Dr. Cherrington interviewed me for my marriage recommend several years ago and generously offered me a copy of his book when I asked about the title.
I thought the book was okay. It was written by a professor, and the writing reflected that fact. There is a lot of good information here, some accessible, some not as easy to understand or use.
A little too much like a textbook for me to recommend.

A really well researched book. It is so nice to have a book on parenting centered around the gospel. It had great real-life examples that helped me really see how I could apply it to my family. It isn't just a book on responsibility, it includes advice on many parenting aspects. This book was wonderful, and I would so highly recommend it to any parent.
