⭐⭐⭐⭐ 🌶️🌶️🌶️ “Her needs trump my own every time. I would rïp out my hēart and give it to her if she asked me for it. It wouldn’t do me any good without her anyway. It beats at her command and stutters at her reprimand.” -Rees
Changed Omega is a beautifully emotional story that really took me on a journey of a vast variety of feelings that exist in the range of human emotions. The suspense strikes worry and concern from the very beginning. Garth’s story and his grief provoking profound sadness, makes it impossible not to feel for him. Prankster Meade and his easy-going, happy personality provided laughter and joy. The love that these characters have for one another brought butterflies to my insides. And the heat and passion between them made me sweat. It is a beautiful story of love, loss, grief, redemption, and second chances.
When a feral Alpha kidnaps Omega Ivory from her home right after her heat, her pack will do everything possible to get her back safely. But after she returns home and the healing process begins, a simple letter will change everything. The path to healing and redemption is a hard one, but can love really conquer everything? Changed Omega is a non-shifter omegaverse why choose/polyam with MM, FF, MF, and MMF.
This was a great omegaverse book full of so many emotions and tons of spicy moments!
I enjoyed that the pack was already established when we first start this book, and we get to see how they all work together. Each one of them provides something different for their omega, and together, they are the perfect pack. You have the strong protector alpha, the funny alpha, and the nurturing and caring beta. I wasn’t too sure about a female beta being in the pack, but I thought it was really well done in this book.
Garth’s story was heartbreaking, but I’m glad he got his second chance. I loved that Ivory’s pack was so kind and considerate to hear him out. Between Ivory’s heat and so many characters, the spice was off the charts in this book!
This book is a rollercoaster of emotions, and you really feel them. The pure joy and love, the raw grief and heartbreak, the feeling of loss, and all the happy and spicy times in between. This was a beautiful love story, and the ending was perfect!
Changed Omega is a contemporary omegaverse story written by Rozy Mack.
💜 omegaverse 💜 found family 💜 forced proximity 💜 second chances 💜 🌶🌶🌶🌶 spice
Ivory loves her pack. Everyone has a role that works well and helps keep the pack moving forward together. Rees is the head alpha and he can always be counted on when needed. Meade is the other alpha but brings some comic relief when needed. And Brynn is the beta of the pack and she always makes sure that the supplies that are needed during the heat are available. And those supplies are very much needed now as Ivory is stepping into the heat as we meet them all. But what happens when things don’t go as planned? Will they be able to get through it as a pack?
This is a great love story that happens to also be an omegaverse. There are so many aspects to love. Grief is a funny thing in that no two people will grieve the same way. This was a wonderful way to express that very journey and how sometimes it really does take a village to help. I really enjoyed the journey this story took me one and I can’t wait to see if other stories will be told within this world.
I absolutely loved this book and the characters. Ivory is so sweet and doted on by her pack and I loved it . How they all took their turns to ease her through her heat and let me just say the spicy scenes were fab. My heart ached for what happened to her but also Garth I got so angry with but just like he set out to woo her pack he did just that with me as well. I’m so happy how all of it ended up and second chances are really hard to come by and I was thrilled how everything worked out.
Changed Omega my Rozy Mack is a heart wrenching, loving Omegaverse story that has me all up in my feels. Ivory, Omega, is kidnapped after her heat by an Alpha named Garth. At first, I wasn't sure about Garth, but we get so much insight into his heartbreak, that you can't help but love/feel sorry for him. I loved how Ivory's pack was open to listening to him and getting to know him. Loving story.
This was such a good read. I've read a lot of Omegaverse romances, and this was different from the others I've read. It is one of my favourite sub genres of Romance, so it was refreshing to be surprised.
Ivory is happily settled in her pack with her two Alphas and a Beta when she's suddenly bitten and taken by a rogue alpha.
Garth was actually my favourite in this story. His history was so interesting and I was rooting for him from the start.
The emotions in this book are felt so strongly, I felt well and truly absorbed in this book and really connected to how the characters were feeling.
The spicy scenes in this book were red hot! I loved that we saw group interactions as well as one on one.
I'll definitely be recommending this book to other omegaverse fans.
Emotional and inspiring. Garth has suffered ultimate loss and has accepted the fact that he’s alone, not living just surviving. Ivory has the best pack, loving and supportive. The events that take place after Garth takes Ivory will pull at your heart. His pain is devastating. I loved how much effort Garth puts in to prove himself to the rest of Ivory’s pack. And the understanding Meade, Rees and Brynn show Garth is welcoming. A great story!
I really enjoyed the twists Rozy added into her Omegaverse. I loved the characters and specifically how Ivory was so forgiving after she’d been through something so traumatic. This is a wonderful story of second chances.
If you have looked at any of my reviews you will know that I LOVE an omegaverse novel. Typically, these tend to follow similar patterns/storylines and each adds its own twist. However when I saw the blurb of this I was instantly excited as I had never seen a concept of second chance disruption of an already established pack. Was I a little concerned that this would be too “out there” for an already fantasy heavy genre? Yes. Was I wrong? ABSOLUTELY
I adored Ivory and her pack. Having things start off with her coming in to heat unexpectedly and her pack being supportive was definitely foreboding. knowing that it was all about to soon go wrong with the feral alpha Garth was like a car crash I couldn’t look away from and I found myself doing my usual staying up until the small hours unable to put the book down. I would be lying if I said I enjoyed the whole book because it was devastating to read about Garth’s pain and there were a lot of times I wanted to throw my kindle in frustration/upset but that’s what makes this such a great read. I went from hating Garth to actively rooting for him and giggling like a school girl at him proving himself to the pack.
Aside from the emotional pull of the book can we just address the fact that Rozy has serious skill at writing FF scenes! These can be a real hit or miss but were so well written and I loved seeing the individual intimacy as well as that of the pack.
With this being my first read by Rozy I wasn’t sure what to expect but one thing is for sure I will be back again for whatever she chooses to write!
I've been waiting for this book since the author first did a cover reveal. Let me be honest I'm a sucker for pretty covers, and this one is so pretty 😍. This is very much a second chance romance for 1 of the characters, and I'm so glad they got their HEA. I will say that the beginning of their story doesn't start off well.
This story centers around an already established pack. Ivory, an omega, lives a HEA with her pack, but when she's taken, she has to endure a feral alpha. Her packmates are crazy with worry and getting little to no help in trying to rescue her. Will they be able to forgive and accept a grief stricken alpha into their pack?
This story has MM and FF, and the 🌶 among this pack starts quickly. I wasn't sure what direction this story would take since I went into it completely blind. I was pleasantly surprised by how different this book is to other omegaverse stories I've read. I felt so bad for 1 alpha after finding out his backstory. I'm looking forward to getting Jetta's story.
A Beautiful Story of Intentions and Second Chances One thing I'm learning to love about this author's works are the messages she hides within the stories, something I try to do in my own works and appreciate reading in others. Life is full of lessons, and so should our stories be! This one had my heart breaking, melding back together, and swelling for our characters as they struggle through understanding that sometimes bad things are not all bad. Good things can come from bad things, it's all in how we perceive them, how we listen to the other side of the story, whether or not we're willing to be open enough to a second chance, to building a new future. This story was beautiful, sweet, and I loved getting to know our characters on such an intimate and personal level, which not as many authors achieve so easily. Rozy Mack has a beautiful way with words and emotions, and I can't wait to continue reading her works in the future.
I’ve been torn on how to review this book because there was a lot I liked, and a few things I didn’t. Overall though, it was an enjoyable read and I would recommend it to fans of omegaverse.
First, the good parts- Garth’s story was so emotional and I loved his character so much, despite his actions in the beginning. I loved the closeness of Ivory’s pack and how much they all loved one another, each in their own ways.
The two things that stopped me from fully loving this story was the language was a bit corny at times and the shortness of the spicy scenes. I love the tension and the high heat of omegaverses and I didn’t really get that here. There were lots of steamy scenes but they felt rushed to me.
Still, this was a very good book, especially considering the author is still new to the scene. I look forward to reading more of her work in the future.
This book is so full of feelings, angst, fear, lust, love and hope. The pack in this book is already established, so its straight into their Omega's heat. It sure starts off steamy, then for a long while its not. The main theme of this book is definitely redemption. Dealing with grief and trying to allow yourself to feel again. The entire pack all get their POV's which is great, getting those different perspectives about events always makes the book more real. Now I dont want to spoil anything, but having trauma and different types of trauma, within a group of people, makes how they deal with it and their differences much clearer. Changed Omega is a unique Omegaverse book that deserves our attention!
I absolutely loved this book! Trauma and forgiveness play a role but so does forgiveness and a much needed second chance. The best thing about this story is that it shows how much the unconditional love and devotion of chosen families can help wounds heal, even if they are not our own. And when Garth got out of his head and made an effort? He went all out. Not just for Ivory but for the rest of the pack as well. The pack didn't necessarily agree with Ivory's decisions but they still stood by her while making sure she was safe. Their love for her allowed them to eventually extend some much needed grace for someone else to begin healing from their own trauma. And that is the level of devotion we should all aspire to attain.
"The world tries to break us. Sometimes it succeeds. Other times it falls short. But each time, we reach for those who provide a lifeline, and we hang on for all we're worth." The story this book tells is amazing. Please review the author's note and trigger warnings before you read. Ivory might not respond to trauma the way you think you would, but someone, somewhere, identifies with her actions. I loved watching Pack Lohr adapt, overcome, and love each other. I must admit I'm very curious to read Jetta's story. But I NEED Jed's story. I cannot explain why, but he's been on my mind a lot since finishing the book. And I NEED to know if he's okay.
I really enjoyed this story so much! This is a contemp no shifthing omegaverse. Personally a huge fan of those so I am a little biased I know but this one really took me by surprise in the best way possible. The FMC Ivory is already in a pack and that is actually not something I've read before so that is really a plus. The problems however come when Ivory is kidnapped and the aftermath. How do you deal with this? The emotions are really like a rollercoaster and I highly recommend it to all OV lovers out there.
ive would been ok with this book if she'd have the will to supress her omega side and not give in to the alpha.. he kidnapped u girl, what r u doing drooling over him... and then letting him bite u?? oof
i wouldve NOT been ok with him joining, like im sorry, i just cant, i would need at LEAST a year before i even trust u so close to my omega??? nah, too forgiving, to easy, no groveling (to the omega, cause the alpha is all boohoo i did a bad thing let me grovel alone)
and the neighbor?? why u meddling in my business??? i couldn't, i really couldn't
I was not sure how I'd like this book when I first saw it. I'm glad I gave it the chance it deserved. It's so rare to find an OV that has an established Pack and an alpha wants to join instead of an omega (or as the 2nd omega). I loved how the Pack didn't immediately forgive and forget but, was kind and supportive enough to try to for their Omega. This story was well written and the characters were amazing. I also loved the grovel. It overall was great and I'd recommend it.
This is an omegaverse with no shifting, RH/poly story with a main theme of second chances. I love that the main characters are already in a bonded pack with Ivory as Omega when we meet them and that we learn through the story how they became so. The problems come in the form of a packless Alpha kidnapping Ivory and the resulting aftermath of this. This is such an emotional story with wonderful characters and it was beautifully written I loved it. Please check your TW before reading.
I enjoyed this take on omegaverse. I loved the feral aspect that was added, and I think it really helped tell this story. On more than one occasion, I found myself in tears. Rozy had me hooked on these characters almost from the get go. I loved the pack dynamic, as its different than most I’ve read before. LOVED the heat scenes, and this book definitely brought the steam. But more than that, it brought characters and relationships that I fell in love with.
I loved this story. I was hooked right from the start, drawn right in and couldn't put it down. Roxy Mack. Does a great job of making you feel the emotions of these characters. Its such an amazing story about bonds, dealing with trauma and forgiveness. I highly recommend this story.
I loved this story. So much I was hooked right from the start, and couldn't put it down. Roxy Mack. Does a great job of making you feel all the emotions of these characters. Its such an amazing story about bonds, dealing with trauma and forgiveness. I highly recommend this story. And can’t wait for the next
Garth story just was so... heartbreaking but also perfect. This book was amazing I loved ivory and Rees. The characters worked so well with eachother. There is sword crossing as well as traditional and group pairings. I definitely enjoyed this book. Though I will warn it wasn't for the faint of heart!
Love this storyline. This story gives you a different take on the bonds between an Alpha, Beta and Omega. Also shows you that you can redeem yourself after you've made a mistake. It just takes time and a very big heart to mend all the wrongs.
I DNFd this. Sadly it felt like it was ALL internal dialog especially the povs. I only made 10% and could not form a connection with any of the characters. It might have been the way it was written but this one is a no for me.
I would definitely recommend this story. Ivory and Garth's journey through the trauma of a forced bond is rocky. But the path they and the rest of Ivory's pack take is beautifully written. I look forward to possibly reading Jetta's story.
This omegaverse is a beautiful story. It is packed with emotion and heat. I loved Ivory and her pack. They are a found family that fits very well together. There were some amazing raw moments to their story. Overall this is a beautiful standalone omegaverse poly romance
I had to DNF this one at 60%. It was well written but I couldn't get into how quickly Ivory forgave Garth for forcing a oind on her which in Omegaverse terms.is pretty close to r*pe. And her pack just jumps on board because anything for their Omega.
Great book! Had the spice had the trama had the twists and jaw drops also has u hooked from page one! The writing on the characters is well done helping I feel the emotional connection! I would recommend this book!🔥♥️
