I sort of missed out while watching the live adaptation, at one point or another most of the people wanted Wei Wuxian to be dead. And none of them ever knew the full story.

Hasta el momento este es el volumen que más me ha gustado!
Seguimos con el flash back del libro anterior, no entendí mucho pero si me llama la atención como Jin Guangyao tenía tanta información y pudo actuar tan rápido, claramente él hizo algo para que su esposa se "suicidara"...
Lan Zhan escapando con Wei Ying a cuestas es muy lindo, en especial porque desencadena otro recuerdo que nos permite entender un poco más la relación de ellos cuando son jóvenes
Aquí unos 20 cultivadores jóvenes de distintos clanes son básicamente secuestrados por el Clan Wen de Quishan, en dónde podemos ver qué ambos son apartados del grupo por culpa de una bestia y se sacrificaron para que los demás pudieran salir a salvo.
Pasan varios días juntos, heridos y enfermos, matan a la bestia y en ese tiempo logran estrechar lazos, creo que desde ahí Lan Zhan muestra que le atrae Wei Ying o que cayó enamorado... Me gusta como Wei Ying se preocupa por despertar y no ver a Lan Zhan, en especial porque fue el único que se dió cuenta que estaba herido y lo quiso ayudar.

Aaaaah, mi flashback favoritooooooo. Junto con OTRO que todavía está por llegar, jajaja. Pero este, ESTE FLASHBACK AAAAAAH. Creo que uno de los puntos fuertes que ha hecho que me encante es lo bien que han combinado el dibujo "serio" con el chibi en esta ocasión.

Al fin un tomo más de esta historia.
Me gusta como la historia entrelaza la historia del presente de Wei Wuxian y el pasado.
Los flashback son coherentes y detallados, nos acercan al punto en el que él falleció.
Mientras Lan Wangji y Wei Wuxian buscan la cabeza del cadáver resentido, recuerdan su pasado cuando el clan Wen los tomo como rehenes y Wen Chao los denigraba.
Pero ambos sobresalen como siempre.
El final me entristece porque Yu Ziyuan siempre trato de enemistar a Jian Cheng con Wei Wuxian.

I need to set up a special display area for these manhuas. The covers are way too gorgeous to be sitting on my shelf with only the spine showing. Seriously. I cannot get over it. The way they’re holding on to each other, the emotion shown in their eyes, the rain. Every detail on this cover is incredible.

The identity reveal and Xuanwu of Slaughter are some of the most intense scenes in the series. There is so much pain and suffering from all of the characters that’s is palpable. I love this series is much and seeing the characters come to life in this way is amazing. I can’t wait for the next one.

¿Saben? Cada cubierta de los volúmenes representa una escena en el manhua y como amé el momento de Wei Wuxian y Lan Wangji en la cueva 🤭❤️
Se supone que estamos en este juego del pasado y presente (la primera vida y segunda vida de Wei Wuxian) y conocer un poco más como se va formando el lazo con Lan Wangji me llena el alma 💃✨️
También vemos con Wuxian usa la cinta de Wangji tan a la ligera y ver a Wangji morir de cólera 🤣🤣 es super divertido.
Igual siguen las escenas de humor, que le da un toque único a la historia.
