Prophecy predicted Prince Talal would meet his soulmate and usher in a golden age – but there are hardships to endure before that comes to pass.
Kit and Talal are prepared to battle their enemies. What they aren’t expecting is for danger to lurk in the heart of Sudharain itself.
When treachery divides the soulmates, Kit and Talal must find their way back to each other. And then they must secure peace strong enough to hold across Sudharain ... and all the way to Lindumia on the other side of the sea.
Warrior is the action-packed and heart-wrenching culmination of Kit and Talal’s story as they face enemies both within and outside the sultanate, alongside events that test their relationship to breaking point.
Repost of erased review from other platform, read in April 24:
The enthralling end to the series! Twists, action, romance…it’s all here.
It’s been such a journey, meeting the soulmates and going along as they hated each other, fell for each other, and learned to work with each other as equals and true lovers. All the meant-to-be feels, but no predictable beats here, no sirree. This marvelous exploration of cultures, culture clashes, religion, kindness, fascism, zealotry, politics, and most of all, human emotions is one heck of a ride and I highly recommend the entire series. This author has tremendous insight and heart and infuses it into her stories. She also knows what makes a good leader. If only Talal and Kit could run a real country! Ah, dreaming on.
This finale delivers twist after twist and races off into the sunset for Talal and Kit. I won’t say much more, but, if you love romantasy and adventure with well-developed characters, plots, and atmospheric settings you can see, hear, smell, feel, and taste, dive right in. This has all the nuance and complexity you could want along with an addictive and engaging romance that runs all the way through.
HEA, devious betrayals and triumphs abound. These two are soulmates, enemies in book 1 who became lovers and then true partners. No cheating or emotional cheating or any OM shenanigans at all. Highly, highly recommended book and series.
My thanks to the author for the complimentary copy. This opinion is all my own.
Warrior was a satisfying conclusion to an incredible series. After reading these books, you can easily see how both Kit and Talal have grown and matured, enabling them to face the challenges presented as the story concludes. The two will face challenges as well as betrayals from both within the sultanate and without. There are personal, internal challenges as well that Kit and Talal will need to face together. There is loss, danger, and intrigue, but also love, courage and integrity. The two are separated during parts of the story clearing showing how much stronger they are together. The prophesy is coming together for these two soulmates.
From the first page of Assassin to the last page of Warrior, the reader is captured and held hostage in these pages until the last word has been read. Kudos to Katy Haye for gifting us such a journey. I am hoping we see more of these two in the future. Who knows? I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this story.
Kit and Talal have been through quite a lot as we have followed their story from their beginning to this well crafted ending. In this last installment they are preparing for war not because they want it but because it feels like it is dogging their trail. And it is so good that they have each other because their enemies are not only from without but they have to be concerned about those close by as well. They are such a force when they are together. And it was so good to see them get to the end of this saga together as a solid pair of soulmates. Kudos to this author for such a strong series of stories that has held my attention throughout. I will re-read these books and recommend them as well. I received an ARC from GRR and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Kit and Talal are once again in the thick of it. Preparing for war, hoping for peace. Their enemies both internal and foreign testing their bond.
The author always gives them new friends and supporters and they sometimes lose those closest to them so it’s a trade off. New people to get fond of and the sadness of saying goodbye to characters I’m invested in.
Kit and Talal have always shone when they are together. For much of this story they were apart. While it made an interesting story with a some action, it wasn’t my favorite of the series. The end was a satisfying conclusion. I am looking forward to the Pirate’s story.
I just finished Warrior and loved it! I’ve read every book so far and couldn’t put this one down. This is a great read and I highly recommend you immerse yourself in a world of soulmates and friends and family. This book will put its hook in you from the very beginning, and it won’t let you go. It’s not all roses and there is danger, death, and destruction but love wins in the end. Kit and Talal’s story tugs at your heart and it was a journey I’m glad I embarked on from the beginning. Highly recommend you read the series for yourself since I don’t want to spoil it for you! Loved the story and want more please!
Kit and Talal’s story continues here, and once again there’s plenty to test their goals and their connection to one another. It was interesting (and intense) to see them apart for a significant portion of the story— they’re stronger, in so many ways, when together. There’s adventure and intrigue enough to keep pages turning, and like the rest of the series, this installment is a whirlwind of both plot and emotion— ultimately a heck of a ride.
*I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
This has been such a fantastic series! This final book was everything I eanted but didn't know I did. When I learned Kit and Talal would be separated in this story, I wondered how much I would like that, as I've always most enjoyed seeing them together and how their relationship is developing. Separating them, however, gives us a clear view of how they have changed over the course of the series and how a huge part of that is due to them being together. We also see that together, they can face all the betrayals and schemes from both within and without and overcome them.
A worthy ending for a tumultuous and adventurous series. As if the war with the neighbouring countries isn't enough now our soulmates have to face betrayal in their own country. This story made me sad and angry and happy - a rollercoaster of emotions I happily went through to get to the conclusion of everything. I really liked the writing. The world and character building was well done. All in all I really enjoyed this.
Still exciting! Kit and Talal are seriously being tested professionally and romantically. They are facing enemy seen, unseen, external and internal. They are challenged to maintain their faith in each other and their cause. Over the series they show they are stong together, but have a solid foundation to be strong apart. Absolutely fantastic series, well structured, great characters exciting action and support structure. Well done! I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review.
The story of Kit and Talar is far beyond a love story. It’s the story of two souls that were drifting in the universe and finally found each other. This last book wrap this beautiful story with a very big bow. I found the first book by accident and I’m glad that I read the whole series because after all the trials and tribulations it showed that love can prevail.
This was a perfect resolution to a romping adventure series! I really grew to love the MCs, Kit & Talal. They aren’t just soulmates, they’re perfectly suited partners. Very engrossing read that I devoured. I read the whole series in less than 2 weeks. Would definitely recommend.
He has been told he will meet his soul mate but life is not going to be easy to get that future. They will be separated by betrayal and they will need to fight to get back to each other. How will they get on? Can they get back to each other? See how they get on
Warrior is a great book. I recommend you enter into the world of soulmates. It's full of action and adventure. Kit and Talal have a beautiful love story that they have to battle for.
So shit. So glad I’m done with this series fucking hell. Did a 13 year old write this? I can’t read crap anymore and I’m so sad about it. I shouldn’t have read so many good books recently.
