I follow this guy on TikTok and love it. They make me laugh so hard so of course I ordered the book, but these are actually so good. He understands the assignment and while the language is a new (and I’m using this with tongue firmly in cheek) translation, this really is a great story.

If you want a flavor, google the annunciation story. It’s not for everyone but far from being irreverent, I think it’s creative and reminds me of how fresh the good news always is.

Somebody cooked.
As a work of literature, this feels like an extremely relevant way to relate older stories to a new generation. I worry the opportunity might be wasted if the stance is taken that it isn't valid. Some of the adaptations had me rollin! I think it'll make a nice addition to the religion section of our high school library.

DO NOT READ DO NOT BUY!! Whether the stories are accurate or entertaining is irrelevant. This book is written and marketed towards children and teens but the author is on the Child S/O registry list (not just for older cases but also recent cases aswell). He is using this book to reach the minds of children.
