The Reset, the 3rd installment of the Time Corrector series, revolves around the themes of time travel and love. Where the protagonist, Vincent, tries to save his loved one by working on the timelines, which might also save the world. Although this book is stand-alone, I highly suggest reading the first two so that you can relate to it quickly when the author references an incident in the timeline. I am so glad I got it on Kindle, which helps me make sense of the timelines that, in some parts, are confusing. The plot is so interesting that I was okay with getting confused and going back and re-reading it. It is a thought-provoking experience, and I immensely enjoy this challenging but entertaining read. Also since I do understand some japanese, I was excited to see those words in this book .

A masterful blend of science fiction and fantasy, this epic conclusion to the Time Corrector series is sure to leave a lasting impression on readers old and new alike.
When I read The Movement, I imagined a million ways the story might end. But none matched with what Avi decided to create. I was thrown off when I read the first chapter. But then I remember, Emika's dream in The Movement where she was laying the piano and was unable to reach Vincent. This was one one of the most emotionally satisfying story I have ever read. The chapter Emika's song which appears three times, shows how each element is connected together. There were moments (I won't write any spoilers here), where I could not help but cried. Although the characters are larger-than-life, yet they all seem so real, so lively. This is not just a book. You can feel the touch and warmth of the characters. There is a cliffhanger, and I hope Avi continues with the series.

Fabulous stuff!
Damn- anyone else having issues with goodreads crashing when you are well into your review and you lose it all—- this is very frustrating!!
I truly enjoyed the concept of this series. And thoroughly enjoyed the storyline itself.
I did not enjoy the change of time every few paragraphs. I found myself continuously questioning who I was / where I was / when I was / and who I was with.
The extensive book notes index was of no help to me; I tried to use it to help refresh info but did not find it worked well for me. I have not seen such an extensive index since I left school.
Book is left open ended. There may be more to come.
This is non-linear narration at its very best. The repetition of scenes from dreams, to reality to alternative reality across POVs are superb. The chapter, "Luatic(s)," is mind-blowing and so is Emika's character development across two realities. This author pours everything in their story and creates something that's deeper than just a book. When I read The Winding and the Movement, I was thrown off by Datta's unusual writing. But now I see it. And I want to see it more. I said, "I see it." Because you don't read these books, you see it right before your eyes as the scenes happens.
Dr. Vincent is set against his opponent Phillip in order to rescue his daughter, but events and worlds collide, which necessitate the two to work together against corrupt governments and arms races, as well as sudden villains coming to tear down the fabric of time. This book is a fantastic ending to the series, a convoluted exploration into the various plots and characters and an interesting conclusion that will raise questions all the while plot lines will be laid to rest.
