Chasing Storm is the second book in this duet and it picks up with the aftermath of the cliffhanger from Breaking Storm.

This duet was so good, I gobbled it up! Teagan and Joey are put through the wringer with this one but their love and commitment won out. There were quite a few twists in the second book that I did not see coming. There were double-crosses, unexpected alliances, angst, drama and finally vengeance.

I was so happy to see Joey and Teagan get the HEA they fought for and deserved. The ending was perfect and I felt all the characters were given the life and love they wanted but never thought they would get.

The entire duet was well written and the character development was great. My only negative was Joey’s dad…it was too quick and I wanted him to experience just a portion of what Joey did. But, that’s just my vengeful twisted mind!

If you are a fan of the gang world, I would highly recommend this duet. It has drama, angst, gang life, romance, redemption and the right amount of spice. I can’t wait to read more from this author.

Thank you to Denise and Book Sirens for and ARC for free. I am leaving this review voluntarily.

I was debating on eating this 3 stars but I decided it deserves 4. I really struggled with this book and just couldn't fully submerse myself into it like I normally do. There is definitely weird wording considering a body part is called a starfish and there is another area that kind of gave me the ick as well. but it has some great points and such a happy ending and every one is safe.
