The Emerald Head Caper

Rate this book
The Emerald Head Caperis a tale of an almost has-been PI turned relic hunter in Belize. Events conspire to turn him back to his investigative talents. Packed with action and spirits! Hang on for action packed adventure! Penn Gwinn had turned from private investigator to relic hunter. Retiring to Belize provided a high standard of living. However, his pseudo retirement came to an abrupt halt when he ran into a thorny bush, and curvaceous persuasion. Joining up with a group of three teenagers from Northern California was not in his game plan. Nor was a wild squad of Guatemalan soldiers bent on liberating the people of Belize! His worst nightmare was heading into the Belizean jungle with all of them! When the Emerald Head is found, it is beyond everyone's expectations and beliefs. Mr. Miller ties all three plots into an explosive finale!

Harold R. Miller

Hal Miller - author of the action-packed Penn Gwinn Series - is an author of many talents. Many of his action/adventure novels, which are spiced with international intrigue, spies, and secret governmental agendas, rely on his experiences both as a private investigator as well as with the NSA.

An experienced journalist and editor, he also incorporates his knowledge of sailing, sail boat construction, exotic locales, and governmental funny business to create page-turners that are oddly prophetic.

He lives in Marin County but has traveled extensively both internationally and in the U.S. for work and for inspiration, particularly in Latin America. He has written several plays and screenplays based on his books.
